Aloha kākahiāka a ma Hauʻōli lā Pōʻakāhi ōukōu.  Ī lā nāni nōu. Ō kā maluhia nō me ʻoe.

Good morning and Happy Monday, everyone.  Have a beautiful day!  Peace be with you.

We are all so blessed to share this precious gift called LIFE!  Ōla ī kā makana ma ke Ākūa, life is a gift from God!  As we head into 2018, always remember the gift we have been given; that we are blessed in so many ways and that the greatest gift of all is Aloha (Love).

Wishing all of the Ohana a very peaceful and blessed day!  Ē pili mau nā pōʻmaikāʻi ʻia ʻoe – May blessings ever be with you!

Ho’omana’o – ‘ŌLELO NO’EAU

He lawa‘i a no ke kai papa u, he pokole ke aho; he lawa‘i a no ke kai hohonu he loa ke aho.

A fisherman of the shallow sea uses only a short line; a fisherman of the deep has a long line (A person whose knowledge is shallow does not have much, but he whose knowledge is great, does)

This means that you will reach only as far as you aim and prepare yourself to reach.

In order for changes to be made with regards to land rights, housing education etc. We must become well informed like the Lawai’i or Fisherman because they are not just traits of a well skilled practioner but an icon to whom we should all emulate.

Hauʻōli aloha Pōʻakōlu

Aloha kākahiāka a me nā Hauʻōli aloha Pōʻakōlu ōukōu … Ē ho mai, aloha mai ē ho mai ē.  Hōʻomanāʻo ī ōla Pōnō. Ō kā maluhia nō me ʻoe.

Good morning and Happy Aloha Wednesday, everyone.  Bring to me the love of the spirit of aloha.  Remember to live right. Peace be with you.

Let’s all remind one another to always “Live pono” (Live right) It is very important when carrying the spirit of aloha within. What we do & what we say can be empowering or endangering in someone’s life. Remember words can never be undone. So really think about what you say before you say it. make sure it’s uplifting & building one’s confidence.  That’s what sharing aloha is all about.  Share aloha, be aloha, live aloha mau loa! (always).  A hui hou apopo, malama pono (until we meet again tomorrow, take care.)
