This passionate Knight can be a bit of a gadabout, as he rushes here and there, in pursuit of his changes. He is indeed our Bringer of Change, but today, he may be a bit misdirected. It is through no fault of his own, for the Moon will be void-of-course for a very long time before making its way into Pisces late in the day.

So, how can you use the energy the Knight of Wands brings? It may seem counterintuitive to say to stay put, but the normal tendency of this fiery Knight to be blazing trails, is not one which would work in your best interest today. Separations and celebrations…we began this conversation yesterday with our 3 of Swords.  Out with the negative and in with the positive.  This back-to-back combo is urging you to release the pain in order to make room for the joy.  Yes, this card is all about celebrations, and the like, but you do not need to attend a party today to reap the benefits of this card.

Mr. Reliable…our Knight of Pentacles is pretty much the most predictable, routine card in the deck. Not a bad card for a Monday, he can help you make it to work in a punctual manner, put forth a consistent work product, and never do things in a haphazard fashion. Ok, so maybe he sounds a bit boring, and not very adventurous, but slow and steady wins the race, right?

Today, with the Sun newly in Taurus, and Uranus there for the next seven years, one might think this earthy Knight was the perfect vibe for kicking off your work week. Happy Saturday! The word of the day is conflict…so, I have a question for you? How are you dealing with yesterday’s Full Moon which occurred at 29° Libra? Bear in mind the Moon is now in intense Scorpio. Do you have a tendency to engage in every argument which comes your way? Or, do you do your best to avoid conflicts and find some sort of means to keep the peace and promote togetherness in your world? Today the Sun moves into Taurus, leaving Aries where it was exalted, and Venus leaves its comfy place in Pisces to move into Aries. The rose-colored glasses come off, and blunt words and actions may show themselves before the end of the day. Like I said…conflict.

Full Moon blessings, everyone! Today is the second of two Libra Full Moons, this one occurring at 29 , bringing to culmination issues regarding relationships and matters of justice. 29 is a karmic degree, as is our Judgement card a card of karma. This is a powerful, potent moment, a turning point, if you will, and it is important to note, most of you will actually be spending your day under a Scorpio Moon. Just like the Phoenix, under the Scorpio Moon, the Judgement card is indicative of a rebirth, a rising up, very appropriate for this holiest of days, Good Friday.

With the Judgement card, we very often see a separation of good and evil. There may be those who feel as though they are being raised up, and there may be those who feel as though the rug has just been pulled from under them. As I said…

One does not need look very far these days to find a group of protesters, people standing up for their beliefs, and their rights to have those beliefs. Today may not find you going off to hang with a local protest group, but, on a more personal level, seeking out those individuals who believe in you and your cause. It pays to have a few allies, and this is not a time to be wasting your energies on anyone who does not have your back.

Typically, I label the 7 of Wands the “I Won’t Back Down” card, a song immortalized by the late Tom Petty. What you want and believe matters, and you have every right to go for it. Can you say Pisces overload? The thick fog created when Mercury began its first retrograde of 2019 back on March 5 at 29° Pisces, can not dissipate fast enough. Mercury is still in Pisces, and in its shadow phase from the retrograde; we are coming off of yesterday’s conjunction with Neptune, which is also in Pisces. We currently have Venus there enjoying herself. The Moon, in that dark spot known as its balsamic phase, is also in Pisces today, before its New Moon which will occur in Aries on the 5th. Punctual. Reliable. Methodical. Our Knight of Pentacles is a steady, slow-moving character, at times so slow that he has become symbolic of the tortoise in the age-old fable, ‘The Tortoise and the Hare.’ One might say that taking the slow and steady approach is the safe route, and that being so consistent and reliable can earn you great rewards down the line.
