Lifestyles  |  Lammas: Where Did It Come From?

The excitement of the harvest season has permeated the fabric of history since the agriculturally based societies were first established. Having weathered the delicate beginning of the planting stage and found mercy from the myriad catastrophes that could befall the crops, Lammas heralded the onset of the time of tremendous work met with equal reward. Wheat is thought to have been the first grain to translate out into deliberate agricultural production and the festival of the wheat harvest was of great significance.  […]

Entering the 11:11 Portal  | Matt Khan

In my last energy update, I discussed the numerical signs and synchronicities that confirm you are aligned with and entering the 11:11 portal. Such signs included seeing 1111 on license plates, 11:11 on clocks, any repeating numbers, as well as ascending sequences, such as 123, 456, or 789. These signs indicate that your inherent spiritual impulse has been initially awakened leading you on a journey to return into full alignment with the light and embody your  soul as an anchor of 5D unity consciousness.  […]

Indigenous Zodiac Correspondences

Animals are an important part of Native American culture and there are representations of just about every animal imaginable in the symbolism of Native American horoscopes. We’ll focus primarily, in this article, on the animals most closely associated with birth months, in other words, the zodiac of Native American tribes. Similar to the Greek horoscopes that we use today, Native American tribes held the belief that the time of year a person is born into will directly affect a person’s personal characteristics. Similar to the animal symbols of the modern horoscope, the Native one is also represented by animals. Here is a list, by month, of the animals and their traits. […]

Card of the Day – Knight of Swords – Monday, July 30, 2018

Tarot by Cecelia

As we approach month’s end, I am sure most would say that recently life has felt like a veritable sh*!storm, full of obstacles and challenges, and all you can do is keep battling your way through the energies. The month will be ending with a void-of-course Pisces Moon, so, while you may be chomping at the bit to move forward, it looks as though you may need to wait until August 1 when the Moon will be in impulsive Aries. Any sudden moves on your part, without forethought now, are likely to be met with more obstacles and challenges.

Considering how badly  you wish to move forward, and are willing to rise to every challenge you meet, you may need to hold back, at least until tomorrow. Remember, everything changes and nothing stays the same. The Knight of Swords has a tendency to do things first and just run headlong…

Card of the Day – 9 of Cups – Sunday, July 29, 2018

Tarot by Cecelia

Hmmmm…seeing this today makes me wonder a bit, and prompts me to say be careful what you wish for. The 9 of Cups has long been considered the wish card of the Tarot, and, while everyone loves to see it show up, I do feel it should come with a caution today.

We are on the flip side of the longes Lunar Eclipse of the century, and currently have six retrograde heavenly bodies with which to deal, so making a wish may not be exactly the right thing to do at this time. I do not feel it is possible to make an informed wish, if there is even such a thing, since the energies will be fluctuating until early September. That does not mean that a wish can’t come true today, and I sincerely hope for everyone out there that one does, and it leaves you feeling pleased as…

Card of the Day – King of Wands – Friday, July 27, 2018

Tarot by Cecelia

img_5419

Full Moon blessings, everyone! Today is the Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse at 4° Aquarius, otherwise known as a Blood Moon, and this one is being touted as the longest Eclipse of the century. Our amazing King of Wands comes to us today, courtesy of Erik C. Dunne, of Lo Scarabeo fame, and this deck, Tarot Apokalypsis, is nothing short of spectacular; it is my go-to deck for intense readings such as those involving eclipses.

The King of Wands is the “boss man”, not one to be in the trenches side-by-side with the underlings, rather he leads the pack, and for good reason. He possesses that uncanny knack to know what needs to be done, how to delegate the tasks involved, and any other leadership qualities of which you can think. Remember, this is a powerful Eclipse, and you are being called upon to make changes in your life, hopefully…
