Astrology | First Mercury Retrograde 2021 Arrives

Grandtrines's avatarGrandtrines

The first Mercury Retrograde of 2021 is here. We will expand this post a bit in the next few days, but we want to put up a few charts first (on the outside chance you know how to read them or are trying to learn that skill).

A few key points:

  • Mercury Retrograde begins with the Retrograde Station today (January 30th of 2021)
  • Mercury Retrograde ends with the Direct Station (February 20th of 2021)
  • The Shadow Period prior to the retrograde started January 15th
  • The Shadow Period after the direct station ends March 14th
  • Most of the chaos is associated with the stations and aspects in the shadow period
  • Mercury Retrograde can always be useful; use it to complete “unfinished business” and overlooked maintenance. Cars break down, but often we have the flat tire because the time for new tires had arrived (and we ignored the warning signs). Opportunities abound…

Corona Virus | Merck Discontinues Development of SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 Vaccine Candidates; Continues Development of Two Investigational Therapeutic Candidates

Merck (NYSE: MRK), known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, today announced that the company is discontinuing development of its SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 vaccine candidates, V590 and V591, and plans to focus its SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 research strategy and production capabilities on advancing two therapeutic candidates, MK-4482 and MK-7110. This decision follows Merck’s review of findings from Phase 1 clinical studies for the vaccines. In these studies, both V590 and V591 were generally well tolerated, but the immune responses were inferior to those seen following natural infection and those reported for other SARS-CoV-2/COVID-19 vaccines. Merck continues to advance clinical programs and to scale-up manufacturing for two investigational medicines, MK-7110 and MK-4482 (molnupiravir); molnupiravir is being developed in collaboration with Ridgeback Bio. “We are grateful to our collaborators who worked with us on these vaccine candidates and to the volunteers in the trials,” said Dr.

Saddhā tarati oghaṃ,
appamādena aṇṇavaṃ.
Vīriyena dukkhamacceti.
Paññāya parisujjhati.

Through conviction one crosses over the flood.
Through heedfulness, the sea.
Through persistence one overcomes suffering & stress.
Through discernment a person is purified.

Daily Words of the Buddha for February 01, 2021

Pāli Word a Day for February 01, 2021 — tareti — to go or get through, to cross (a river), pass over, traverse; to get beyond, to surmount, overcome, esp. oghaṃ (the great flood of life, desire, ignorance, etc.)

Aññā hi lābhūpanisā,
aññā nibbānagāminī.
Evametaṃ abhiññāya,
bhikkhu buddhassa sāvako,
sakkāraṃ nābhinandeyya,
vivekamanubrūhaye.

One is the quest for worldly gain,
and quite another is the path to Nibbana.
Clearly understanding this,
let not the monk, the disciple of the Buddha,
be carried away by worldly acclaim,
but develop detachment instead.

Astrology | 2020 World Predictions, Very hard year ahead

Tara Greene www.taratarot.com's avatarTara Greene,Tarot,Astrology,Psychic

These predictions had disappeared in my drafts. I have looked for this all year but not here. I accidentally deleted my 2019 predictions and couldn’t find them anywhere but I just found these now. January 21, 2020, in the Mercury Retrograde shadow so Better late than never.

Originally when I looked into 2020 all I saw was Black for months before. A sign that this is a symbol of death. I had originally seen this same thing in the 2016 Elections when I asked would HIllary Clinton win and that black screen came up which means she would lose.

anupādiyāno idha vā huraṃ vā,

Little though one recites the sacred texts,
but puts the Teaching into practice,
forsaking lust, hatred, and delusion,
with true wisdom and emancipated mind,
clinging to nothing of this or any other world —
one indeed partakes of the blessings of a holy life.

But the abolition of the conceit I am —
That is truly the supreme bliss.

Always have faith.
The possibilities are in your favor. Every outcome is taking you to a greater destination. Great things are coming for you because you believe that it is. So many blessings are headed your way. The rewards for your patience, dedication, and trust will be paying off soon. Please know this. Feel it deeply in your heart. Change starts with energy, outlook, believe, and your ability to notice the great things happening around you. Speak it into existence. Believe in it. Always be optimistic, hopeful, and positive that things are going to work out for you.
You run the show.
Did you know that nothing outside of you really changes, but how you see it. Every single day your setting looks the same, but one day you might be mad, hurt, sad, or happy, excited, and joyful. How many emotions took place where you are right now? If you take a closer look, it’s what you think on the inside that made the reality appear either beautiful or ugly. What you hold internally decides how you see things externally. The only thing changing is you. Now that you have this wisdom, you can start shifting your mindset and a changing your attitude to allow blessings to enter your life. Just believe and let what goes go and what comes come.
Stop playing victim.
Don’t become a victim of external circumstances. You’re letting the outside control too much of your internal reality. Don’t be a puppet to people, situations, and little things that have no real meaning. Don’t let your emotions be moved from left to right. Real power lies in self control. The ability to not allow your internal state to easily be shifted, by the external reality. Stand still, hold firm, and decide today that you’ll no longer be a button that can easily be pushed to react.
Start being grateful.
Start counting your blessings now! Being grateful puts the power back in your hands, because you’re declaring that you are happy with yourself. This actually frees up a lot of the energy that usually goes to resisting, being angry, unhappy, to say “yes I love my life!” It’s truly a freeing experience.
