It takes more than adorning yourself with cool amulets and wearing dark clothing to being an effective Witch. And it has nothing to do with the particular path you’ve taken – Wicca, Traditionalist, Eclectic, etc. The difference between productive and non-productive witchcraft is discipline and intent. Here are some questions each Witch should ask themselves.

1. Are you Healthy?
2. Are you prosperous? (Financial wealth)
3. Are you Happy?

Though many more questions could be added to this list, these are the fundamental layers associated with Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs.

Maslowstated that people are motivated to achieve certain needs and that some needs take precedence over others. Our most basic need is for physical survival, and this will be the first thing that motivates our behavior. Once that level is fulfilled the next level up is what motivates us, and so on.
