I’am also pro-home remedies with any sort of injury. I hurt my lower back in the gym and got sciatica. It was terrible. After a few consultations with my doctor, he recommended a medical pain block. A medical pain block is when they inject your back with an anti inflammatory liquid to relief swelling of the bulge that presses against the sciatic nerve. This didn’t relieve pain at first, but it was only after about a month of rehabilitation exercises and waiting that I managed to recover. The home remedies helped to speed up my recovery and provide relief when the pain was to bad.
