This morning, as I was perusing through my Facebook timeline, I happened upon an article that a lovely friend shared. It was entitled “24 Things Women Should Stop Wearing After Age 30”, and it triggered Maximum Eye-Rolling from everyone who took the time out to read it.

Written by Kallie Provencher for RantChic.com, this “article” (I use the term loosely) highlighted things such as “leopard print”, “graphic tees”, and “short dresses” (because “By this age, women should know it’s always better to leave something to the imagination”). Kallie, it seems, has a number of opinions on what women over 30 should and shouldn’t be doing, having also penned “30 Things Women Over 30 Shouldn’t Own” and “20 Pictures Women Over 30 Need To Stop Posting Online”. (What is this magical post-30 land where women are suddenly not allowed to do or own so many things?!)

If you see this food truck roll in your area, be sure to check it out!  I had the pleasure of dining from Curbside Kitchen today at Vallejo Waterfront’s Pista Sa Nayon festival.  The Lozano Brothers, Russell and Raynard, are cooking up some mighty fine Filipino American Gourmet.

You have to have a good rub to start some good BBQ, and there’s some exciting news in the BBQ world! Two-time Hell’s Kitchen contestant and celebrity chef Robert Hesse is shedding his Executive Chef’s coat for a brand new one and starting a new venture – in BBQ. Chef gave CPM the rub.

Chef met up with the Zimmerman Brothers of the former ZeBro’s Harbor House in Westfield, NY and created a new restaurant – When Pigs Fly BBQ Pit. “I knew right away when I walked into ZeBro’s that it was time to make a change.” That change would be for Chef and for ZeBro’s.

First, you might want to peek at our analysis of this aspect on March 23, 2016 and August 3, 2015.  The perfection of today’s square is the third in a three party sequence, and we will not see a similar pattern repeat until 2024 / 2025.

The King is back around to check in with you yet again!   He’s boosting your confidence and ambition to do more at work and at play.  This King is ruled by Saggitarius, and we just enjoyed a beautiful Saggitarian Full Moon last Saturday.  Saggitarius is synonamous with the vibe of “I perceive”.  Your perceptions about the world and people around you reveal that you remain supported in your efforts and appreciated.  Progress feels good, doesn’t it?   Still toying with the notion of starting your own business, or some other entrepreneurial endeavor?  Perhaps the King will suggest an idea that will become a lucrative source of additional income.  If you receive the inspiration to head in that direction, do a little research and brainstorm the possibilities.  Going with the flow further expands your spiritual horizons.

Banh Mi typically refers to a Vietnamese sandwich of grilled pork or chicken, pickled veggies and fresh herbs. For this dish, I did a quick pickling of carrots and Daikon radish, added some chicken breast seasoned with Chinese five spice powder and added in some fresh cucumber and mint leaves as well. It’s all rolled together in a spring roll rice paper wrapper for a meal that’s light, refreshing and perfect for summer.

This year’s Sagittarius Full Moon is a high-energy, high-octane blaze of hard-driving emotions. Even if we’ve been going with the flow lately (and what choice have we had, really?), reactions have been building up. A person can be philosophical only so long until feelings kick in. As they do now.

We’re in for profound feedback about beliefs and their ramifications. And, boy, is it ever motivating.
