Card of the Day – 4 of Cups – Tuesday, September 18, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Feeling in a rut? That urge to break out peaks today as Mars and Uranus square off once again. A reminder that this energy is one best put to good use, and not to let yourself be overrun by it. Since May, you have been trying to do something, and there have been many zigs, zags, detours, and holdups along the way. Sorry, but the same old, same old will just not cut it anymore. Boredom with the status quo may run rampant now.

So, what to do when you are feeling like this? First, ask yourself what it is that you don’t want in your life; that should be pretty clear. Meditate, contemplate, do whatever it is that helps you achieve a place of clarity. Next is considering what you do want, and this may be where it can become tricky with the 4 of Cups involved. Don’t rule…

Autumn Equinox, September 22nd, 2018 ~ The Shift

L'Aura Pleiadian's avatarThe New Divine Humanity

As I sit here, amazed, bathed in the heat and sun of summer in the air and on my skin, I know that very soon, the Fall Equinox will arrive. I am in the Northern Hemisphere and here our equal days and nights, takes place at the beginning of Libra, astrologically. The Balance, the scales.

As the daylight becomes shorter and almost becomes the same length as the night-time, we celebrate the Harvest, the beginning of Fall. September 22, 2018, 10:54 pm ADT. Equinox ~ equal light.  As the daylight becomes less and less, and the darkness becomes greater, we then celebrate the shortest day of daylight, the winter solstice and the return to greater light.

For those in the Southern Hemisphere, you will too be celebrating equal days and nights, although for you, it will be the beginning of spring, leading up to the summer solstice, the longest day…

Pāli Word a Day for September 17, 2018  —  anāsasāna — an + āsasāna = not + wishing, desiring, longing = not longing after anything

Idha socati pecca socati;
pāpakārī ubhayattha socati.
So socati so vihaññati,
disvā kammakiliṭṭhamattano.

The evil-doer grieves here and hereafter;
one grieves in both the worlds.
One laments and is afflicted,
recollecting one’s own impure deeds.

Card of the Day – 10 of Swords – Monday, September 17, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Rock bottom…down and out…the only way to go is up. The last time we saw this card was in the beginning of May. Uranus’ stay in Aries was growing in intensity and nearing its end before moving into Taurus on May 15. These last few months, since that sign shift, have not been easy ones for so many of you. Tomorrow, Uranus, which is retrograde in Taurus, will square Mars, which is in shadow in Aquarius. You are likely to be feeling these energies.

The urge to break out and begin a true recovery (10 of Swords) may very well hit you now. Go ahead, stand up and move toward the light which is the dawn of a new day. This square can also prove stressful (10 of Swords) to some of you, if you, or those around you, are not harnessing the energy to break out and break free…

Card of the Day – Ace of Cups – Saturday, September 15, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Always my favorite card! I am a believer in love – love of all types. What a wonderful card for a Saturday! There may be a fair amount of you in attendance at a wedding, or any other gathering which celebrates love in some way. There are glorious new beginnings available here, and you may find your creative juice flowing and your intuition peaking.

Love for humanity, unconditional love, and emotional fulfillment are all possible now, but the bottom line is it is all about your perception. How do you view the cup? Remember, positive begets positive, and negative begets negative. Never view the cup as half-empty, remember, it cal always be refilled.

See you here tomorrow!

Card of the Day – King of Swords – Friday, September 14, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

Today I feel as though this King comes with a bit of caution; whether it be male or female, there could very well be someone in your midst who simply becomes unhinged. Perhaps you see it around you, or even in the news, but you will definitely stand up and take notice. Do not let it be you. Typically, we are always seeing the Queen near a New or Full Moon, and this guy does not make as many appearances. There are some narcissistic tendencies here, as well as bullying and being extremely critical, and downright nasty in some cases.

Enough of that guy! Let us remind ourselves what the positive side of this King of Swords can be. He is an intellectual and extremely organized. He, or she, possesses the mental clarity to accomplish their goals without emotion or drama being part of the equation. There is a no…

Card of the Day – 3 of Cups – Thursday, September 13, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

We always tend to view this as a card of celebration, but it feels like so much more today. While a party is not out of the question for some of you, this is more about a positive sense of community. Truly, it is time to set aside differences and work together in a positive manner. It is possible to see numerous examples of this in the coming days, especially as Hurricane Florence barrels down on the Eastern seaboard of the United States. People working together in a positive manner evokes emotions of camaraderie, as differences are set aside for the greater good. By now, you are probably thinking this is a positive card and she is talking about a history-making storm.

The moral of the story today is that life itself is worth celebrating, and embracing each and every day with the joy of the 3 of Cups allows…
