It’s 1:11 in a #11 MASTER NUMBER YEAR!

1:11 Master Number Meaning and Meditation

Seeing 11:11 on clocks signs addresses and more repeatedly is a worldwide phenomenon which according to many sites on the net means its a sign to make a wish. A very nice sentiment but really not all about what the true meaning of the double Master number is.

11 is a MASTER Number. Here we are in a #11 year. To see 11:11 has only made possible since LED display digital clocks became popular in the 1980’s. We began to see time in a new and different way instead of circular, sun-wise nature-based observations. Numbers are symbols. The Kabbalah is based on numbers as vibrations called Gematria. The ancient Greek mathematicians like Pythagoras taught that numbers are the essence and source of all things.

The 11:11 phenomenon is a metaphorical digital trigger code. All doubled numbers…

Quantum Computing Enters 2018 Like It Is 1968

Today’s quantum computing landscape looks a lot like the semiconductor landscape 50 years ago.

“The silicon-based integrated circuit (IC) transistor count ballooned from ten transistors on a chip to hundreds of transistors on a chip within a few short years. After a while, there were thousands, then tens of thousands, and now we have, tens of billions.”

Pāli Word a Day for January 11, 2018  —  bhāvetabbā — should be cultivated

Kāmaṃ kāmayamānassa,
tassa ce taṃ samijjhati, addhā pītimano hoti.
Laddhā macco yadicchati.
Tassa ce — kāmayānassa, chandajātassa — jantuno
te kāmā parihāyanti,
sallaviddhova ruppati.

If one, longing for sensual pleasure,
achieves it, yes, one’s enraptured at heart.
The mortal gets what one wants.
But if for that person — longing, desiring —
the pleasures diminish,
one’s shattered, as if shot with an arrow.

Luxurious Homemade Calendula-Infused Body Butter

pathwaysandpotions's avatarPathways and Potions

I’ve been experimenting with different recipes for homemade natural body products, and I’ve concocted a body butter recipe that I’m especially proud of.  I gave away jars of it to friends and family, and within weeks, they were returning the jars and asking for more!  It smells wonderful, has a lovely whipped texture similar to whipped butter, and it works especially well on very dry or irritated skin.  Perfect for this time of year!

There are only five ingredients in this butter, all of them healing and known to be highly beneficial to the skin.  I’ve spent a lot of money buying a lot of products over the years, and I can honestly say that this is one of my favorite body lotions ever…and it contains nothing harmful or synthetic.

I made my most recent batch with my finally-ready calendula oils and I’m loving it even more!  (Read about the…

Why Magick may not work

Eris Ilmirith's avatarEris Ilmirith

You have read the spell, gathered all the ingredients, even memorised the words and the steps. You have watched for the proper time and day, even paid attention to the Planets positions. You have put everything on the spell, really everything, but! It hasn’t worked…No signs, no results, no…nothing! Why has this happened? Is it the spell or you? Have you done something wrong? Let’s take things from the beginning and see some truths…

First of all, magick works every time! It really does! There are points that can make it work more slowly than expected, things that can put boundaries, but it is sure to work every time! There are some questions you have to consider when a spell doesn’t work…

  1. Clear intentions: Intention in magick is the A and Ω of everything. Clear up your mind, think of what you need exactly, find the correct exact words…

Witchen Witchy Wednesday – Making Magickal Ink

the magickal cottage's avatarThe Magickal Cottage

403E09C1-22B7-4F44-8B7B-A1FD7BE5A83B

We chose to start off 2018 with our January WWW making magickal ink. Why magickal ink? Well, there are many uses for this lovely tool of communication! Among those uses might be to mark your magickal tools, to write spells and petitions, to draw sigils, and, of course, to record information in your Book of Shadows.

We were really only able to scratch the surface on this wondrous topic, and although there are many types of magickal ink, we decided to make 3 kinds in our workshop: invisible ink, lampblack ink and dragon’s blood ink.

Sometimes a witch might want to write a secret message that would remain invisible until revealed at the chosen time. Citrus juice and milk are two different common liquids that can serve in this way. We used lemon juice. With a quill pen or paint brush all we needed to do was to write our…

Card of the Day – Page of Swords – Wednesday, January 10, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

For everyone out there who has been chomping at the bit to move forward, this is your day! Trickster Mercury leaves shadow today, and spends the rest of today in the sign of Sagittarius at the last degree, before moving on into the sign of Capricorn tomorrow. It is highly possible that you have been feeling the restless mental energy of the Page of Swords, and have felt a bit like a yo-yo, perhaps questioning if you should dive headlong into something new.

We are still six days out from the New Moon in Capricorn, so, while you may have marked your calendar to launch a new project on that day, now seems to be the time to get moving in order to be ready. Normally, with this Page, I would caution as to the impulsivity of your actions, but, today seems to be a good time to put all…

Card of the Day – Ace of Cups – Tuesday, January 9, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

This is pretty much my favorite card. It represents love and so much more, emotional fulfillment, success, new beginnings, unconditional love, and marriage. Today, I think we should focus on the success and new beginnings, as so many of you are experiencing these things at this time.

As you know, there are zero retrograde planets, and, of course, tomorrow, Mercury will leave shadow. This Ace of Cups is basically another green light of the Universe, offering you something else you need to create the life you want. Venus is going strong this week, adding to all of the planetary goodness we have been feeling since the conjunction of Jupiter and Mars. Venus will be in cazimi with the Sun and that should definitely aid in warming your heartspace.

There will be a fairly lengthy void-of-course Moon, until afternoon, when it will move on into passionate Scorpio. That still leaves plenty…

Featured Card of the Day – Knight of Cups – 78 Tarot Astral ~ Tarot in Space

Fairytale Knight, romance, idealism

Artist Interpretation

My version of the Knight of Cups for 78 Tarot Astral was based off of the Rider Waite version of the card. The winged helmet is a symbol of creativity and imagination. The white steed symbolizes purity and evokes a sense of calmness and ease, as well as power and initiative. The red fish swirling around the figure act as a cape, a symbol of creativity and consciousness. This is reflected in the liquid offered in the knight’s cup. The palette consists of warm reds, pinks, purples, and oranges to suggest a romantic mood to the piece, as well as to give the impression of an alien atmosphere. I’ve also added dual moons in the sky, alluding to the romantic nature of this card. The knight is gazing at the viewer with a wry smile. He is charming…
