This is one of those cards for which everyone waits.  The Knight of Cups brings the promise of romance, but I am not known for saying this to be the case.  It is not to say love is not out there, however, it is important to note, that this guy is a bit of a fanciful daydreamer, and has a tendency to be lost in his own thoughts and illusions, a very Piscean type of fellow, if you will.  So, while he may be out there, he may also be distracted and on an entirely different path, which is currently not showing an intersection with yours.

Under today’s Scorpio Moon, you may be looking at your past and seeking the truth of it all. Scorpio demands nothing less, and while this card tends to be more reminiscent of fond memories, Mercury is, after all, retrograde. This card is so very well timed today, for this current Mercury Retrograde, which began at 29° Pisces (the end of the end – the last degree of the last sign), has been pushing you to review the things in your life that need repair, or elimination, so as to enter the next part of your journey as a truly fresh start.  The 4 of Cups is a card of assessment, different than the assessment associated with the 7 of Pentacles, whereas, here you have likely grown weary with the status quo, and need to look things over to decide what you like, and what you do not.

This is a pretty perfect card for today when you consider everything that is happening right now. Mercury, at 29° Pisces, retrogrades today through the 28th, Uranus, at 29° Aries, moves into Taurus tomorrow, and Chiron is at 0° Aries. We have some huge endings going on, ready to bring forth new beginnings.

When we look at the Judgement card, we typically see souls rising up, as an angel blows a trumpet. Important life moments are taking place now; your judgment at this point is critical. What are you being called to do? Answering a calling and making such choices very often lead one to a rebirth. Mercury will be leaving shadow on April 16, then entering Aries on the 17th. You will have clarity then and an understanding of this phase and why you were called upon for this judgment to be made.

I do not even know where to begin with this Tower today! Give it a week, not just a day. Yesterday, we had a runaway Wheel of Fortune, and today’s Tower card really packs a punch. It will definitely live up to its reputation this time. But, that does not make it bad at all. In reality, the entire month of March may feel like one big, crumbling Tower.

Expect the unexpected. Uranus has been sitting at that 29° Aries mark and will be moving into Taurus on the 6th. Typically, when Uranus changes signs, we see cataclysmic events, such as tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tornadoes, flooding…I think you get the picture. And it will be entering Taurus, the Earth Mother, so indeed you can expect Mother Nature to roar across the globe. We do not see this card on a frequent basis at all. It is definitely a favorite of pretty much everyone, and that could be due to the Wheel being known for bringing good luck. For certain, this is a very karmic card, all about fate, destiny, an an indicator of motion.

So, how do I feel about the Wheel of Fortune today? I was afraid you might ask! It is more like a Runaway Wheel! Uranus is perched at 29° Aries, ready to move into Taurus on the 6th, so, talk about things turning! The direction of many things can, and will, change in an instant. You can not stop the Wheel, as it is like the Fate Train switching tracks, with no one at the controls. The  biggest problem with intuition is recognizing it, when you have it, and ultimately learning to trust it.  Many people hear that little voice talking to them, but go ahead and proceed with their plans without heeding it.  This gives way to the famous saying that “Hindsight is 20/20”, but it never really does you much good to acknowledge those gut feelings after the fact, while smacking yourself in the head and yelling “I knew It!”

Currently, the Sun, Neptune, and Mercury are all in the intuitive sign of Pisces, but Mercury which rules thinking is in its shadow phase and preparing to retrograde in four days.  Bear in mind Pisces is also known for dreaming and wishful thinking and fantasizing, all well and good, if you can keep your reality sorted.  In other words, do not try to convince yourself of something which is really your dream, rather than…

I do not think today’s card could be more perfect, at least for me.  Many of you have commented and messaged over these last couple of days to check on me.  I have been doing this four years this June, and there has always been a Card of the Day.  We missed the 7 of Swords and the 4 of Pentacles, but today I am back with this beautiful 9 of Wands.  I daresay, I will not be cueing ‘Eye of the Tiger’ and attempting to ascend the steps of the Philadelphia Art Museum, but I am back, and as my other favorite 9 of Wands music would say ‘I’m Still Standing’, or in my case, I managed to get back up again.

And that really truly is the message embodied in the 9 of Wands…that persistence and determination to rise up once again, after being knocked down, sometimes weary…

With all the recent 29° activity in the Universe, it is highly probable that life has felt a bit off-kilter as of late. Mars is now at the beginning of Taurus, and today, Chiron, the wounded healer, moves into Aries until 2027. The only real extreme left to deal with is Uranus st 29°, which will enter Taurus on March 6. Today’s Temperance card has more of a leveling-off vibe today. It is time to restore some balance to your world.

Temperance is all about your focus, through patience, balance, and moderation. Having your focus distracted the last couple of weeks has certainly put life out of balance in an area or two. Today it begins to settle for a bit, but do not become too comfortable, as there is still Uranus with which to contend.

The King of Cups is my absolute favorite. He is a kind and gentle soul, generous and compassionate toward all living beings. It is possible he could cross your path today, or that this is even you, whether you are male or female. This Cool-as-a-Cucumber guy never sweats it; he keeps his emotions checked and is the one running toward harms way in times of crisis.

I do feel the need to mention that we are so close to the Full Moon at 0° Virgo, that this could bring up the exact opposite effect with some people. It is entirely possible to encounter someone who can not contain their emotions as this Full Moon approaches. Remember it is only a passing phase, so do not allow things to get out of hand.

Think back to life during the second half of April last year.  Did you enter some sort phase which you have been trying to bring to a conclusion?  I very often view the Hermit card as the proverbial light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel, and sometimes as the tunnel itself with the dim light of the lantern to show us the way.  Yesterday I spoke of not being able to see everything, and today’s card does not provide clarity either, but it does show that the proper guidance is available to traverse this portion of your path.

New Moon blessings, everyone!  Today is the New Moon in Aquarius at 15°. Welcome to February! Today it is time to pick up the reins of your life, jump in the driver seat, and get this show on the road. It does not matter that it is Friday, you can resume control of something today, and begin to feel as though you are putting life back on track.

I have been speaking of a square between Mars (action) and Pluto (transformation), and today you may feel compelled to take charge. I always try to stick with the most common of celestial happenings, but to explain our card today, I need to go one step further…Venus semi-sextile Pluto. It may become noticeable today that someone is more demanding of your attention, perhaps trying to keep you all to themselves.

Our 4 of Pentacles is a clingy little fellow, and this could come across as simple as your children asking that you look up from your phone and notice them, to a possessive lover who wants you to look in no direction but theirs. Some may view this as jealousy, but I see it more as an inability to share. This type of behavior may still be witnessed tomorrow as well when the Moon glides into possessive Scorpio. Just be sure that anything, or anyone, to which /whom you may be clinging, is worth keeping.

I am not a believer of coincidence.  The last time we saw this card was July 13, the day after the Cancer Solar Eclipse, and here we are again, very much in Eclipse energy following the Total Lunar Eclipse in Leo on the 21st.  Yesterday, we reached a turning point, and one way or the other, things are about to become interesting.  For a very long time, I have been referring to the battle between good and evil, and said that good would win, and I am certain many days you have doubted this.
