I love The Empress card … it represents the nurturing, motherly, feminine energies of passion, abundance, fertility and material luxury.  You know, to be passionate about something means that you are willing to suffer to achieve that which your heart most desires … that is Passion … and haven’t you suffered through adapting to recent changes in your life?  And, like the powerful energies that fuel feminine power, The Empress is watery, hard to fathom, mysterious and pregnant with possibilities.  Get back in touch with your quieter, feminine side … listen to your intuition … give priority to emotions and passions.  This is a sign of coming abundance.  People are going to be more attracted to you than usual and in every sense, so you are likely to find people on your doorstep wanting your advice and/or your shoulder for comfort.  This is beneficial to you because now you have a window into how others perceive you … and you have become someone with wisdom and with a lot to offer.  Be compassionate, be motherly … share your hard-won perspectives on life and know that your wisdom and caring has value and is valuable.  Listen more closely to your intuition, because your Higher Self is reaching for a connection with your waking consciousness.  If listening closely means being alone for a bit at some point today, DO IT.  You are making that coveted connection with your “inner voice” … this is the prize.

Perseverance pays off in the forms of beneficial returns on your energy investments.  Since we’re talking Pentacles (money matters, mostly), this could take the form of returned money or returns on investments of time, effort and energy put into a relationship.  It’s Autumn and it’s Harvest Time!  As you are enjoying the fruits of your labors, give yourself time to step back to re-evaluate your relationships; this is an important part of tending to your garden.

A ray of sunshine breaking through your clouds.  Yes, things are changing and for most folks, the changes are positive and welcomed.  Of course, change itself is difficult and, at times, traumatic.  The feeling today is very spiritual and karmically oriented.  Embrace the truth that change is part of the cyclical nature of Life.  Those problems, headaches and stress of yesterday?  It’s all becoming water under the bridge.  Pay attention to your perspectives, as they are also changing.  Moving on and moving forward means experiencing the Now … not continuing the habit of obsessing on past experience or worrying about “what-if’s”.   Live in this now, grateful and appreciative of all that is now available to you, and realize that much of your life is outside of your control … and that is also okay.  Roll with it.  Accept.  It’s very possible that you will decide to leave your job if you are currently working, even if it’s a good job, because your heart is no longer in it.  You are being called to follow your dream, no matter what it is.  If you have a desire to do something different, but don’t know anybody who does what you want to do, then be bold.  Call up someone who does what you dream of doing and ask him/her if you can have lunch with them or shadow him/her for a few hours.  You’ll be surprised how often such a request is met positively, and perhaps even welcomed.  Financially, the Wheel is generally a good omen for anyone who has been having a rough time for a while with finances.  It means that your circumstances are very likely to change, markedly, for the better.  However, if you have had a long prosperous period, then consider the opposite possibility that your income will drop a little.  And, if that’s the case, be prepared for the rainy day that’s coming.  This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as you also know that it’s all about keeping the balance.

Ah, he (or she) is back and behaving with less than ethical intentions, perhaps even prying into someone’s life where he (or she) ought not.  Feel like someone’s watching you?  You’re probably right.  So, resist the impulse to behave similarly regarding another.  Your employer is observing your work and conduct closely.  Do your job and continue being mindful of the details: perseverance.  Be careful with new-found spiritual friends.  The truth is that you don’t necessarily need a leader from whom to learn and grow your spirituality.

It’s Sunday, a day of rest and relaxation … and so, if you can swing it, why not take a day trip today?  Today is a brand new day and you’re feeling lighter after going through some heavy changes this past week.  You’ve made headway on some important projects in your life (including yourself!), so you’ve earned today’s reward.  Take your energy, your exuberance, and do something fun with your time that allows you to travel and explore.  New ideas and perspectives are on your horizon, so use your energy to delve deeper.

One of my favorite cards of the entire Tarot deck, I identify with the High Priestess because it is a very spiritual card … often with sexual overtones.  What does that mean?  You are going to be much more physically attractive to others, and that closer attention to you will allow you to inspire others with your insightful wisdom gained from esoteric knowledge you’ve been gathering for some time now.  And so, do rely on your intuition and inner knowledge (right brain), rather than your conscious mind or intellect (left brain).  You’re dreaming again, so pay attention to what your sub-/supra-consciousness is communicating to your conscious self at this time.  Synchronicities are likely to occur, or rather, be noticed now.  For men, the High Priestess represents a woman that a man will want badly, but whom he may not be able to get.  Pay attention to the messages that flash at you from all sorts of places.  Use this time to further expand your spiritual knowledge and understanding in ways you have not explored before now.  Talk to others who have already taken that plunge to get their perspectives and inspire you to move out of your comfort zone.  Be daring here:  it’s to your benefit.

We are rebalancing as we continue to adjust to changes, so it’s no surprise that today we might be feeling less than secure.  Just remember that there is always assistance available when you need it … from both sides of the Veil.  You might feel alone, but you always have the choice to change that feeling.  Reach out, rather than dwell on feeling like you’ve been left out in the cold.  You are not the only one feeling ill at ease at this time.  Ask and you shall receive, friends.  Remind yourself that nothing lasts forever, especially the downtimes as this card illustrates.  Stay mindful of the reality that we are all connected and that allowing others to assist you is your blessing to THEM as well as to yourself.  Try to not do it all yourself and have faith that things will improve, because you know deep down that they will!

The Magician is all about making higher, and better, use of all of one’s Mana … Power that comes from Within:  spiritual, emotional, from the supraconsciousness.  After all the changes that we’ve been going through these past several days, we are now embarking on another level of our journey.  Today comes the Aloha lesson “Na Mahu’i Nui” (great expectations).  Great expectations often turn out as planned disappointment. Focus on expectation to put you in the state of “what isn’t.” The heart is naturally going to react to the mind’s preoccupation with “what isn’t” with disappointment, anger, frustration. Your mantra is i keia manawa … stay in this moment.  You may notice many synchronicities that point to deep spiritual events taking place despite superficial appearances.  Knowledge, strength and inspiration are yours to claim to meet your challenges.  Step into your Mana now and consider undertaking some form of spiritual study that you’ve thought about, but put off undertaking for another occasion in the future.  Today may very well be this beginning.

The changes you’re experiencing cannot gel into your renewed reality unless and until you move on emotionally and, in some instances, physically.  It is a choice to leave a situation that no longer serves you.  Though that parting may make you feel sad, know that this choice is in your best interests.  Renewed good times lie ahead.  If your gut is telling you to move on, then trust yourself and DO IT.  If your situation or relationship is fixable, then explore your options on how to rebuild from this point forward.  Give yourself some breathing room and carve out some alone-time today.  You’ll find depth and wisdom in your solitude … and then, just B R E A T H E …

After rolling with the milieu of Changes harkened by The Tower yesterday, we find ourselves once again before another portal entry into a new level of experience.  The energies are all about transformation, renewal, cleansing and liberation … and they are manifesting in a myriad of ways.  We’ve explores similar avenues when the Death card came up several weeks ago.  The bottom line in each life situation  … with work, love, finance, health and spirituality … is releasing situations, relationships and ideas that limit your potential to expand your knowledge base and, thus, understanding of all around you.  You can do it and, if you need assistance, there is always someone waiting in the wings with the ability.  Remember, change is inevitable … struggle is an option.
