I have been approached by many of my Reiki students expressing their desire to learn more about metaphysical subject matters. It appears there is an avid interest in learning more about Astrology and learning to read the Tarot proficiently. I was delighted to hear their enthusiasm and see their eagerness to learn about these occult areas of knowledge, and decided to write about both topics, since I have been teaching on such topics on other platforms for the better part of 25 years.

I ended up writing a series of manuals for use and reference alongside my live lectures. These publications are now available for purchase online.

The new training courses I’m offering through the Hālau are called Astra Prima™ Astrology for Novices and the Arcana Institute’s Tarot 101. I’m engaged in a project where I’m lecturing on both subjects concurrently, with students using my books as their course textbooks. We are seven weeks into our coursework, and so far, feedback has been positive, and the material has been enthusiastically received. Well, that is, until they engage in our first round of midterms, scheduled for the first two weeks of August. I won’t gloss over the fact that I am a strict instructor, but then again, proof of the success of my approach continues to manifest in the quality of my students’ acumen and proficiency.

I’m now extending an invitation to the Halau’s readership to consider and join me in these new opportunities for growth in learning the basic concepts of Astrology and the foundational bridges it shares with Tarot, and learning how to read the Tarot proficiently and beyond the ken of a soothsayer. Both courses will become paths toward deeper innerstanding of yourself, who you are, and realizing your life purpose … insights often characterized as achieving your Great Work, accomplishing your Magnum Opus.

Train At The Halau!

USUI SYSTEM OF NATURAL HEALING (REIKI) Click on the Reiki tab and go to our Enrollment page link for information about our Reiki training program and to sign up. The Halau propagates traditional Japanese Usui Teate Reiki in addition to American Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki knowledge and training. Most Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki schools allow Level 3 Reiki Masters to attune new students. Unlike these schools, The Halau allows only our Usui Teate Grandmasters to propagate basic Reiki technique to beginners. Grandmasters are the only instructors with enough training and knowledge to attune new students. They are trained to perform both live (in-person) as well as astral (long-distance) attunements. We do not simply gather students as income: our training is for serious Reiki inquiries only.
