Card of the Day – Death – Sunday, October 14, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Such great timing for this card! The Death card is always a welcome sight here; it is not to be feared. Death and Scorpio go hand-in-hand. Currently, we have Jupiter, which has been in Scorpio since October 10, 2017, nearing the end of its time here, as it approaches to enter Sagittarius on November 8. Jupiter is expansive and Scorpio is transformative, just like the Death card. You have the ability now to really change your life, starting within yourself.

Venus, which is retrograde in Scorpio, is here to bring much-needed changes to relationships, partnerships, financial situations, and even health/beauty issues. In this case, review of what has been going on will aid you in your transition to become a better version of you. Also, in Scorpio right now, is Mercury; Scorpio is the great detective, the speaker and seeker of truth, and the most able to keep a secret…

How to Connect with Nature – A Short Guide on Spirituality, Nature and Awareness

You want to be able to connect with nature. This article explains the concept and gives you an exercise to learn how to do so and develop awareness.  […]

Bridge divides, cultivate belonging and inspire harmony through the power of music.

A reverence for Interdependence is primary. If our lives interpenetrate not only with human creatures but with the wilder others as well, then how we enact our lives – how we participate, how we engage our relationships with the Earth community – may matter more than we can imagine. Could we human creatures teach ourselves a new story, a story of embodied awe and reverence for rain, for rivers and oceans?   Practice weaving together ecology with spirituality now. Teach yourself to regard water – even, and especially, tap water – as a gift, as an unfathomable elixir … as the holy essence of our lives.

Card of the Day – 2 of Cups – Saturday, October 13, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Commitments, connections, and partnerships, these are all highlighted during the Sun in Libra, as well as Venus Retrograde. So for those out there who were hoping I would say today is a great day for that first date…hold that thought. I am not going to discourage you from checking out a dating app, or setting up a meeting with someone new. With Venus Retrograde there is bound to be some form of regret later should you choose to pursue a second date and beyond. However…

This current energy is better used for current and former relationships of all types. As in any good relationship, respect and equality are a must; it is helpful when two people can see eye-to-eye, operate on the same page as one another, or, at the very least have an honest conversation about how things are going. Mercury is currently in Scorpio, the great detective, the…

SUN and PLUTO face off October 11 and 12th
Big power struggles on the world’s stage and in personal issues.

The Sun is the Light and Pluto is the Lord of death and rebirth.

Use the Sun force to light the way in the darkness to bear your shadows, descent and fears. The sun in any sign is always the light and a powerful daylight consciousness. Face the darkness, the unknown and the Void bravely knowing that the Light will always shine. The Void itself is the source of all light.

Something’s gotta give, somethings gotta give, something’s gotta give.” By Johnny Mercer 1954. Irresistible force and stubborn resistance clash.

Stubborn wills lock horns and claws. Mercury in Scorpio can be very biting- watch out for nasty backhanded comments. Uranus in Taurus needs to have a cleverly invented back lob at the ready. Usually, Taurus will ruminate about this but Uranus’s influence enables…

Card of the Day – Knight of Wands – Thursday, October 11, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

The Bringer of Change, this guy tends to be a little bit all over the place, but he is passionate about his changes nonetheless. Currently, we are in a season of change, and you will see this playing out over the coming weeks, moreso in November. Today’s abundance of Scorpio energy is fueled with passion to make your changes happen. Remember, Scorpio represents change more than any other sign, which is perhaps why this time of year always ushers in so many changes.

Right now you have in Scorpio, the Moon, Jupiter through November 8, Venus, which is currently retrograde, and Mercury, all working to give you that extra push to get out there and make things happen. The Knight of Wands often becomes a little bit cocky; do not allow overconfidence and brash behavior to prevent you from achieving your goals. Apply your lust for life to the things…

Clinical Trial Studies Effectiveness of Saffron in Treating Opioid Withdrawal Symptoms

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarCrooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs

Opioid addiction has reached epidemic levels, and withdrawal from the use of drugs such as heroin or prescription opioids can cause acute physical and mental distress. Methadone is often used as replacement therapy in the treatment of opioid dependence since it is slow-acting and able to treat withdrawal symptoms while blocking the high associated with other opioids. Since methadone is itself an opioid, there is still the potential for abuse and addiction, so the search for non-addictive alternative treatments is ongoing. Saffron (Crocus sativus, Iridaceae) stigma may work similarly to methadone in preventing serotonin reuptake, while also having anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. Its use, therefore, might allow patients to reduce their methadone dose.

The authors conducted a parallel, eight-week, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial to study the effect of saffron on patients undergoing methadone treatment for opioid addiction. The study took place in Sabzevar county, Iran from 2016-2017…

Card of the Day – 3 Of Swords – Wednesday, October 10, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

If you’ve been following along here for a while, then you probably know that the Tarot Card of the Day is not some random pull here. When you line them up, one after the other, they tell a story. Today’s 3 of Swords falls in line after a 3 of Cups and a Wheel of Fortune; Monday’s leadup to the New Moon in Libra brought with it some form of celebration. Tuesday’s Wheel of Fortune brings just that, a twist of fate, a change of luck, and a turn of the Wheel.

Today, the 3 of Swords, while I like seeing it come out before the 3 of Cups, represents a form of separation, if you will. This so-called separation is basically a release. If you Google 3 of Swords cards, you will typically see three swords piercing a heart, parting clouds and rain. Things are changing now, this is…

Sex, power, control Mercury in Scorpio

Tara Greene www.taratarot.com's avatarTara Greene,Tarot,Astrology,Psychic

Mercury in Scorpio October 9- October 30/31.

This is an updated article from October 2017, the last time Mercury was in Scorpio.

Sex, power and control issues are hotter than hot topics with women speaking out about being raped, sexually abused and assaulted. It is women’s life under a shadowy, power- hungry Patriarchal world where men have dominated women sexually for thousands of years. This is not a secret anymore.

Sun enters Scorpio on the 23rd in PDT. EDT and GMT joining Venus Retrograde in until the 31st when Venus re-enters her home sign of Libra and Mercury also changes signs. Jupiter is ending his last year in Scorpio in the last degrees also  on November 3rd /4th before entering Sagittarius on Nov 8, 2018. Which is a karmic date. 8/11.

Halloween is a huge trancing between worlds energy this year. Especially sexy, mentally and…

Card of the Day – Wheel of Fortune – Tuesday, October 9, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

If you subscribe to my lengthy, in-depth, Tarot Guidances available on Patreon and in my Facebook Members Only Area, then you know I have mentioned there would be a turning point at the New Moon in Libra, which has occurred yesterday/today, depending upon your time zone.Yes, my friends, the Wheel is finally ready to turn, and the karma bus is rolling on through, however, you might not realize the outcome for a couple of months.

This is a card of fate, destiny, and even good luck. The question here would be in the karma. Here in the USA, the two main lotteries are both worth a great deal of money and garnering extra attention. Feeling lucky? Change is in the air, just like the season itself as it unfolds. With Mars officially at full speed since yesterday, the Wheel of Fortune is here today to indicate that motion is finally…

Rebalancing New Moon in Libra Oct. 8/9

Tara Greene www.taratarot.com's avatarTara Greene,Tarot,Astrology,Psychic

Libra ♎New Moon perfects @ 8:46 pm PDT/ 11:46 pm EDT/October 9 @ 3:46 am GMT

Libra means “the weighing scales” in Latin. Usually held by the Goddess of Justice Dike or Astrea.

How synchronous is this to have the very karmic balance of Justice held by the Goddess be such a prime symbol of anger from women {and men} over Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation to lifelong Supreme Court Judge after Ford’s testimony against him of sexual abuse in College which was not found to be reasonable to prevent his appointment.

Venus, the planetary ruler of Libra is Retrograde which means that Justice is in a regressive stage. Venus is in the Underworld going through her 7 stages of rebirth for the 40 days from October 5-November 16. It appears that in the U.S. women’s rights appear to be backtracking. Mid term elections are coming November 6th and that is a…
