Aloha kakahiaka oukou. Hauʻoli aloha Po’akolu. Maikaʻi iā oukou.
Good morning and Happy Aloha Wednesday, everyone. Enjoy your day!
Meditate on this ‘Oli to automatically activate being Pono. Visualize the lei, the eternal circle of love, in which we are surrounded by Spirit, a reminder to live in the moment and express gratitude for all our moments.

CREATING THE LEI: Drawing Our Sacred Circle of Learning …
‘Oli (chant): KA LEI ALOHA I NA KUPUNA
Kahea: Ka Lei Aloha I Na Kupuna
Kahea: Ka Lei Aloha!
“Ka lei aloha i na kupuna
Ka lei aloha i na kupuna
Noho au i ka manawa
Noho au i ka manawa
A me na manawa iki ko’u pono
A me na manawa iki ko’u pono
Mahalo nui no pomaika’i nei au
Mahalo nui no pomaika’i nei au”
(repeat twice more)
Kahea: He inoa no Na Kupuna!
Call (loudly spoken): In the name of the Elders/Ancestors/Spirit!
(In the Circle of Love of the Elders)
Call: The Circle of Love!
In the circle of love of Spirit
I am in the moment
And all my moments are pono (righteous).
I am so grateful for all the blessings that surround me
In the circle of love
(repeat each line twice and entire verse twice)
Call: Honored (celebrated) is the name of the Ancestors!

The Body always exists in the moment. Pono, connection to Spirit, can only occur in the moment. Thus, you are in Pono when Mana’o and Pu’uwai are in agreement with Na’au because when they are, you are in alignment with ‘Uhane.
“The earth recognizes people whom Source flowers. There is a sensuousness, a centeredness, a grace to their movement. There is a relaxed gentility of power flowing quietly within and beneath their action. There is a humble assuredness about them, a reverence, a sense of humor and a sense of the sacred entwined. They are the magical people, for whom the earth has longed.” ~ Ken Carey

Coming up next week is the Autumnal Equinox and New Moon … what a powerful combination of energies that you can use to begin manifesting as a co-creator of Heaven on Earth.
The Autumnal Equinox of 2014 occurs on September 22nd at 9:29 CDT this year (Plano, TX). (In other areas, such as the United Kingdom, it will occur on September 23rd in the early morning hours (0229 GMT)). It is followed two days later by a new moon (Libra / Aries). We will cover both in this entry.
First, the chart (set in Plano TX):

We note that the Moon is very old and (predictably) near the Sun. Venus is between them and would be “besieged” if the Sun and Moon were malefics (which they are not). This places Venus on or near the mid-point of Sun and Moon and is arguably a favorable placement. Moon is slightly past an opposition to Chiron and and an earlier opposition to Neptune (both in Pisces) earlier than that.
Before we go further with our analysis, let us make…

Dark are the sea cliffs of kahikinui;

Creeping rain means Trouble is approaching.
This is taken from a chant in the legend of Pamoano, who saw his own death approaching. When seeing the dark clouds with rain mists its cleansing Hawaiʻi nei of all bad. It is refreshing to smell the fresh clean air after a rain.

Colder temps make eating this traditional American classic a must, especially when you are with family and friends. Mangia, mangiare!
Bake time: 30-40 minutes
Prep time: 20 minutes
This makes a large amount of very rich macaroni and cheese. Cut the recipe in half to serve a family of four.
Traditionally, I have always prepared macaroni and cheese using a roux based cheese sauce (or sometimes out of a blue box…. Sssssh don’t tell), but after discovering Southern Style mac n cheese, I have another favorite in my recipe box. It’s definitely a more expensive and cholesterol laden favorite. You won’t want to make this on a tight budget. This is one of those “sometimes” dishes. Sometimes you’ll make it because you want awesome mac n cheese. Most of time, you won’t want to drop all that money on cheese.
PLEASE GRATE BY HAND! I cannot stress enough that you should please, pretty pretty please, go through the trouble of grating your cheeses by hand. If you look at the ingredients…

Burning Man is a week-long annual event held in the Black Rock Desert in northern Nevada, in the United States. The event begins on the last Monday in August, and ends on the first Monday in September, which coincides with the American Labor Day holiday. It takes its name from the ritual burning of a large wooden effigy, which is set alight on Saturday evening. The event is described as an experiment in community, art, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance.
One of the roots of the annual event now known as Burning Man began as a bonfire ritual on the summer solstice in 1986 when Larry Harvey, Jerry James, and a few friends met on Baker Beach in San Francisco[7] and burned a 9-foot (2.7-meter) wooden man as well as a smaller wooden dog. Harvey has described his inspiration for burning these effigies as a spontaneous act of “radical self-expression”.
