Though all one’s life a fool associates with a wise person,
one no more comprehends the Truth

Card of the Day – Ace of Swords – Saturday, April 14, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Success! Victory! Clarity! Breakthroughs! These are just a few ways you can see this Ace materialize for you today. If you apply it to an area of your life where you have been working to regain your power, then this is your Ace, and you can do very well with it. This feels like one of those moments when you hear yourself saying “nailed it!”, because this success which is at your disposal is a precise form of success.

There is also a very good possibility that even though this is Saturday, you may see some form of divine justice being served. Living the truth is extremely important, and I believe the truth is meant to prevail. Bear in mind that today is the second of three sextiles between Jupiter and Pluto, bringing in some major mojo for you to transform your life and take back your power in a…

Card of the Day – Knight of Cups – Friday, April 13, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

The Knight of Cups is the hopeless romantic of the Tarot, and known to be a bit of a daydreamer. Very often, when people see this card turn up, they think of it as love coming their way, but this guy has a tendency to meander and does not often take a direct route. So, know that, if you are waiting for love to find you, it is out there, but, apparently taking a few twists and turns along the way.

We have seen Death (endings), the Empress (beginnings), and now the Knight of Cups, so this week is giving a feel of moving right along toward your hopes and dreams. As I said above, this Knight takes his time, not as the meticulous Knight of Pentacles would, but in such a way that he often becomes distracted in his pursuit of his desires. You will arrive where intended when…

NEW MOON in ARIES

April 15 2018 is a new Moon in Fire sign Aries. The new Moon, Sun, and Uranus are all in Aries making this lunar cycle the time for positive change and a fresh beginning.

This lunar month is excellent to start or launch an idea, product, or business. You can change your routine to clear limitations, and find or refine a form of self expression. Mercury is no longer retrograde for ease with technology, communication, and travel.

Venus in sensual Taurus trines Mars and Pluto for romance, and is favorable for all kinds of social and artistic activities. New relationships are lucky, and for those in a partnership this lunar month is ideal for a second honeymoon. Now can be a very productive time that sets a foundation for future development.

Handmade Soaps | Agave Lime

Jennifer's avatarJennifer's Handmade Soap

Yum!  I’m a citrus girl.  So, I am naturally pulled toward these scents, but this one is definitely finding a home in my shower!  I love the design of this one.  It too was nothing like what I had planned, but I realized as I was making it I was gonna have to kind of go by the seat of my pants as the fragrance started to thicken my soap.  Thick soap usually makes for decent hanger swirls and so I gave it a shot and it paid off.

The fragrance is a shimmering citrus blend of high concentrations of the following essential oils:  lime, lemon, and orange creates an effervescent top note for this exotic scent, while accents of liquid ozone add a refreshing highlight.  Tropical floral notes and exotic agave greens balance at the heart of the fragrance.  Clear musk and rich sandalwood form a soft background for this highly…

Sabhaggato vā parisaggato vā

Having entered a royal court or a company of people
one should not speak lies.
One should not speak lies (oneself) nor incite others to do so.
One should completely avoid falsehood.

Recipe for Dragon Dust

dragonsoulmagic's avatarDragonSoul Magic

The main ingredient of Dragon Dust is Dragons Blood. Dragon’s blood is a bright red resin that is obtained from different species of a number of distinct plant genera: Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops, Calamus rotang and Pterocarpus. However, the most common species to obtain the resin from is Dracaena cinnabari, otherwise known as the Dragon’s Blood Tree.

Some uses for Dragon’s Blood:

When burnt, Dragon’s Blood creates a strong herbal and spicy fragrance. It is traditionally used in Indian ceremonies to get rid of negative energies and spirits and is regarded as having cleansing properties. It’s also calming, and some believe it has aphrodisiacal properties, too, especially if you leave a piece under your mattress.

It is used as a coloring matter for varnishes, tooth-pastes, tinctures, plasters, for dyeing horn to imitate tortoiseshell, etc.

Medicinal: The resin of Dragon’s Blood is used externally as a wash to promote healing and stop…

Celtic Lore | Dragon Runes

dragonsoulmagic's avatarDragonSoul Magic

In Dragon Magic, one form of divination are the Dragon Runes (aka Druatch Runes). They were envisioned and created by Isedon Goldwing in April 2001. Isedon said they were “a set that I have come across through re-memory/trance/channeling/whatever you want to call it…”

The Druatch language that the names for the runes come from, is based on memories from others who have the past experiences of dragons as well, by finding the words appropriate to the idea behind the rune, the names were created, through continuing meditation and assigned appropriately.

I plan on making a set for myself using wood circles and burning the images onto each piece.  I feel that using something that is natural to make my runes would connect me better to them.  You could also use your favorite stones!

Please assist me in understanding the wisdom you have to offer humanity and to use this information wisely. I ask that you guide me and protect me along my soul journey (if there is anything specific you want the Dragons to help you with you can state it here). Thank you for your bright blessings. Blessed Be.”

Pohaku La’au | Crystals for Beginners

shelbyveggie's avatar

In a crystal we have clear evidence of the existence of a formative life principle, and though we cannot understand the life of a crystal, it is nonetheless a living being.” -Nikola Tesla

img_0753 My personal collection of stones! I have many smaller palm stones as well, but I typically keep them scattered and in different places depending on how I’m feeling.

So you’re giving into the hype and you want to know what this whole crystal thing is all about. I don’t blame you! They make for beautiful decor and they’re something tangible that you can refer to for specific feelings, ailments, or imbalances. Don’t let people make you think that crystals are for witches or people who worship satan…. because those things have absolutely nothing to do with crystals in the slightest. People of all religions, beliefs, and ages can use crystals in their every day lives.
