Pāli Word a Day for September 20, 2017 — tappetar — one who satisfies, a giver of good things

Yo ca vassasataṃ jīve
apassaṃ udayabbayaṃ
ekāhaṃ jīvitaṃ seyyo
passato udayabbayaṃ.

seeing the rise and fall of things
than to live a hundred years
without ever seeing the rise and fall of things.
