Pāli Word a Day for July 23, 2020
sukhuma — that which is delicate, or that which is fine, subtle, minute

Yo ca mettaṃ bhāvayati
Appamāṇaṃ paṭissato
Tanū saṃyojanā honti,
Passato upadhikkhayaṃ.

For one who mindfully develops
Boundless loving-kindness
Seeing the destruction of clinging,
The fetters are worn away.

Itivuttaka 1.27
The Udāna and the Itivuttaka, trans. John D. Ireland
