Paṇḍito sīlasampanno
jalaṃ aggīva bhāsati;
bhoge saṃharamānassa
bhamarasseva irīyato.

One who is virtuous and wise
shines forth like a blazing fire;
like a bee collecting nectar
one acquires wealth by harming none.
