MEDITATION MONDAY …

Today, we ask you to look at the power of a mantra. There are many mantras in the wisdom traditions from all over the world, and you can use them to quiet and transcend your thoughts. One of the most common mantras is “so hum” the mantra of the breath. It carries the meaning “I Am That” (so = I Am; hum = That) Use this mantra to quiet your breath and your mind, and focus your “thinking mind” on the mystery of your being.
You can also make up your own mantra. Your mantra should be short and easy to remember, and it should be positive. Choose words that have personal meaning to you; the more emotion they evoke, the better. Repeat your mantra often; even if you don’t see immediate changes take place.
Inspired by the writing of Amanda Bradley, “Follow Your Dream”, please take the time to follow this meditation in its entirety. See if you find something there that can help you tap into your infinite potential to fulfill your own dreams in life.
