Circus Memories by Michael Parkes

It is the last week of Aquarius Season already and the Sun moves into elusive Pisces on Saturday. Until Saturday the celestial atmosphere will continue to be hot and dry, dominated by cardinal fire giving it a decided Aries feel. The need to push ahead will be strong, wonderful for making progress towards our future goals.

Early in the week the Aquarius Sun is sextile stable Saturn in Sagittarius, an excellent aspect for laying out the best path to achieve success down the road. Aquarius excels at seeing the big picture but often neglects the necessary practical steps needed to turn those dreams into reality. Saturn in Sagittarius can help us with that because he is a reliable pathfinder and will be able to nudge the Aquarius Sun back into a more realistic approach.

Politics and Philosphy  —  Introduction to Political Philosophy: A Free Yale Course | Open Culture

Shamanic Totem Appearance – Lion (leadership)

lion-face
Lion says to you: “Be bold and take a position of leadership. People need you!”

The spirit of the Lion, as King of the animals, is the quintessential image of leadership.  The Lion is saying to you that it is now your time to take a leadership position!  A real leader is not just a dictator imposing his views on others.  A real leader is a central point, a coordinator and a facilitator who understands the strengths and weaknesses of everyone.  He can then assign roles, depending on the skills of each individual, allowing everyone to express their unique talents.  Being a leader requires empathy, humility and common sense because “the needs of the Many outweigh the needs of the one”.  You have all those qualities, so don’t be shy.  It’s your time to accept your full potential as a leader.

Rare Lunar Eclipse During Leo: Prepare For a Huge Energy Shift On February 11, 2017

In just a few short days there will be a lunar eclipse taking place and right along with it a major shift will also be occurring. Lunar eclipses occur when the sun, Earth, and moon all line up in that respective order. As the moon passes behind our planet and enters into the Earth’s umbra, its shadow, the resulting alignment causes the shadow to fall upon the moon, making it noticeably appear a few shades darker.
