Affirmations

FAILURE-SUCCESS

Even failure contains positive elements. I look for the positive in everything I do. When I make missteps and still accomplish what I set my mind to, the path to achieving my goals is enhanced.

Success is sweeter when I taste failure along the way.

I know that completing a simple task is less rewarding than overcoming a difficult challenge. Testing the limits of my abilities is essential to self-improvement.

I often wonder if I would truly know the joy success brings if I always succeeded.

Making a mistake often results in learning something new. I embrace my mistakes. Sometimes I learn more about the process of my task or my approach, and other times I discover something about myself.

Failing reinforces the positive character traits that I continuously seek to improve. Through failure, I identify my ability to be resilient. It enables me to practice being accountable.

I develop stronger bonds with others because I am perceived as both humble and trustworthy.

Today, I perceive my mistakes as part of my growth and development. I enjoy trial and error because it enables me to understand how and why some practices succeed while others have limited success. I use my mistakes as teaching tools for myself and those around me.

Self-Reflection Questions:

1. What is the biggest mistake I have made, and what did I learn from it?
2. Does success exist without failure?
3. How can my mistakes help others?

Peace For Our World ~ November 28, 2015

BANNER-LAW-OF-TIME2

“Where there is Peace, there is Culture. Where there is Culture, there is Peace.” ~Nicholas Roerich~

With the purpose of pacifying the war on Consciousness that Humanity is now enduring, and In Light of the recent escalation of acts of violence and their potential significance for the planet, the Foundation for the Law of Time invites everyone on Earth to join the Global Banner of Peace Meditation “ANTENNAS RADIATE PEACE TO THE WORLD”, this coming November 28, 2015 (NS1.28.5.14~KIN 239 5Storm ~ 19.5). On this day monuments dedicated all over the world to the Banner of the Peace as well as more than 3,200 flags/Banners of Peace will turn into ANTENNAS RADIATING PEACE TO THE WORLD.

On this day monuments dedicated all over the world to the Banner of the Peace as well as more than 3,200 flags/Banners of Peace will turn into ANTENNAS RADIATING PEACE TO THE WORLD.

“This distinctive banner has three red circles within a greater circle in a white flag. The flag’s color us a dark red or magenta to symbolize the color of our blood, which is the same for all people. The upper circle represents spirituality, which unifies the truth of all religions, that we can all join no matter what our beliefs are. The two inferior circles represent art and science. The circle surrounding the three circles represent culture, the unification of art, science and spirituality. Since then, the Banner of Peace has been praised by various notable such as Albert Einstein, George Bernard Shaw and H.G. Wells.”

It was the visionary artist and mystic Nicholas Roerich along with his wife Helena, who, inspired by the devastating effects of World War I, introduced to the world the Banner of Peace as a universal symbol and emblem to represent the wish of humanity to raise above war, inaugurating the first people’s world peace movement, Pax Cultura, “Peace through Culture Movement”, in the late 1920’s. . Using the Banner of Peace as its official symbol, the Pax Cultura Movement accomplished the signing of the Roerich Peace Pact of 1935, establishing culture as the true basis of peace. The Banner of Peace does not belong then to any country, creed or group… It is also the official instrument of the 13 Moon calendar change peace movement. This banner has been flown globally, as a sign of peace through culture, since 1930, and even orbited our planet 144 TIMES on a Russian spacecraft, becoming the FIRST MESSAGE OF PEACE OUTSIDE THE CONFINES OF THE EARTH.

The year 2015 marks the 80th anniversary of the signing of the Roerich Peace Pact “The history of international treaties shows us how many of them were relevant and applicable to the times in which they were signed, but then lapsed into irrelevance. The Roerich Pact, however, has kept its heart and its life, and is linked to the needs of today’s chaotic world as much as ever. In so many countries we see a deterioration of cultural values and a disregard for the right of all cultural treasures to have their own continued existence, forever protected and unimpeded. We see destruction of life, property, and the inheritance of the creative genius of the nations…”

This globally synchronized event is organized by Dra. Alicia Rodriguez, President of the Banner of Peace International Committee, who has delivered these flags to many parts of the world including United States, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Spain, India, Lithuania, Russia and Argentina. As a child, Dra Rodríguez herself endured war in Europe with her family, becoming a war refugee, and this experience inspired her to take this Banner all over the world for more than 20 years…

The day will begin by raising all monumental Banners of Peace around the world in the following cities:

“UNITED THROUGH THE BANNER OF PEACE TO ACHIEVE A BETTER WORLD”
~Dr. Alicia Rodriguez ~ President of the Banner of Peace International Committee

“In consideration of the current lack of Peace in the world as well as the general confusion in human relations and the uncertainty and emotional instability that plague virtually every human on Earth today, there is no question that the number one problem affecting the planet is the human inability to control the mind. And where does war begin? In a thought the mind could not control. Can meditation really make a difference? If everyone on Earth truly practiced mindfulness, there would be no war.”

~ Stephanie South, Creative Director
Foundation for the Law of Time

Be part of this Peace Re-Evolution by gathering with your community, bringing your banner to monuments and cultural sites AND send your intentions for Global Peace. Health ~ The Benefits of Oxygen Therapy

oxygen

If there was actually a way to “Disease Proof” your body would you be interested?

Turns out there is, but first you have to understand a little bit about how your body works.

As you read this there are thousands of metabolic processes going on inside you. Your heart is beating, your skin is growing and the food in your stomach is being turned into energy.

These are known as oxidative processes because they take place using oxygen.

Now, the problem is that these processes have by-products which are known as free radicals.

And it is a well-known fact that these free radicals have a damaging effect on your body.

In fact, there is a theory which states almost all disease (Including aging) is caused by free radicals.

What happens is that they actually damage the walls of your cells, which allows bacteria and viruses to enter.

Luckily, there is a way to stop this…

And that is with oxygen.

You see, if you flood your bloodstream with oxygen, it acts as a kind of sluice that washes the free radicals out of your body.

And guess what?

Oxygen therapy is proven to help with thousands of crippling medical conditions.

I’m talking about things like:

Chronic fatigue syndrome … indigestion … blood clots … obesity … tumours … clogged arteries … ADHD … dementia … AIDS … arthritis … diabetes … Alzheimer’s … yeast infections … aging … pneumonia …

Asthma … respiratory distress syndrome (just ask David)… cystic fibrosis … sleep apnea … acne … insomnia plus it stimulates your white blood cell production, which boosts your immune system and fights off disease and viruses.

Wow!

I wish I was exaggerating but I’m not…

Even better, there’s now a brand new supplement on the market that can deliver high doses of oxygen into your bloodstream.

And what’s great about this supplement is that it comes in liquid form.

All you need to do is put a few drops in your tea or coffee and you’ll virtually disease proof your body…for life!

And you need to, because the reality is that the list of serious diseases I mentioned above…can happen to anyone.

Which is why everyone should be using this oxygen supplement …

10 Rare But Useful Words Everyone Should Know

InterestingLiterature's avatarInteresting Literature

Is there a word for that? Here are ten of the best useful rare words in the English language

Ever caught yourself thinking, ‘There should be a word for that. Is there a word for that?’ We’re here to help. In this new post, we’ve gathered up ten useful words which should be better known, but aren’t. Many of them, of course, have literary origins or histories, which we’ll mention and discuss as we go.

UHTCEARE: This highly useful word means ‘lying awake before dawn worrying’. It appears in the Anglo-Saxon poem ‘The Wife’s Lament’, and has recently become more widely known thanks to Mark Forsyth, who includes it in his book The Horologicon.

QUAKE-BUTTOCK: This is another term for a coward, and appears in the plays of seventeenth-century playwrights Beaumont and Fletcher. We reckon it should be revived.

Reflection for November 18, 2015: pure Beatitude.

FRATER BIA's avatarPrayers and Reflections

The reason why peace of soul is the “most elementary trace”of this holy slumber, induced by prayer, is that “prayer places us in the presence of God, Who is pure Beatitude.” To pray is to give oneself to God; and since God is pure Beatitude, prayer itself is already something of this Beatitude, whether the person praying is conscious of it or not. The awareness of what prayer is, and of what God is, imparts to the very act of prayer the capacity to bestow peace on the soul. Once this peace is “tasted,”and the sense of the sacred is awoken, with the heart rendered receptive to the presence of God—then does metaphysical doctrine begin to take root in our being, conviction deepens into certitude, the “obscure merit of faith” begins to give way to the ineffable verities of gnosis.

Neptune’s Influence On The Rise

Neptune

Tomorrow Neptune turns direct at 11:31 AM EST.  Neptune is the planet of illusions, dreams, escapism, and psychic energy.  When it goes retrograde, it gives us an opportunity to connect with our inner voice.  The vibe is dreamy + fluid in Pisces – you may have felt that way the last few months.  As it turns direct, it’s time to get out of our navel-gazing mode and do a reality check.  Any illusions that you may have been holding on to may evaporate, leaving you with greater clarity. In fact, if you’ve felt a bit foggy on any issue, you might just see the way forward emerging over the next few days.
On the 26th, pay close attention: Neptune will begin making a square to transiting Saturn and so begins a challenging aspect that will float around in the cosmos for the next year.  Got a dream? This is where the rubber meets the road. If you want to see results, you must do the work for Saturn gives nothing away without serious effort. Disappointments are possible, especially if you are being unrealistic about the effort needed.  Examine your goals carefully and be prepared to get to work, for real.
This aspect can also trigger addiction issues BUT it can help face the music and do a major turnaround.  If you or someone you know is engaging in addictive behavior (not just drugs, alcohol or codependent relationships but addictive mindsets such as fear of failure), this aspect could bring the reality check needed to begin working through the issue.  This is the right time to come clean.
Take responsibility for your work, your intuition, and your habits and you may find that your dreams can come true…with a little more effort.

When choosing a doctor, be sure to find one that not only listens to your concerns, but also seems to genuinely cares about your welfare.

Rain-elephant

The term ‘bedside manner’ has long been used to describe a doctor’s ability to connect and empathize with a patient. According to recent studies, the importance of good bedside manners is becoming more and more critical, as patients whose doctors listen and demonstrate an understanding of their concerns not only are more satisfied with their treatment, but also enjoy better health.

Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another and feeling with the heart of another.
