Kāmaṃ kāmayamānassa,
tassa ce taṃ samijjhati, addhā pītimano hoti.
Laddhā macco yadicchati.
Tassa ce — kāmayānassa, chandajātassa — jantuno
te kāmā parihāyanti,
sallaviddhova ruppati.
If one, longing for sensual pleasure,
achieves it, yes, one’s enraptured at heart.
The mortal gets what one wants.
But if for that person — longing, desiring —
the pleasures diminish,
one’s shattered, as if shot with an arrow.
Sutta Nipāta 4.772, 4.773

Foodstyles | Magnolia Table Chocolate Chip Cookies, by Joanna Gaines
“My dad has an intense sweet tooth, just like me. One afternoon when I was around 10 years old, Dad got a hankering and he enlisted me to help him make Toll House chocolate chip cookies. That was the first time he and I had ever baked together. Since then, whenever I make chocolate chip cookies, including the ones from this recipe, I think of him and that special afternoon we spent together in the kitchen.“

Think feelings Mercury in Cancer
Mercury enters CANCER June 4- 26 which blend our mental focus and our conversations with our feelings. That is a good thing. Mercury is not that comfy in watery emotional Cancer though.
Mercury is in Cancer June 4-26 a quick dip into the oceanic moody depths with our minds. If information be the food of love this is your time. Feed your mind and your tummy at the same time.
We are analyzing through an emotional filter and our thoughts will be more tender, sentimental, receptive and nurturing.
Mercury is the Magician #1 in the Tarot and The Sign of Cancer is symbolized byt #7 The Chariot.
Cancer is the First Cardinal Water sign it represents the mother, the womb, the unconscious, the sea as the womb of all life on earth, nurturing, nourishment, food, shelter, emotional security and children, it is ruled by the moon.

Blue Java Banana: The Banana That Tastes ‘Just Like Vanilla Ice Cream’
Blue Java bananas are probably the most delicious treat you will ever have. These bananas taste like vanilla ice cream, and even have a similar consistency. This fruit has sweet aroma, and the name comes from the color of the peel of unripe Blue Java bananas. When ripe, the peel is pale yellow or greenish. […]

Card of the Day – The Chariot – Tuesday, June 4, 2019
There is a call to action today as the Gemini energies continue. The Sun is still there, the Moon for the first half of the day, and Mercury until late afternoon. You can really feel as though you are taking charge and getting some things done. They may not be the big things, it is more likely they are menial, mundane tasks which you need to get out of the way. Chances are, though, that given the way May was going, being able to put yourself back on track and move forward feels great. Yesterday’s Gemini New Moon is urging you to embrace the process of pushing ahead, because your hopes and dreams will soon be in view.
The Chariot is representative not of just action, but victory, regaining control, free will, just to name a few. I would say that to have the free will to be making choices…

Card of the Day – Queen of Swords – Sunday, June 2, 2019
Well, well. There must be a New Moon nearby! The Queen of Swords has a habit of being in the vicinity of New Moons, and tomorrow’s New Moon in Gemini is no exception. Normally, she is in b*tch mode and everyone needs to get out of her way. That is not to say that the Gemini New Moon will not not stir someone’s pot, bringing out the cranky, critical, ill-mannered lot, who seem prevalent when the Moon is in darkness. Keep your eye out for them, and try not to be one of them.
However, I strongly feel that this Queen of Swords, being of Air energy, rather signifies her more positive attributes at this time. Today we have a Gemini Moon, Sun, and Mercury, so I suspect our Queen is mentally prepared for the day and ready to put life in order to officially get the month of June…

The Summer Solstice approaches! Ready?
The Summer Solstice is known in contemporary Neo-Paganism as Litha or Midsummer. Neo-Pagan religion often marks this as the moment the sun god meets his death, though sometimes that event is reserved for the cross-quarter in August or the autumnal equinox in September.
