It’s time to take a break from normal life’s pace, or either you are someone close to you needs to withdraw for a time. The withdrawal is not likely permanent, and occasionally could mean illness or, rarely, time spent in a hospital. Clearly, this is a time where you require space. Others may be pushing too hard for bits of your time and attention. Don’t hesitate to draw boundaries for yourself or to say “no”. Conversely, when others say no to you, take them at your word and back off. Pushing in these circumstances is asking for trouble. Now is a great time to take off from work, if you can get away. This Thanksgiving holiday is just the sort of long weekend that is required to get back some perspective. If things at work haven’t gone forward as well as you’d like, then try not to take it personally and push harder. Perhaps patience with the process is required, or, if you’re done with patience, then looking for more satisfying work elsewhere is what is needed to happen. You may need a different course of action to approach your finances, anyway, by thinking through ways to bring in extra money. Whatever your situation is at present, know that the financial logjam won’t last forever. Consider an act of kindness done genuinely for another … that is the kind of Action that sparks good Karma.
