Paradigm Shift ~ Physicists Discover ‘Clearest Evidence Yet’ That the Universe Is a Hologram

The indication of the universe existing as a ‘hologram’ doesn’t refer to a Matrix-like illusion, but the concept that the three dimensions we observe are actually just “painted” onto the cosmological horizon, the border of the known universe.
The indication of the universe existing as a ‘hologram’ doesn’t refer to a Matrix-like illusion, but the concept that the three dimensions we observe are actually just “painted” onto the cosmological horizon, the border of the known universe.

If this sounds contradictory or paradoxical, try to imagine a holographic picture that changes as you move it. Though the picture is two dimensional, detecting it from different locations generates the illusion that it is 3D.This model of the universe helps explain some variations between general relativity (Einstein’s theory) and quantum physics. While Einstein’s work reinforces much of modern physics, at certain limits (for example in the middle of a black hole) the principles he drawn break down and the laws of quantum physics take over.  (Click on image to read entire article.)

According to scientists photons can travel through time. They already have simulated directing quantum light particles to the past for the first time in the history. University of Queensland scientists learned that a simulation of two wormhole-traveling photons might interrelate; signifying hopping through time is conceivable at smallest scales. Their study might help to comprehend how time-travel could be conceivable in the quantum realm.  (Click on image to continue reading article.)

Seeds For Meditation ~ Increase Self-Compassion To Eliminate Procrastination In Your Life

procrastination

What causes us to procrastinate, and how can we change our relationship with this tricky habit? Self-compassion — kindness and understanding toward one’s self in response to pain or failure — may be the key to addressing procrastination and its cycle of negativity. A study by Fuschia M. Sirois of Bishop’s University in Canada found that people prone to procrastination had lower levels of self-compassion and higher levels of stress, which effectively looped back to increase the stress and further lower a person’s self-compassion. “Self-compassion is an adaptive practice that may…provide a buffer against negative reactions to self-relevant events,” writes Sirois. The implication is that by interrupting the loop between negative self-talk and procrastination, self-compassion may help us avoid the stress associated with procrastination, extricate ourselves from that downward spiral, and help us change our behavior for the better.

“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” ~ Carl Rogers

Kite of October 5th through October 12th

Grandtrines's avatarGrandtrines

We have a kite in play from October 5th through the 12th.  This is an unusually long window, maintained by the fact that, as the Sun moves out of its place in the kite, Venus will move in to continue it.

Kites can be extremely “lucky” periods and Uranus (aka “Prometheus”) features prominently in this one.  Capture your best ideas, no matter how crazy they may sound, during this time period.  Some amazing gifts may come to you, and when you look back you may realize that those ideas were not so “crazy” after all.

Here is one variant of the chart (a number exist because the window is so large):

Blood Moon Tonight ~ October 8, 2014

blood moon 100814Today’s Blood Moon ~ October 8, 2014

The inner feelings of disturbance, the tiredness and the inner questioning of your path and purpose are a reflection of the strength of this full moon, blood moon, eclipse, accompanied by the present galactic shift to higher frequencies that we are collectively experiencing, all ideas, movements, and philosophies are intensified. With these highly tuned frequencies of the planetary alignment that are accessible to all, you can accomplish incredibly powerful and beautiful things by moving without fear or doubt toward positivity. We have been waiting for a moment such as this and it has arrived, just in the nick of time, to be used by us to achieve momentous goals as we join with one another in community for the greater planetary good.

Prophesies say a blood moon signifies the end of days. Allow this in your life to be truth. Let this indeed be an end of days of living in denial of the great changes that are now here on earth. By coming together in community and heartfelt ceremony we can exact a great change for the better planetary good and for us as a tribe and for us as individuals. It is rare that there is so much cosmic activity in our galaxy. It is a perfect time, if not a vital time, to renew our practices and be clear in our friendships and relationship, artistic endeavors and in commerce. We all lie to ourselves of our own truth. With the strength of this moon cycle commit yourself to your full on truth, no stops, no fear and no blame. Create your truth now and live it.
The Hopi Elders say of these times:

We are the ones
We’ve Been Waiting For.

You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour.

And there are things to be considered:
– Where are you living?
– What are you doing?
– What are your relationships?
– Are you in right relation?
– Where is your water?
– Know your garden.
– It is time to speak your Truth.
– Create your community. Be good to each other. And do not look outside yourself for the leader.

Now as you emerge you are clean and beginning a new cycle and the energy is available to make and feel great change for the better in your life and the life of the ones around you.

The benefit is to come into gratitude for all that you have and all that you have done. By taking this stance the fear and anxiety that can be triggered now will be converted into an energetic force for personal and world change.

It is the time to join in community moving toward a place of working with each other for the greater good, the positive side of all that is coming toward you. And what is coming is big. These days in October are the most transformational times we have known in many centuries. That is why we are feeling the urgency to complete tasks, bond friendships and to release all relationships and situations, whether in your personal, business or emotional lives that do not nurture your heart. These are times of cleansing of the emotional body which gives way to the realignment in of body, mind and spirit.

Sending all much love and many blessing … we all now will benefit from doing the work … nothin’ to it but to do it

In Lak’esh
I am the other you …

Nazirutha ~ The Song of The Soul, by Shankaracharya

shoreline birds

I am neither ego nor reason, I am neither mind nor thought,
I cannot be heard nor cast into words, nor by smell nor sight ever caught.

In light and wind I am not found, nor yet in earth and sky –
Consciousness and joy incarnate, Bliss of the Blissful am I.

I have no name, I have no life, I breathe no vital air,
No elements have moulded me, no bodily sheath is my lair:
I have no speech, no hands and feet, nor means of evolution –
Consciousness and joy am I, and Bliss in dissolution.

I cast aside hatred and passion, I conquered delusion and greed;
No touch of pride caressed me, so envy never did breed:
Beyond all faiths, past reach of wealth, past freedom, past desire
Consciousness and joy am I, and Bliss is my attire.

Virtue and vice, or pleasure and pain are not my heritage,
Nor sacred texts, nor offerings, nor prayer, nor pilgrimage:
I am neither food nor eating, nor yet the eater am I –
Consciousness and joy incarnate, Bliss of the Blissful am I.

I have no misgivings of death, no chasms of race divide me,
No parent ever called me child, no bond of birth ever tied me:
I am neither disciple nor master, I have no kin, no friend –
Consciousness and joy am I, and merging in Bliss is my end.

Neither knowable, knowledge, nor knower am I, formless is my
form, I dwell within the senses but they are not my home:
Ever serenely balanced, I am neither free nor bound –
Consciousness and joy am I, and Bliss is where I am found.

Health ~ An Introduction to Biodynamic Agriculture

biodynamic1
Based on “An Introduction To Biodynamic Agriculture”,
originally published in Stella Natura

What is Biodynamic Agriculture? In seeking an answer let us pose the further question: Can the Earth heal itself, or has the waning of the Earths vitality gone too far for this? No matter where our land is located, if we are observant we will see sure signs of illness in trees, in our cultivated plants, in the water, even in the weather.

Organic agriculture rightly wants to halt the devastation caused by humans; however, organic agriculture has no cure for the ailing Earth. From this the following question arises: What was the original source of vitality, and is it available now?

Biodynamics is a science of life-forces, a recognition of the basic principles at work in nature, and an approach to agriculture which takes these principles into account to bring about balance and healing. In a very real way, then, Biodynamics is an ongoing path of knowledge rather than an assemblage of methods and techniques.

biodynamic_affinities-scaled-500
Biodynamics is part of the work of Rudolf Steiner, known as anthroposophy – a new approach to science which integrates precise observation of natural phenomena, clear thinking, and knowledge of the spirit. It offers an account of the spiritual history of the Earth as a living being, and describes the evolution of the constitution of humanity and the kingdoms of nature. Some of the basic principles of Biodynamics are:

Broaden Our Perspective

Just as we need to look at the magnetic field of the whole earth to comprehend the compass, to understand plant life we must expand our view to include all that affects plant growth. No narrow microscopic view will suffice. Plants are utterly open to and formed by influences from the depths of the earth to the heights of the heavens. Therefore our considerations in agriculture must range more broadly than is generally assumed to be relevant.

Reading the Book of Nature

Everything in nature reveals something of its essential character in its form and gesture. Careful observations of nature – in shade and full sun, in wet and dry areas, on different soils, will yield a more fluid grasp of the elements. So eventually one learns to read the language of nature. And then one can be creative, bringing new emphasis and balance through specific actions.

Practitioners and experimenters over the last seventy years have added tremendously to the body of knowledge of Biodynamics.

Cosmic Rhythms

The light of the sun, moon, planets and stars reaches the plants in regular rhythms. Each contributes to the life, growth and form of the plant. By understanding the gesture and effect of each rhythm, we can time our ground preparation, sowing, cultivating and harvesting to the advantage of the crops we are raising. The Stella Natura calendar offers an introduction to this study.

The Life of the Soil

Biodynamics recognizes that soil itself is alive, and this vitality supports and affects the quality and health of the plants that grow in it. Therefore, one of Biodynamics fundamental efforts is to build up stable humus in our soil through composting.

A New View of Nutrition

We gain our physical strength from the process of breaking down the food we eat. The more vital our food, the more it stimulates our own activity. Thus, Biodynamic farmers and gardeners aim for quality, and not only quantity.

Chemical agriculture has developed short-cuts to quantity by adding soluble minerals to the soil. The plants take these up via water, thus by-passing their natural ability to seek from the soil what is needed for health, vitality and growth. The result is a deadened soil and artificially stimulated growth.

Biodynamics grows food with a strong connection to a healthy, living soil.

Medicine for the Earth: Biodynamic Preparations

Rudolf Steiner pointed out that a new science of cosmic influences would have to replace old, instinctive wisdom and superstition. Out of his own insight, he introduced what are known as biodynamic preparations.

Naturally occurring plant and animal materials are combined in specific recipes in certain seasons of the year and then placed in compost piles. These preparations bear concentrated forces within them and are used to organize the chaotic elements within the compost piles. When the process is complete, the resulting preparations are medicines for the Earth which draw new life forces from the cosmos.

Two of the preparations are used directly in the field, one on the earth before planting, to stimulate soil life, and one on the leaves of growing plants to enhance their capacity to receive the light. Effects of the preparations have been verified scientifically.

The Farm as the Basic Unit of Agriculture

In his Agriculture course, Rudolf Steiner posed the ideal of the self-contained farm – that there should be just the right number of animals to provide manure for fertility, and these animals should, in turn, be fed from the farm.

We can seek the essential gesture of such a farm also under other circumstances. It has to do with the preservation and recycling of the life-forces with which we are working. Vegetable waste, manure, leaves, food scraps, all contain precious vitality which can be held and put to use for building up the soil if they are handled wisely. Thus, composting is a key activity in Biodynamic work.

The farm is also a teacher, and provides the educational opportunity to imitate natures wise self-sufficiency within a limited area. Some have also successfully created farms through the association of several parcels of non-contiguous land.

Economics Based on Knowledge of the Job

Steiner emphasized the absurdity of agricultural economics determined by people who have never actually raised crops or managed a farm.

A new approach to this situation has been developed which brings about the association of producers and consumers for their mutual benefit. The Community Supported Agriculture movement was born in the Biodynamic movement and is spreading rapidly. Gardens or farms gather around them a circle of supporters who agree in advance to meet the financial needs of the enterprise and its workers, and these supporters each receive a share of the produce as the season progresses. Thus consumers become connected with the real needs of the Earth, the farm and the Community; they rejoice in rich harvests, and remain faithful under adverse circumstances.

Seeds for Meditation ~ “The Place That is Free of Suffering,” by Eckhart Tolle

water veilThe world promises fulfillment somewhere in time, and there is a continuous striving toward that fulfillment in time. Many times people feel, “Yes, now I have arrived,” and then they realize that, no, they haven’t arrived, and then the striving continues. It is expressed beautifully in A Course in Miracles, where it says that the dictum of the ego is “Seek but do not find.” People look to the future for salvation, but the future never arrives. So ultimately, suffering arises through not finding.

And that is the beginning of an awakening-when the realization dawns that “Perhaps this is not the way. Perhaps I will never get to where I am striving to reach; perhaps it’s not in the future at all.” After having been lost in the world, suddenly, through the pressure of suffering, the realization comes that the answers may not be found out there in worldly attainment and in the future. That’s an important point for many people to reach. That sense of deep crisis — when the world as they have known it, and the sense of self that they have known that is identified with the world, become meaningless.

That happened to me. I was just that close to suicide and then something else happened-a death of the sense of self that lived through identifications, identifications with my story, things around me, the world. Something arose at that moment that was a sense of deep and intense stillness and aliveness, beingness. I later called it “presence.” I realized that beyond words, that is who I am. But this realization wasn’t a mental process. I realized that that vibrantly alive, deep stillness is who I am. Years later, I called that stillness “pure consciousness,” whereas everything else is the conditioned consciousness. The human mind is the conditioned consciousness that has taken form as thought. The conditioned consciousness is the whole world that is created by the conditioned mind. Everything is our conditioned consciousness; even objects are. Conditioned consciousness has taken birth as form and then that becomes the world.

To be lost in the conditioned seems to be necessary for humans. It seems to be part of their path to be lost in the world, to be lost in the mind, which is the conditioned consciousness. Then, due to the suffering that arises out of being lost, one finds the unconditioned as oneself. And that is why we need the world to transcend the world. So I’m infinitely grateful for having been lost. The purpose of the world is for you to be lost in it, ultimately. The purpose of the world is for you to suffer, to create the suffering that seems to be what is needed for the awakening to happen. And then once the awakening happens, with it comes the realization that suffering is unnecessary now. You have reached the end of suffering because you have transcended the world. It is the place that is free of suffering.
