La’au Lapa’au ~ Herbalogy ~ Using Agua Sacral vs. Florida Water

Agua Sacral is a Lemurian Formula containing Palo Santos and used to integrate lost parts of the personality – not soul fragments, but has more of an integrative nature. Although Palo Santos has a very strong clearing property both personal and environmental, the use of Agua Sacral has an integrative property for the retrieval of personality fragments.

Florida Water has been preserved in Santeria which can be traced back to Yoruban traditions to the Egyptian Mystery Schools, which go back to Atlantis. Florida Water is used to clear astral entities before attachment, negative thought forms and unwanted energy. Florida is also used for other ritual purposes, including fire magic.

Pohaku La’au ~ Elestial Crystals

Elestials are quartz crystals that are many expressing themselves as one. These crystals are ancient and tune their energy to their keepers. There are many frequencies that the crystal can tune to simultaneously. The crystal will help people find answers, especially when they grid their rooms and offices with them. Also, elestials can be added to grids to provide a grounding and speeding up motion. A keeper will never outgrow his elestial as the crystal brings in the highest frequency the keeper can process.

WHAT IS A MYSTIC?

DOLPHIN-SMILE

A mystic is not a magician or a crystal-ball-gazer. A mystic is rather a person who has had an experience of God’s love so unmistakable that it changes him or her forever, imparting a confidence that cannot be shaken, a humility that cannot be doubted, a freedom that exudes love and gentleness and authenticity. A mystic knows from experience, not books, that we are each beautiful beyond our understanding, loved beyond our capacity to love, united beyond our perceptions of difference and division.

Hawaiian Sovereignty | Tlahcuilo Anahuac – Academia.edu

rainbow_nautilus
Just like many other geographical spaces that have been colonized, the Hawaiian Islands began as a sovereign and independent entity with their own societal structure and customs. After the initial invasion of western civilization beginning mainly in the late 18th century, native Hawaiian culture was destroyed through foreign societal and legislative systems, eventually leading to the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian government on January 17, 1893. After two illicit attempts by the U.S. to acquire Hawaiian sovereignty by a treaty of annexation, theHawaiian government was forcibly overthrown …

HAWAIIAN CREATION | Devin Blanch – Academia.edu

In the beginning there was only endless darkness.Out of this darkness, two beings were born; the male Kumulipo, whose name means “The essence of darkness” and the female Po’ele whose name means “darkness itself”.
These two created all the creatures of the total darkness; the shellfish that live at the very bottom of the ocean floor, the plants that grow during the dark of night and the grubs that burrow in the earth. As these creatures were born the dark became slightly lighter. The first beings gave birth to the male Pouliuli whose name means “deep darkness” and the female Powehiwehi, whose name means “darkness with a little light”.
This couple created all the creatures of the almost-darkness; they created the fish that swim in the deep seas and land creatures that live in almost in darkness.
These dark creatures had offspring, and with every new life, the deep darkness of this world got a little brighter. The second couple gave birth to a third: the male Po’el’ele, whose name means “night” and the female Pohaha, whose name means “coming into dawn”.
These two created the creatures of the darkness-near-dawn; the insects that fly by night, the caterpillar, the grass-hopper and a large egg.
The egg hatched into thousands of birds. These were the birds that fly and sing in the hours just before dawn. The fish, the birds and the insects all had offspring- each new creature added some light to the darkness, until it was getting closer to the light we have in the hours before dawn.
Next to be born were Popanopano and Polalowwehi who gave birth to sea-turtles, lobsters and other shellfish that live in shallow waters in near-darkness. They gave birth to the male Po’hiolo and the female Po’ne’a’aku. Their names mean “night ending”. They produced the rat Pilo’I and Kamapua, the pig, both creatures of day and night.
By this time it was almost dawn and the earth was already buzzing with the life from so many creations. These twocreated the first dawn and light finally came into the world.
The first man, Ki’i and the first woman La’ila’a were born — they were both dark since they were born just at dawn. The first man and first woman had many children. With each generation, their skins became lighter and lighter until they became the color they are now.

Affirmation ~ I Accept The Timing Of Experiences In My Life

GRIDI approach each new day with gusto and open arms. Even when I am faced with the unexpected, I manage it without complaining.

I embrace the unknown path ahead of me. Instead of feeling down about how long things are taking to happen, I make the most of the here and now. Each moment I get to live is a chance to live well.

I have goals that are important to me, yet I am patient in going after them. I look at hiccups in my journey as opportunities to better prepare myself for success.

I am able to make room for other experiences. And those experiences shape a future that is just right for me.

Instead of resisting what is in front of me, I take hold of it. I use it to my advantage and come out successfully at the end. This approach allows me to accept my situation.

Today, my focus is on making the most of whatever life lays before me. I accept that the experiences of today are the ones I am meant to have. I am content with where I am today because I know it prepares me for better things tomorrow.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. How creative am I in making the most out of an unfavorable situation?
2. How do I encourage myself to stay positive in the face of unattained goals?
3. How does peace of mind impact my ability to accept what life throws my way?

Turkey And Mashed Potato Ravioli With Creamy Mushroom Sauce

Cook Plant Meditate

This recipe is a great way to repurpose your Thanksgiving leftovers into something new and delicious that will have your family wishing for more turkey well into the new year.  These raviolis are warm, satisfying and comforting all at the same time.  I use fresh pasta for my ravioli but feel free to use wonton wrappers if you don’t feel up to the fresh pasta task.

Last week, I had a “pre-Thanksgiving” turkey.  The turkey was great but what do you do with the rest of the 10 pounds of poultry?  I love turkey pot pie (stay tuned for that recipe in the near future) and turkey stew but I was searching for something a little different.

Turkey And Mashed Potato Ravioli With Mushroom Cream Sauce

The Filling

1 ½ cups leftover mashed potatoes
1 ½ cups leftover turkey breast, diced
1 egg
1 tablespoon basil
1 tablespoon fresh parsley

Thanksgiving Leftover Pot Pie

Cook Plant Meditate

IMG_5682IMG_5684

If you’re making this, I won’t apologize for the heartburn you’re about to receive. It will be similar to the heartburn you had on thanksgiving. This year, I only had small amounts of each item leftover (except for dessert, of course). I was talking to my sister and she said that she was making turkey pot pie for dinner. She inquired as to what we were having to which I replied, “I dunno, leftover surprise.” This is a common response at my house. My daughter sees me take out chicken for dinner and asks what I’m making. “I dunno, chicken surprise.” It means that you get chicken and whatever else I fish out of the cabinets and fridge.

This is another easy and tasty thanksgiving leftover dish.

The Leftover List (the leftover measurements don’t have to be exact):
2 pre-made pie crusts
2/3 to 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes
2/3…

Recipe ~ Philippine Mafran (or Jufran) Sauce, a most versatile condiment

Banana-Ketchup

Banana ketchup or banana sauce (Mafran or Jufran Sauce) is a popular Philippine condiment made from mashed banana, sugar, vinegar, and spices. Its natural colour is brownish, so it is often dyed red to resemble tomato sauce. Banana ketchup was made when there was a shortage of tomato sauce during World War II, due to lack of tomatoes and a comparatively high production of bananas.

FLAVOUR AND USE

Banana ketchup is sweeter than tomato sauce and is similar in taste to the Indonesian Kecap Manis and the Thai Sweet Chilli Sauce. In Filipino households, this ubiquitous condiment is used on just about any dish – omelettes (torta), hot dogs, burgers, fries, fish and other meats. Banana ketchup is also a vital and distinct ingredient inFilipino-style Spaghetti (sweeter than the traditional Italian spaghetti).

It is exported to countries where there is a considerable Filipino population (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Hong Kong, France, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand).

RECIPE

Prep Time:15 Min
Cook Time:1 Hr 30 Min
Total Time:1 Hr 45 Min
Ingredients
  • ½ cup golden raisins
  • ⅓ cup chopped sweet onions
  • 2 large garlic cloves, quartered
  • ⅓ cup tomato paste
  • 4 large very ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1⅓ cup cider vinegar, divided use
  • 3 – 4 cups water
  • ½ cup (packed) brown sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground chilli pepper, or to taste
  • ¼ cup corn syrup
  • 2 teaspoons ground allspice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons dark rum
Instructions
  • 1
Place the raisins, onions, garlic, tomato paste, bananas, and ⅔ cup vinegar in the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Process until smooth and pour into a large, heavy saucepan.
  • 2
To the banana mixture in the saucepan, add remaining ⅔ cup vinegar, 3 cups water, brown sugar, salt, and ground chilli pepper. Stir to combine.
  • 3
Bring mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring often. Reduce heat to low and cook uncovered, stirring the ketchup occasionally, for 1 hour and 15 minutes. If the sauce gets too thick and begins to stick, add some of the remaining water (up to 1 cup).
  • 4
Add corn syrup, allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring often, for another 15 minutes or until it is thick enough to coat a metal spoon. Stir in the rum and remove from heat. Let cool for 10 minutes.
  • 5
Push ketchup through a fine strainer, mashing the solids with the back of a spoon. Let cool to room temperature, pour into glass bottles, cover, and refrigerate. Use within 1 month. Banana ketchup is especially good as a condiment with pork and poultry.
Yield
  • About 3½ cups
