Card of the Day – 8 of Swords – Thursday, September 27, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Here it is again! The 8 of Swords holds the record for most appearances, I believe! However, in the last couple of weeks, both the cards and the energies present, have been pushing you to break out, whether it be a situation, or your comfort zone. As the day begins, you are still under the Aries Moon, where the Full Moon occurred, but it is void and will be moving into Taurus.

This is a card of feeling trapped, powerless, and not being able to see your way out of a situation. The answers exist, but it may require some thinking out of the box on your part. Truly the only thing that can stop you is you. If you get up every day believing that you can’t fix somethings, or that it will never change, then it never will. Release yourself from this mindset. This is a very mental…

Breeding Cannabis Chemovars for Patients Requiring Distinct Chemical Profiles for Optimum Efficacy

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarCrooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs

Proper exposition requires definition, certainly the case in the longstanding debate over cannabis (Cannabis sativa, Cannabaceae) speciation. Authors briefly introduce the ongoing dispute between followers of Fuchs (1542 CE) and Linnaeus (1753) and those of Lamarck (1783) and Schultes (1974). Lamarck described the putative “C. indica” and has been followed by proposed “compromise” naming like “C. afghanica,’ “C. ruderalis,” etc. If one holds that a species includes all plants capable of reproduction with each other, there is no debate. Cannabis is quite variable in height, branch density, leaf width, seed size, organoleptic and chemical traits, but all cannabis plants can interbreed. Nonetheless, “Sativa” and “Indica,” especially, have entered the popular lexicon, used even in medical cannabis dispensaries to denote the reputed differences in effect. A plethora of “strain” names – more properly varieties or cultivars, despite the illegality of the plant in…

Card of the Day – Temperance – Wednesday, September 26, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

This card always seems to have a way of showing up at the precise moment necessary. We are still under the influence of the powerful Aries Full Moon, and today, the Aries Moon will be squaring off with Pluto, a rather moody aspect, and for most of your day it will also be void-of-course. The Aries Moon resembles anything but the Temperance card, rather quite the opposite.

Temperance is here to remind us to be patient, mostly with ourselves, and to seek the balance from within, which is needed in the day-to-day grind. It is possibly showing here, a focus, all too in one direction, as Aries tends to be impulsive and rushing headlong into things, thus forgetting everything else. Temperance preaches moderation, so today could feel like a test of you trying to remain balanced in your behavior, while Aries is trying to distract you with one particular thing…

Magnesium, NOT Calcium, Is Actually The Key To Healthy Bones – Healthy Food House

Researchers have shown that calcium alone is not enough for strong bones, and the daily intake of magnesium might actually be the key to healthy bones. The magnesium expert Dr. Guy Abraham says: “Considering that 99% of the total body calcium is located in the bones, it is not surprising that academic proponents of high […]

Card of the Day – The World – Tuesday, September 25, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

img_6153

This is our third major arcana card in a row. The World card is often thought of as the final card of the major arcana, representing completion. Sometimes I like to refer to this as the Finish Line, but with a reminder that at every Finish Line, there is another Starting Line. So, what it boils down to is that the World card tends to be all about cycles, and the cycles of life itself.

We always have all types of cycles occurring for us, and around us. In the last couple of days, we have seen energies shift, as cycles changed, brought to us courtesy of the Autumn/Spring Equinox, the Sun’s entrance into Libra, and the Full Moon in Aries, just to name a few. This particular cycle, or if you prefer to think of opening and closing doors, is all about you finding that path that leads to…

Pisces dreaming big

Tara Greene www.taratarot.com's avatarTara Greene,Tarot,Astrology,Psychic

Hi I’ve been on the road. Had a beautiful deep Autumn equinox ceremony in my friend Maureen Walton’s beautiful moon lodge/yurt. We sat in the wombspace  there was 5 of us in total doing a ceremony and dreaming in the dark wide awake for about two and a half hours.

The dreamy energy continues today Sept. 23

as PISCES MOON trined romantic venus in Scorpio

this energy is extremely psychic, soulful, intense and obsessive.

Sun opposed Chiron in Aries exact today

Our wounds and vulnerabilities are easily seen today. No hiding.  we are all feeling vulnerable and wounded but can heal ourselves through loving ourselves. This makes us very sensitive to relationship and worldly imbalances and injustice in the world.

Learning to love ourselves without the mirror of the other is a prime issue. We are all struggling with this. Sara Sophia Eisenman pointed this out on FB today and she…

Card of the Day – The Emperor – Monday, September 24, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

img_6152

Full Moon blessings to all! Today is the Full Moon in Aries, and our Emperor card is here today to say not so fast. The energy of this card, whether it represents a person, a situation, or some form of governing body, often tends to impose a sense of rigidity. There is a great deal of stability in that which is tried, true, and traditional, but your mood as of late has been one of breakout mode, so this guy may feel like a bit of a party pooper.

Whenever we have Full or New Moons, we always need to ask the question, “What is going on at the time of this New or Full Moon?” Seeing the Emperor show up with his inflexible demeanor may have you pointing a finger at taskmaster Saturn, and you would be absolutely right. There will be a nasty square going on, and I…

Little though one recites the sacred texts,
but puts the Teaching into practice,

with true wisdom and emancipated mind,
clinging to nothing of this or any other world —
one indeed partakes of the blessings of a holy life.

Card of the Day – 7 of Wands – Sunday, September 23, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

You have come too far to turn back now. Remember, what you choose to do is your business, the opinions of others truly do not matter. Perhaps with yesterday’s Fool card you actually did choose to do something a bit more spontaneous and throw caution to the wind. If people are convening to criticize you for doing so, pay them no mind. They are either with you, or they are against you, but there is no reason for you to give an inch and concede.

The 7 of Wands is my Tom Petty card. ‘I Won’t Back Down’ pretty much sums it all up, and the perseverance which is necessary, in spite of the odds, is what ultimately leads one to success. Life can be like a game of Tug-of-War at times, with you feeling as though you are one end of the rope, and everyone else is at the…

Card of the Day – The Fool – Saturday, September 22, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Have you been trying to break out, break free, and have a fresh start? Let the Fool lead the way. Just like a small child has not learned fear, has not become jaded by life, so too does the Fool have a carefree attitude.

Today may be a day where you simply decide to go for it, throwing caution to the wind, and letting the chips fall where they may. Adventure awaits, if you only dare to take that leap.

See you here tomorrow!

2018 Aries Full Moon in Phoenix Month

Susan Levitt's avatarSusan Levitt

autumn leaves

September 22 2018 is Autumn Equinox, equal day and equal night, a time for balance as the seasonal wheel turns. September 24 is the Harvest Moon, the full Moon that’s closest to Autumn Equinox. This Harvest Moon is in Fire sign Aries, bringing energy and vitality. Aries inspires action, and an independent spirit, during this full Moon and as this lunar cycle wanes.

The full Moon, Sun, and Mercury are all in harmonious aspects to Mars, newly in Aquarius. Mars brings courage, self reliance, and stamina. It’s fortunate to engage in physical activity to strengthen the mind and spirit, as well as the body. It’s also a good time to examine motivations, and decide what projects to forward or to complete. Contact me for your tarot consultation about choices and direction.

The full Moon, Sun, and Mercury square Saturn to slow down and be thorough. Attention to details is important…

That is truly the supreme bliss.

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarCrooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs

The Bacopa monniera herb, also known as Brahmi, has been used as a traditional Ayurvedic treatment for mental issues, epilepsy, and asthma. In fact, its documented medicinal uses can be traced back to the 6th century A.D.

A classic brain and nerve tonic, Bacopa is a medicinal herb that has been used effectively for several thousand years as a brain and nervous system restorer. The herb is known to increase mental clarity and promote improved memory and intelligence. It also assists in heightening mental acuity and supports the physiological processes involved in relaxation. In other words, it can keep you feeling relaxed while also boosting mental clarity, your focus, and mood. In fact, Bacopa is thought to help nourish neurons as it restores depleted synaptic activity.

Good morning and Happy Saturday, People. In speech is life, in speech is death. In ancient Hawai’i, a kahuna ‘ana’ana could pray someone to death or counter another’s death prayer. The saying tells the Hawaiians that words can either be a source for healing or destroying and so we need to be careful with our words. Peace be with you.

Card of the Day – 6 of Wands – Friday, September 21, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

All I can say is it is about time! You have been trying and trying, have been in breakout mode for a little bit now, and, just like the figure in the image, today you get over one of those hurdles. Honestly, this is exactly what your self confidence ordered. This is a card of victory, and, when achieved, it sure does feel good to strut your stuff and say “Look what I just did!”. After all, this has been a bit of an obstacle course, and there are obviously more hurdles to be encountered.

The 6 of Wands brings the type of success where others recognize your efforts and praise you for your accomplishments. A pat on the back, an “attaboy”, perhaps even your fifteen minutes of fame, any, and all are possible. You know that feeling when you are lagging behind in the race, and suddenly you gain…
