Meditation is deepening into clarity beyond the boundary of the body and the mind.

With so many spiritual traditions and schools teaching – and so many people practicing – meditation, you would think there’d be a consistent, solid understanding in how to meditate, as well as what the techniques and the goals are in meditation practice.  Sadly, in many places this is not the case today, and although the fundamentals and methods of meditation are at the core of every spiritual tradition, these practices have been largely overlooked or oversimplified, even though they are the very cornerstone to spiritual self-development.

This king of animals is certainly a perfect example of leadership.  It is roaring into your day to tell you that you can also now take a leadership position.  However, don’t be mystified by the fierce and wild nature by the fierce and wild nature of the Lion.  A real leader is not a mere dictator imposing his views on other people.  A real leader is a central point, a coordinator and a facilitator who understands the strengths and weaknesses of everyone.  He can then assign roles, depending on the skills of each individual, allowing everyone to express their unique talents.  Being a leader requires empathy, humility and common sense, as one always serves a greater cause than oneself.  You have all those qualities, so don’t be shy and accept now your full potential as a leader.

Ah, this Queen has come back for another visit!  Notice that she is seated near water?  This Queen is suggesting you spend time in or near water because it will be especially soothing, nurturing and nourishing for your spirit.  Water is also the metaphysical metaphor for the unconscious/subconscious mind, where intuition shapes your emotional state of being.  So, you could also tend towards being a bit moody, or even emotionally manipulative and maybe deceitful.  The flip side of feeling those ways is the choice to pay closer attention to your feelings and intuition by listening to your heart.  Today, choose to nurture feelings of compassion, kindness and mindfulness instead.
