Sukhā matteyyatā loke,
atho petteyyatā sukhā,
sukhā sāmaññatā loke,
atho brahmaññatā sukhā.

In this world, good it is to serve one’s mother,
good it is to serve one’s father,
good it is to serve the monks and nuns,
and good it is to serve the holy ones.
