Icchāya bajjhatī loko.
Icchāvinayāya muccati.
Icchāya vippahānena
sabbaṃ chindati bandhanaṃ.

With desire the world is tied down.
With the subduing of desire it’s freed.
With the abandoning of desire
all bonds are cut through.

Having killed anger you sleep in ease.
Having killed anger you do not grieve.
The noble ones praise the slaying of anger
— with its honeyed crest & poison root —
for having killed it you do not grieve.

by one who commits a wrong-doing.

Can You Feel This Full Moon Energy?

Can you feel the Full Moon Energy?

The energies have been strong the past couple of days and especially with the 11:11 portal yesterday. I have had mystical and emotional dreams and at the same time felt deep grounding.

The Full Moon today helps us complete an emotional cycle related to Taurus which is the first earth sign. It is ruled by Venus and is our physical and tangible life which is grounded into earth and our senses. It is about physical pleasures and assets.

The opposite of Taurus is Scorpio which leaves the physical world and dives deep into the inner realms of our emotions, deep and mystical dimensions and karmic wounds. Sun is in Scorpio and reminding us to merge and unite our physical experience with the deeper and spiritual experience.

Mercury is retrograde and traveling very close to the Sun right now, which also highlights our thought patterns. The asteroid Vesta is conjunct the Moon and brings in energy of devotion and clarity. We are asked to also create a stable and patient relationship with our body and with Mother Earth.

These are the areas which affects your Sun/Ascendant at this Lunation:

Aries: physical and material matters as well as the body
Taurus: the Self
Gemini: Spiritual and hidden areas
Cancer: Friends, groups and organisations
Leo: Career and status
Virgo: Higher learning and long distance travel
Libra: Hidden areas and secrets/ loans and the psyche
Scorpio: relationships and partnerships
Sagittarius: Health and daily work/routine
Capricorn: Children and love
Aquarius: home and family
Pisces: communications

Happy Full Moon!

Na paro paraṃ nikubbetha

Let no one deceive another

or through anger or irritation
wish for another to suffer.

Reflections on Loneliness, with Matt Khan

“Loneliness is a bridge between feeling left out in the world and being one with all that is. When loneliness arises, it invites you to slow down and deeply experience exactly how it feels, without an interest in imagining what is missing from your life. While it may first seem like the heartbreak of personal despair, such feelings equally have the power to reveal an unsuspecting communion with your true eternal nature. It is here where nothing is actually needed for you to be happy, peaceful, and free. This is by far the most threatening realization any personal boundary may encounter, but the most liberating insight you were born to explore.”

“Loneliness isn’t a matter of feeling ignored or unsupported by others. It is noticing how infrequently you love yourself along the way. When loving yourself becomes a primary response to whatever transpires, the pain, despair and isolation of feeling alone blossoms into the grace and solitude of heartfelt relief.”

Although doctors maintain that flu shots are life-savers that everyone should receive, some researchers are uncovering hints that ‘serial vaccination’ — that is, consistently receiving annual flu shots — may in fact limit one’s ability to fight the virus in the future.  […]

Affirmations …

May every breath I breathe,
help relieve the suffering of the many.

May every step I take,
be on the path of truth.

May my eyes see myself
in all living beings.

May my heart do the work
that compassion demands.

May I feel every tear,
every hurt, every need.

May I touch with sacred hands.

May my body be a bridge,
and my spirit healing ointment.

May my words fall like rain
on the desert of need.

May I give without hesitation,
and without expectation.

May I grasp the hand that needs help,
and let go of all else.

May my life be both prayer,
and the much needed answer.

May my identity be both lost
and found in all living beings!

~ a Buddhist Prayer

for one has attained peace of mind.

Mushrooms, Mycology of Consciousness – Paul Stamets, EcoFarm Conference Keynote 2017

“Mycodiversity is our biosecurity. Let’s celebrate decomposition. Let’s let it rot.”

Paul Stamets, speaker, author, mycologist, medical researcher and entrepreneur, is considered an intellectual and industry leader in fungi habitat, medicinal use, and production. He lectures extensively to deepen your understanding and respect for the organisms that literally exist under every footstep you take on this path of life. His presentations cover a range of mushroom species and research showing how mushrooms can help the health of people and planet. His central premise is that habitats have immune systems, just like people, and mushrooms are cellular bridges between the two. Our close evolutionary relationship to fungi can be the basis for novel pairings in the microbiome that lead to greater sustainability and immune enhancement.
