It doesn’t get much better than this! This rendition of the 9 of Cups from Felicia Cano for 78 Tarot Mythical shows that pleased as punch feeling one gets when your wishes come true. I say let’s not be all excited thinking it is the biggest wish on the list, however. It is necessary to recognize when a wish, even a minor one, has materialized. But, certainly the cards have been lining up with things progressing in the right direction.

So, yes, this is the Wish card, and provided you have been wishing for things in your highest and best interest, then something about today should indeed please you. It goes without saying to be careful what you wish for because you might just get it!

Success! I believe I have said before that this really is my favorite Tarot card of the whole deck, not just this depiction, but in any deck. When you think of life, and various forms of fulfillment, which feels better to you? Financial, emotional, mental, or passion, if that is how one chooses to define Pentacles, Cups, Swords, and Wands, then I would choose Cups any day. After all, when we have emotional fulfillment, the others do not seem to matter as much. Let that sink in for a minute.

Today represents something, whether big or small, which allows you to see your cup of life as overflowing, opening up the five senses, and filling you with positive emotions. Interesting that we see this card today, after yesterday’s 5 of Wands. This is a defensive stance, and I would say, depending upon who you are, it can be a good thing, or not. There will be those using their soapbox to stand up for what is right, whether they feel their opinion is popular or controversial. Then there will be those who see the tide shifting, and that they are alone, perhaps backed into a corner; they are probably the ones who need to worry, as the crowd forms, and there is no room for escape.

On a very personal level, you can utilize the energy of the 7 of Wands to keep on plugging away, never giving an inch; you may not see today as a day of progress, but your determination to not go backward is equally important. You have come too far to back down now…

*While there are many crystals that can boost energy and bring feelings of stamina, motivation, and alertness, these are some of my favourite go-tos for that purpose. I find that crystals that are orange and yellow are good choices for bringing a boost of energy, as they stimulate the sacral and solar plexus. Red crystals bring stamina as well, and they are good for grounding and strength, but I find more of an energy-stimulating effect from the orange and yellow crystals (crystals can affect everyone differently though). I may add more to this list later, but for now I think it is a good start. Realize also that crystals are not a substitute for medical or psychological advice or therapies, they are simply complementary (but realize also that there is no scientific evidence for their effectiveness).*
