The Buddhic Mind

If I am meeting life with resistance, I need to change what I’m thinking and ask myself, “What do I need right now to be at peace with myself?”
The answer can be very simple.
Initiation Rites…. Soul Cleansing… Rites of Passage…
The greatest step towards rediscovering my soul, was the day that I decided to hand in my resignation…. Little did I know that the process would lead me to rediscover aspect of myself that I had lost in veils and mists of time….
With this abilities and talents started to emerge, which I had always dreamt of having but never OWNED.
I remember reading books on Edgar Cayce, and marvelling at his ability to read soul records while asleep. Little would I know that I had the same latent abilities, but hidden and unexplored, mainly because of being brought up in a very conservative family, where one simply did not discuss such things….
In the process of rediscovering and reconnecting with my soul, I have had to shed lots of skins of my previous self… that self that had formed from my childhood, into puberty and then, into adulthood.

Tarot Contemplation – Ten of Swords

It’s time to admit that something is over. It’s time to let it go. Stop thinking about it. Stop talking about it. There’s no need to get in the last word. Let it go and move on. If you don’t you’ll only be dragging out your own suffering. Something new is awaiting you! Create space to let it in.
Shamanic Animal Appearing … Elephant (resoluteness)

The Elephant is certainly a strong creature/ But even bigger than its strength is its steadiness. Yes, the Elephant can charge and hit hard. But, it overcomes obstacles thanks to its resoluteness and determination. This is the message this spirit is delivering now: Be determined and keep a steady pace Not too fast, not too slow. See it as a formidable force, which is unstoppable. Like an avalanche, no obstacle can resist it. If you are facing a daunting challenge, even if you are tired, don’t get discouraged. By going forward, one step at a time, you will go through it successfully. And you may even learn a thing or two in the process, as the Elephant is also a very wise being.

Tarot Contemplation – Six of Swords

This is a great time for travel of any sort. It also can indicate metaphorical movement, a change in where you are inwardly. Usually this is a change for the better, whether the context is internal or external. Think about where you want to be. Generally, the 6 shows at least a slight reduction in stress and strain. Things may not be perfect, but they are going to be better than they may have been in the recent past. Take this time to get your head above water and decide where you’re going from here. Even a short break or change of scenery will be helpful. This doesn’t have to cost money. You may make the decision, or be in the process of, leaving a job that no longer works for you. Trust that the universe is taking you to where you want to be, an that all this is happening for a reason. Don’t hesitate to ask for help, or to seek new information, as you are getting your bearings in your new environment. The 6 can also point to a literal change in the place where you do business. This is a good thing.

Hau’oli lā Po’akolu
Aloha kakahiaka a me Hau’oli lā Po’akolu. I lā āwaiwa nou oukou. O ka maluhia no me ‘oe.Tarot Contemplation – King of Wands (rev.)

When the King of Wands appears reversed, it indicates that you r someone around you is having trouble with authenticity. It could be that you are having trouble knowing what you truly want, or who you want to be. You could be doing things that don’t feel aligned with your authentic self. Someone else may seem like a phoney to you. You may come across someone who is a real charmer, but does not follow up on his or her promises. You may be using authenticity as an excuse to do what you want. You, or someone around you, may have an attitude that says, “I am who I am, and if you don’t like it, I don’t give a damn.” Though it is important to follow our inner light, doing so with lack of consideration may be ill advised. This reversed King could also be a warning against risky behavior, such as gambling with your financial security or physical safety. Ask yourself if you could survive the worst-case outcome of the risk you’re taking. If not, a change of plans may be in order.

La’au Lapa’au: Plants in Mythology – Myth Encyclopedia – Greek, god, story, legend, names, ancient, tree, snake, norse, world, Chinese
In many cases, human life ends with death and burial in the ground. Plants are just the opposite. They emerge from the earth and draw nourishment from it. For this reason, many mythological traditions associate plants with birth or rebirth and with the eternal cycle of life springing forth from death.
The magical plant or herb of immortality sought by Gilgamesh, the hero of ancient Mesopotamian mythology, provides one example of how myths use plants as symbols of life and of the healing power of nature. However, because some plants yield poisons and some die in winter, plants can also represent death and decay.
Various trees, shrubs, herbs, grains, flowers, and fruit appear in myths and legends as general symbols of rebirth, decay, and immortality. Some plants have acquired much more specific meaning in folklore. […]
