An ingenious idea developed by a small team based in California, USA that goes by the name of Reduce. Reuse. Grow. might turn around some of our greatest waste problems. Namely, they have devised a clever new type of coffee cup with seeds inside the walls. Therefore, as soon as you are done, you can plant the […]

etaṃ ve paramaṃ sukhaṃ.
Freedom from lust is happiness in the world,
the going beyond all sensual desires.
But the crushing out of the conceit “I am”–
this is the highest happiness.

Culture | From Brazil to the Philippines: How Countries Around the Globe Celebrate Día de Muertos
Source: https://remezcla.com/lists/culture/dia-de-muertos-around-world/

While Mexico is the country most renowned for Día de Muertos, the holiday honoring the dead is celebrated across Latin America and beyond. From Brazil to the Philippines, November 1 and 2 are the days of the year when families and friends gather to pay tribute to their deceased loved ones. For some cultures, it’s a day of festivities. For others, it’s a time for mourning. But while traditions and customs change depending on the region, one thing remains the same: everyone yearns for a way to commemorate the lives of the loved ones that are no longer with them. Nnnn v

You’re Not Dying, It’s The Schumann Resonance
By now, there isn’t one person on Earth that has not felt some kind of weird and unexplained physical symptom that makes them feel uncomfortable. Many do not understand why this is occurring, and some go to their doctor to find that there is nothing wrong with them. […]

Day of the Dead Retrograde Psychopomp

November 1st, All Saint’s Day originated as a very ancient pagan festival which today in Mexico is a two-day Festival to honor and celebrate those ancestors who have passed on from this world. To the Native Indios in Mexico and throughout Central America death was never an end to Life but only a beginning, a transition back to Source and on to another life. Most indigenous people world-wide honor their departed relations, and remember them not only on one or two days in the year but daily, setting plates of food for them at the table after they have passed into the Spirit world.
November 1st Mercury has just turned Retrograde on Halloween at the 27th degree Scorpio the sign of death, making this Day of the Dead even stronger as the veils between the world’s are thinnest integrating the Scorpio Death and rebirth motif.

Why Afternoon Naps are a Sign of Health, Not Laziness
Most of us usually lack time to take a nap in the afternoon, due to the numerous household chores, jobs, bills, and all other responsibilities that keep our schedules packed. And this can often be exhausting, even on the best of days. Therefore, if you feel drained and your energy flags in the middle of […]

La’au Lapa’au | Black Chokeberry Extract May Decrease Acetylcholinesterase Activity in Adolescents Diagnosed with Metabolic Syndrome
Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs
Metabolic syndrome (MetS) is a group of risk factors, including abdominal obesity, a disorder of lipid metabolism, glucose intolerance, and hypertension that lead to cardiovascular disease (CVD) and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). An unbalanced diet, stress, reduced physical activity, and genetic factors may lead to abdominal obesity and are the main causes of MetS. Adipose tissue releases adipocytokines, which may increase insulin resistance and blood pressure, cause oxidative stress, and disturb lipid metabolism. “Population studies have shown that the Mediterranean diet rich in fruits, vegetables, legumes, and grains is inversely associated with the incidence of MetS.” Fruits and vegetables are rich in polyphenolic compounds. Black chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa, Rosaceae) is rich in polyphenols. Another study showed that black chokeberry juice had high antioxidant potential.
Cholinesterase is part of a group of enzymes that hydrolyze acetylcholine and other choline esters, including acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). AChE has…

Foodstyles | French Onion Soup

French onion soup is a labor of love to get the onions to that prefect state of caramelization. Perfect onions aside, it’s a simple soup with only a handful of ingredients. Here is my version.
Use whatever cheese you like. Classic French onion soup has Gruyere, but here I just used mix of mozzarella and Monterey Jack.
I don’t have soup crocks, so I make my cheesy bread topping separately, then add to my soup.
3 medium onions, diced
32 oz beef broth (low sodium is best)
10 sprigs thyme
3 Tablespoons corn oil
Salt and pepper
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons flour
French bread
Shredded cheese
For the soup:
Heat oil over medium to medium high heat (that’s between 6-8 on my stove).
Add onions and thyme, sprinkle with salt and pepper, stir.

Allow onions to slowly caramelize for 30-40 minutes, stirring about every 5 minutes, until a beautiful…

Gold of the Gods, Alchemy, and Monatomic ORMUS – ROBERT SEPEHR
Laurence Gardner was a British author and lecturer. He wrote on subjects such as the Jesus bloodline, the Knights Templar, the Holy Grail, anti-gravity, and monatomic gold, a consumable elixir which allegedly can do everything from extend life to awaken dormant psychic abilities.

David Hudson is credited by most people in the field as being the originator of the term “Orbitally Rearranged Monatomic Elements”, or by its acronym, the ORMEs (ORMUS). Mr. Hudson began speaking publicly about his research and discoveries in 1995, claiming that he had discovered an ingestable matter that caused Superconductivity in the human body, or in other words, what some interpret as the alchemical Philosopher’s Stone.

La’au Lapa’au | Emulsions Containing Echinacea Extract Reduce Body and Scalp Pruritis
Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs
Pruritis (itching) is a common symptom of inflammatory skin diseases and is strongly associated with dry skin. Topical emollients to replenish lipids and moisturizers to hydrate the skin are first-line treatments; however, the effects are often unsatisfactory. Treatment for three months with a water-in-oil (w/o) emulsion containing a proprietary echinacea (Echinacea purpurea, Asteraceae) root extract was found to significantly alleviate pruritis associated with subacute or chronic atopic eczema (AE) in one clinical study; however, the effectiveness of the echinacea w/o emulsion in the treatment of acute or chronic pruritis not associated with AE has not been clinically assessed. Although w/o emulsions are usually more effective than oil-in-water (o/w) emulsions for the treatment of pruritis, w/o emulsions are not cosmetically acceptable therapeutics for dry, itchy scalp. Therefore, a novel o/w emulsion containing echinacea extract and a shampoo containing echinacea extract were developed. The purpose of this three-part open-label, non-randomized, uncontrolled…
