#SolitudeHeals

It is in the quiet times that we build our strengths and know we have something to rely on.

Solitude is not withdrawal into a place where no one and no sound can penetrate.

It is a sweet moment of peace with or without other people that lets us re-center and reset the rhythm of the mind, body and spirit.

It is wisdom to stay close to the solitude of nature to keep us young and pliable.

Cannabinoids for Chemotherapy-induced Nausea and Vomiting: Overview of Systematic Reviews

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarCrooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs

Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV), one of the most distressing chemotherapy-related adverse events (AEs), affects about 75% of patients undergoing chemotherapy. Antiemetic drugs are considered first-line treatments, while cannabinoids are considered an option to be used if other antiemetics fail. The cannabinoids used for CINV include tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and analogs of THC. The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the first synthetic cannabinoid as a prescription drug for the treatment of CINV in 1986. [Note: Dronabinol, synthetic THC (Marinol) was approved in 1986, not 1985 as the text states, as a schedule II drug. In 1999, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) transferred it from schedule II to schedule III. Non-synthetic THC (i.e., the kind in the plant) remains a DEA schedule I drug (no medical use).] In this overview, the authors summarize evidence from and critique the quality of published systematic reviews (SRs) of cannabinoids in CINV.

Spirituality | THE MYSTERY OF SPIRITUAL EVOLUTION, by Paramahansa Yogananda

Spiritual evolution is a mystic adventure – the adventure of raising consciousness. In this adventure, there is no chance or fortune because spiritual evolution is dynamic. It is in the existential flow and transcends fate. In short, to evolve spiritually is to overcome destiny and rewrite the future.

In the process of spiritual evolution, opposites based on the polarity principle become united. Through spiritual evolution, the clash of the opposites ends and the individual goes beyond the polarity principle. Because of this transcendence, internal conflicts come to an end and the individual attains peace.

Through the spiritual evolution, the individual turns towards beauty and escapes from the ugliness. Negativity is the reality of earthly life, but in the process of the spiritual evolution, everything negative starts to turn into positive because there is no place for negativity in absolute existence.

A person’s negativity can hinder his spiritual evolution. Because of the negative tendencies, the individual may deviate from the spiritual evolutionary path. This kind of deviation causes conflicts, pain, uneasiness, and chaos. The individual falls from the spiritually evolving cosmos to the chaos of decline.

The reason for the decline is the freedom to disobey the principles of the universe. When the individual abuses the absolute freedom that he has, he rebels against universal law and starts to decline. The only way to get rid of this declining is to evolve.

To choose the path of spiritual evolution, the individual has to taste the pains of downfall, because the one who does not know the pain of decline will not be able to know the value of spiritual evolution. Also, the one who does not know the decline cannot understand what spiritual evolving is. For that reason, only the ones who hit the floor of the decline will know the worth of the spiritual evolution.

Card of the Day – 9 of Wands – Sunday, March 17, 2019

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Do you listen to music to help you get through difficult tasks? There is no shortage of appropriate music for the 9 of Wands, ‘I Will Survive’, ‘I’m Still Standing’, and, the one which works best for today, ‘Eye of the Tiger’. Feel free to play it loud, so long as you are not disturbing anyone else.

Under today’s Leo Moon, it is more like the eye of the lion, making you fierce, determined, and persistent with its fiery energy. You may use this to help you power through a situation, even when you do not think you can do it. If you have felt as though any recent events have not only knocked the wind out of you, but perhaps even knocked you down, today, you can rise again, a little weary perhaps, but steadfast in seeing your changes come to life.

See you here tomorrow!

Scientists: “Put This In Your Home, It’s Like A Mousetrap For Mold Toxins”

I almost jumped out of the shower when I saw it.

In the corner, behind the shampoos, along the tile — black spots of mold, shooting out toxic spores into the air.

Suddenly it all made sense. I’d been experiencing headaches for a few weeks, and I normally never get headaches. My nose and sinuses were also stuffed up. It was the mold that was causing it, and I had to do something about it immediately.  […]

The Dust Has Settled, Time to Move Forward

Lisa Rising Berry's avatarRising Frequencies Blog By Lisa Rising Berry

Hello Everyone,

It’s been a little while since my last article.  A lot has been happening in my world. Like everyone else, I have been letting go of the old and bringing in the new.  Which will be a theme for this article today. I have started my Lama training, which has made my life very interesting.  This training also takes place in the astral and etheric as well, and it is really affecting my current physical body. I have been reading a book called “Daughter Of Fire”, which was written by Irina Tweedie.  It’s about her experiences while she was being trained by a Sufi Master. I have considered keeping a journal of my experiences while being trained in the Bon Tradition. There are not many, if any American female Bon Lama’s because it takes many years and the training is extensive.  I think people might want to know…

Busy Weekend Astrology

March 16

Mercury is the most active planet this weekend. Continuing to shuffle backwards from being in the heart of the Sun, to squaring Jupiter in Sagittarius on the 15th

Mercury Sextiles Pluto

This is a kind of a spiritual mental soul review. You could think of it as a Life flashing before your eyes review.

Moon is in Cancer its home sign

It’s sentimental, family oriented, stay home, cuddle up, call or visit your mom,.

Moon is also busy opposing Saturn sextile Mars in Taurus opposing Pluto all very earthy, Power struggles and stubbornness abound.

Moon trines Mercury Retrograde in Pisces in the wee hours.

You may be feeling very dreamy, old memories may have appeared through your dreams. You can stitch missing pieces of a puzzle together now.

Moon inconjuncts Jupiter in Sagittarius

It may be awkward and difficult to tell a family member the truth. Blood is…

Awesomely Saucy Cheese Enchiladas

Amelia @ CPM's avatarCook Plant Meditate

This is more of a technique than a recipe. It makes your enchiladas perfectly saucy. My family at every last one of these enchiladas at dinner.

Awesomely Saucy Cheese Enchiladas

Warm enchilada sauce on the stove top over very low heat. If the sauce is too hot, your tortillas will fall apart. Put corn tortillas into the sauce, flip. Coat each tortilla well.

Remove quickly. The tortillas just need to be warm for rolling. **If your corn tortillas aren’t warm, they will break apart when you roll your enchiladas.**

Roll enchiladas on a plate or board and add desired ingredients. Here, I used Tillamook Cheddar and Tillamook Monterey Jack (did you know that a lot of Tillamook cheeses are vegetarian? They don’t use animal rennet in the production process).

Place in a greased baking dish. Top with more sauce if desired (I like them saucy!), and some more cheese.

Bake…
