Easter is just around the corner and millions of people will be taking to the local mega marts for gobs of eggs and egg dying kits.  But what about those of us who almost exclusively eat brown eggs?  Can they still be colored just as beautifully?  To find the answer we started with our usual egg supplier – The Hen Pen in Napa, CA.  We normally only receive brown eggs in our order but somehow our order got mixed up with another and voila! we ended up with some white eggs too.  YAY!  No shopping at the mega mart for white eggs to complete the eggsperiment!

And so we gathered our professional egg testers at our friends’ house and let the eggsperiment begin.  The egg dye kits come with 5 different colors so we used 5 white eggs and 5 brown eggs and let them soak in the dye for…

2015-03 Late March Patterns

Grandtrines's avatarGrandtrines

After all of the excitement about the recent Solar Eclipse and Vernal Equinox on the same day, anything else seems anticlimactic.  But, as you may have heard on late night television advertisements: “But, wait, there’s more….”

Many of these patterns flow into the early April patterns that precede the Lunar Eclipse in April.  We will address those in a separate post.  We begin with a powerful yod, accompanied by a lesser yod, that dominates the sky from March 22nd through March 31st.  We present beginning and ending charts for this period and note that others may prefer to cast variants of these charts at other times and in other locales:

Yods of 2015-03-22 (Basic, 4 Day Duration)

…and here is the chart for the “end” of this period:

Yods (3-22) end (Basic)[Click Image to Enlarge]

Since what we are left with is Saturn at the apex of a yod with Hygeia on one leg and Astraea…

Aloha ahiahi Lapuli and Happy Vernal Equinox!

Japanese_plum_Ume

Aloha awakea o ahiahi a me Aloha Lapule. Hanu aloha a me hoihoi keia nani lā o po oukou.

Good day or evening and Hello Sunday! Breathe aloha and enjoy this beautiful day or night, everyone.

We hope that the wonderful New Moon energies in Aries combined with the Vernal Equinox sparked your Spring! Mahalo na hoaloha … thank you, friends … for supporting our magical and spiritual journey through the Omni-verse. We’re happy to see that folks are enjoying our listening experience.

Spirits have been called
A long closed doorway is opened
The interaction of excitement and pleasure
Brings opportunity closer

When you meet your soul for the first time …
What will it look like?
What will it feel like?
What kind of things will it say to you?
There is tremendous healing power in getting to know your soul.

NOTES FROM THE UNIVERSE …
Life is not what you see, but what you’ve projected. It’s not what you’ve felt, but what you’ve decided. It’s not what you’ve experienced, but how you’ve remembered it. It’s not what you’ve forged, but what you’ve allowed. And it’s not who’s appeared, but who you’ve summoned. And this should serve you well, beloved, until you find what you already have.

SEEDS FOR MEDITATION … LIFE IN THE ASCENDED STATE
The ultimate goal of humanity is to ascend into the crystalline Light body, a state of true immortality. Evolution does not stop there, but continues beyond fifth density into sixth and finally, seventh, the original level of the soul.

The trick to being a happier person?
Turns out it may lie in setting small, simple goals that can help you to focus on the important things in your life. Setting goals and being happy are part of a virtuous cycle and also reveals what kind of goals lead to the greatest joy.

== GREETINGS VERNAL EQUINOX 2015 ~ ARIES NEW MOON AND RARE SOLAR ECLIPSE ==

This New Moon is truly a new birth of life, inspiration and ideas. It is energetically connected to the womb of evolution, like a butterfly coming out of it’s chrysalis. The earth is changing now all around us as it wakes for the Spring, we are also waking up to what we need to do to grow and move on in our lives.

The energy of transformation is being seeded within each of us. Aries is the warrior, so find your inner spiritual warrior who will guard your back and help keep you focused on your destiny. And don’t be afraid to step in and defend people, places or anyone who can’t help themselves. Find the kind of warrior energy you carry and bring it to the surface.

The New Moon in Aries makes a bold statement and thus leaves no stone unturned as it may symbolically or literally directly point the way to the path that is untraveled. Within the unknown or unfamiliar, the Divine has the opportunity to bring in wonderful surprises. This is a time to make wishes and go for what you want. Aries is a fire sign and is full of ambition and determination. Use this energy to go for what you want. What you may see during the next few days of this New Moon:

During the next few days you may experience a feeling of anger or a new-found confidence, there will be more intense weather patterns, such as storms or thunder. You may be feeling that you need to get moving in your life. There may be some anxiety and impatience over where you are and where you want to be. There will be more spirit/ghost sightings. People will be acting more assertive and argumentative (traffic, at work, relationships, and so forth). Pets may start acting strangely.

This is the Aries energy.

This New Moon is all about change, it is a breath of much needed fresh air. Get rid of old baggage that holds you back. Let the fire of Aries cleanse and heal you. This is a lucky time, so do things that you felt you couldn’t do in the past … be a bit bolder, a bit louder … ask for what you want from the universe … let your thoughts and desires manifest into something real.

Have a Blessed New Moon! May the Divine Mother watch over you. Aloha!

Malama kekahi i kekahi a me Aloha kekahi i kekahi …
Let’s take care of each other and love one another …

O ka Maluhia a me na oe oukou
Peace be with you all

Ka Lae, The Point

Honilima's avatarHONILIMA

Ka Lae is accessible via South Point Road, a 12 mile paved narrow road leading from State Route 11 (Hawai’i Belt Road), the turn off being about 7 miles west of the village of ʻālehu and east of Ocean View, Hawaii This is said to be the first place the Ancients arrived in Hawai’i.

If you look carefully along the shore you can see holes in some of the lava rocks that were used for mooring, carved holes from ancient times. Kai Lae, means “the point” and there is a fishing shrine there known Kalalea Heiau or Hale o Kalalea. Because there was so much comings and goings offerings were left in this area as thanks for the safe ocean journeys. Women were not allowed (kapu).

You can still see this small 43x 35 foot heiau according to the terrific book Ancient Sites of Hawaii by Van James:…
