Due to its strategic geographical position between the Mediterranean Sea (connected via the Nile) and the Indian Ocean (connected via the Red Sea), the Kingdom of Aksum was an important player in the trade between the Roman Empire and ancient India. It was perhaps also due to trade that religions such as Judaism and Christianity were able to find a foothold in this ancient kingdom. This may be seen in the story of the ruling dynasty’s origins.

Most Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki schools allow Level 3 Reiki Masters to attune new students. Unlike these schools, The Halau allows only our Usui Teate Grandmasters to propagate basic Reiki technique to beginners. Grandmasters are the only instructors with enough training and knowledge to attune new students. They are trained to perform both live (in-person) as well as astral (long-distance) attunements. We do not simply gather students as income: our training is for serious Reiki inquiries only.
