The Queen’s Prayer

Your loving mercy
Is as high as Heaven
And your truth
So perfect

I live in sorrow
Imprisoned
ʻYou are my light
Your glory, my support

Behold not with malevolent
The sins of man
But forgive
And cleanse

Protect us beneath your wings
And let peace be our portion
Now and forever more

Don’t know about microwave plasma energy, its characteristics and effects on the body? Here’s another must-listen …

The Cosmic Orgasm: Achieving Christ Consciousness, by Bill Donahue

If that title did not get your attention, I am not sure what will.

This is not a message I could present to a church, because it really does involve orgasm, and they do not talk about such things.

But the message that appears in ancient texts, once you go beyond the literal, speaks in a very adult way.  You can’t run from reality because it might offend you.

The Bible has Jesus saying this.

Matthew 7:23 I never knew you. Depart from me.

The Greek word for knew (oida), means sexual intercourse.

The Hebrew word for knew (yada) means sexual intercourse.

Here we have sexual intercourse being used as a symbol of the interaction between you and the Christ mind within you.

The Bible portrays Jesus as the bridegroom, and you as the bride.

Luke 5:34 Can the children of the bride chamber fast while the bridegroom is with them? But the time will come when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them.

The scripture portrays your touching the Christ within you as sexual intercourse. You must separate from thought, and come as a virgin mind to be penetrated by the Christ.

In other words you must know the Christ within you intimately.

And when you do, the orgasm will electrify your body, as it rises up the spine to the pineal gland of the brain.

Truly, what is called Kundalini, or the movement of energy through the seven seals of Revelation, is an orgasm.  An orgasm of energy that races through your entire body.

Then the child is born within you. The new mind is born within you.

It is not religion, or spirit.  It actually happens in an intercourse of great love within you.

It isn’t something you can pray about, sing about, or read about.

You have to do it.

Go, with the oil in your lamp, for the bridegroom is waiting.

Venus in Virgo 10/8, Mercury Stations Direct in Libra 10/9 : Coming Full Circle

starfaceastrology's avatarstarface astrology

Over the past couple of months, we experienced both Venus and Mercury stationing retrograde. Venus stationed retrograde at 1° Virgo on July 25th, and backtracked through the latter half of Leo, where it stationed direct on September 9th. On October 8th, Venus reaches Virgo again – likely, bringing to closure on some level, many of the issues we have been addressing since it stationed retrograde, as well as in a sense bringing us back to “where we were” around the end of July, with a fresh perspective and likely a change in values.

For more on Venus retrograde through Leo, check out Leaving The Comfort Zone

With Venus moving into Virgo, we are able to finally move forward beyond the ties to this most recent retrograde. Revisiting Leo allowed us another glimpse at the “big picture” in regard to our relationships, our finances and our values. Now in Virgo, we…

Health ~ Four Simple Ways To Change How You Eat

You’ve taken the first step by setting a goal. Now it’s time to start achieving it. Fitness is a vital part of life. And a vital part of being fit is eating right. If you want to be and feel your best in the body, then follow some of these ways to change your daily diet without going on a diet.
EAT MORE OFTEN
It may seem backward, but if you can eat five small meals a day, it will rev up your metabolism, keeping you from feeling tired and unmotivated to exercise.
LOOK AT THE SIDES
Avoid extra calories by opting for healthier sides. Exchange french fries for a side salad or fresh fruit. Or even better, just cut out sides altogether.
COLOR YOUR PLATE
Fill your plate with colorful foods such as fresh veggies and fruits. And because you know you’re eating healthy, you’ll feel better physically and mentally.
DRINK UP
Drinking water is one of the easiest things you can do to help you lose weight. Water jump-starts your metabolism and gives you energy.

The Protection Spell: A spell to shield you from all danger and negativity

runes_Algiz protection

This is about the gift of Divine Protection and how to invoke it using natural sources. This spell will allegedly create a radiant divine shield that can protect you from danger, physical and psychic alike.

A word of caution, remember that protection can manifest in many ways, for example, if you don’t date the guy you want or it turns out he is not what you think it was then that is a form of protection, it protects you from dating or engaging the wrong person. Protection does not only manifest as a barrier that doesn’t allow us to do things or limits us but it is also a way to self-develop, investing our time and energy wisely in order to become better.
Ingredients:
5 white candles
A carving instrument (a toothpick, a knife, an object with a sharp edge)
Incense: Cinnamon, myrrh, amber, sage, pepper, St John’s wort (use a combination that feels right for you)
Salt
Optional: A dressing oil of your preference (use an oil that makes you feel protected)
Now the first thing to do is choose the candle that represents you  and inscribe on it using your carving instrument the rune of protection, Algiz, which is shown below:
Algiz: The Rune of Protection
Then underneath it write your name or magical name or the way you prefer to be called. After all it is all about you 🙂
Place the candle in the middle and spread the other 4 candles around it in the 4 cardinal directions: East, South, West and North (use a compass for that), the candles should appear in a small circle in front of you with your personal candle in the center. Then spread the salt and form a circle surrounding all candles (not from candle to candle but a circle that surrounds all candles.).
Once done leave a pinch of salt on a small plate in front of you and light the incense.
Light the Eastern candle and say:
“Powers of Air, hear my call grant me your protection that is all i ask for!”
Light the Southern candle and say:
“ Powers of Fire, hear my call grant me your protection that is all i ask for!”
Light the Western candle and say:
“Powers of Water, hear my call grant me your protection that is all i ask for!”
Light the Northern candle and say:
“Powers of Earth, hear my call grant me your protection that is all i ask for!”
Then look above you and say:
“Powers of High, listen to my plea,
May I always be protected by thee!”
Light your candle and say:
“Banish my fears!
“I light with your light,
I am guarded, well-protected and with a shield I rise!”
Look at the flame and visualise a sacred light surrounding you, warm, radiant, loving, compassionate, soothing. Breathe that light and let it shine with every molecule of your body, you are one with it. Let your soul and aura shine with it. You are a Divine Child, you are sacred you are protected! You shine with the light of the Gods, the same light that shines in all creation in our world and other worlds! All is Great!
Open your eyes and proclaim:
“Air protects me!
Fire protects me!
Water protects me!
Earth protects me!
The God(s or Divine) protect(s) me!
I am whole again, with my shield I move on!”
Take the salt:
“Holy powers always protect me! Be one with me and guide me!”
Eat the salt and say:
“I now walk in circles of light! Well protected I let myself shine”
Thank the Elements and the Divine for their gift of protection. You may wish to leave gifts to them or make an offering of wine or milk and honey to the earth, I leave that part up to you.
Let the candles burn and bury the remains. Sprinkle the salt from the circle in running water. The light of the Divine is always with you! You are protected and Divine!

Divination and Mirror Magic

Magical MAgic Mirror Divination magic water magic angel
Divination has uncountable techniques most of them can be categorized by the means we use to achieve the “sight”. A very common way of Divination is the use of a Mirror. This is because Mirrors are associated with the Element of Water which like Hydromancy is the most powerful element as far as Intuition and Divination is concerned. The other reason we use the Mirrors is that because they are very practical magical Portals, but this is something really advanced and we will get to that later.
The following technique is created and adopted for those who want to find out if someone you love and lives far away from you is OK. This is a way to discretely check on your child or your friend, your family, practically anyone you want. But remember never to misuse magic and divination by “spying” on someone. Black Magic always comes with a price even though you never expect it!
TIP! Know the difference between concern and curiosity. There is no easy answer of what is Black or White but certainly trying to break someone’s Free Will is Black Magic and is always punishable by Karma. Learn how to help but also learn when to stop!
This technique is preferably done by night on your room. You will need a big mirror enough to see a big part of your body, not just your head. This will help with your visualization. When you master the technique you will be able to work it with even a tiny mirror but first do it with a large one.
Before Starting burn Bay leaves in your room or incense blends that include Frankincense, Benzoin and Copal resins.
Light a blue candle (representing Water), or a silver candle (representing the Moon) or a light blue candle (representing Air). If you light the blue one your intuition will be enhanced, the silver one will energize your “third eye” chakra while the light blue one will empower your telepathic abilities. For this technique all three candles are suitable. Pick your favorite and light it. Put it somewhere on your room, letting it be the only source of Light.
You can pray to your Guardian Angel to help you improve your Divination skills, or you pray to your God/s or Goddess/es. Very suitable for this is Apollo, God of Prophecy!
Stand in front of a mirror naked. The distance between you and the mirror should be 3-4 feet / 1 meter approximately.
Now, do a Relaxation Breathing technique and clear your mind.
Now stare on the Mirror and see yourself. Now visualize yourself changing to whom you want to see. Visualize the person you want to check if he is OK. Try to see him for 1-2 minutes in every detail you can. See his hair, see his eyes, remember the way he/she looks at you. Remember the feeling you had when he/she was around you. Feel his/her presence!
Now let your Sight notice anything changing on the image. Does he/she look happy? Does he/she look sad? Inspired? Tired? Scared? Satisfied? Try to notice every change you “see”!
Does anything appear with his/her image? A bird? A third person? A symbol possibly?
You can even ask him/her: “Are you OK?” and wait for the answer.

TIP! The technique is very simple but remember Water Magic’s key is to keep on practicing for a long time!  As water takes time to erode a rock so is the Water Magic. Its really really powerful but you have to be patient and persistent (in a matter of time not try).Little practice every day and you will be amazed by the results!

No Joke! First Bioluminescent Sea Turtle Discovered!

Scientists Discover the First Biofluorescent Reptile, a ‘Glowing’ Hawksbill Sea Turtle

No this isn’t a clip from the latest Miyazaki anime, this is the first sighting of a real fluorescent turtle.

Marine biologist David Gruber of City University of New York, was recently in the Solomon Islands to film a variety of biofluorescent fish and coral, when suddenly a completey unexpected sight burst into the frame: a glowing yellow and red sea turtle. The creature is a critically endangered hawksbill sea turtle, and until this sighting last July, the phenomenon had never been documented in turtles, let alone any other reptile.

Biofluorescence is the ability for an organism to reflect blue light and re-emit it as a different color, not to be confused with bioluminescence, where organisms produce their own light.

Many undersea creatures like coral, sharks, and some shrimp have shown the ability to show single green, red, or orange colors under the right lighting conditions, but according to National Geographic, no organisms have shown the ability to emit two distinct colors like the hawksbill. As seen in the video, the coloring appears not only in mottled patterns on the turtle’s shell, but even extends within the cracks of its head and feet. Gruber mentions this could be a mixture of both glowing red glowing algae attached to the turtle, but the yellow fluorescence is undoubtedly part of the animal.

Watch the video above to see the moment of discovery and learn more on Nat Geo.

Theosophy ~ Races of Giants, excerpted from Blavatsky’s “The Secret Doctrine”

TTS-logo

That which is known and accepted is, that several races of gigantic men have existed and left distinct traces. In the journal of the Anthropological Institute (Vol. 1871, art. by Dr. C. Carter Blake) such a race is shown as having existed at Palmyra and possibly in Midian, exhibiting cranial forms quite different from those of the Jews. It is not improbable that another such race existed in Samaria, and that the mysterious people who built the stone circles in Galilee, hewed neolithic flints in the Jordan valley and preserved an ancient Semitic language quite distinct from the square Hebrew character — was of a very large stature. The English translations of the Bible can never be relied upon, even in their modern revised forms. They tell us of the Nephilim, translating the word by “giants,” and further adding that they were “hairy” men, probably the large and powerful prototypes of the later satyrs so eloquently described by the patristic fancy; some of the Church Fathers assuring their admirers and followers that they had themselves seen these “Satyrs” — some alive, others pickled and preserved. The word “giants” being once adopted as a synonym of Nephilim, the commentators have since identified them with the sons of Anak. The filibusters who seized on the Promised Land, found a pre-existing population far exceeding their own in stature, and called it a race of giants. But the races of really gigantic men had disappeared ages before the birth of Moses. This tall people existed in Canaan, and even in Bashan, and may have had representatives in the Nabatheans of Midian. They were of far greater stature than the undersized Jews. Four thousand years ago their cranial conformation and large stature separated them from the children of Heber. Forty thousand years ago their ancestors may have been of still more gigantic size, and four hundred thousand years earlier they must have been in proportion to men in our days as the Brobdingnagians were to the Lilliputians. The Atlanteans of the middle period were called the Great Dragons, and the first symbol of their tribal deities, when the “gods” and the Divine Dynasties had forsaken them, was that of a giant Serpent.
The mystery veiling the origin and the religion of the Druids, is as great as that of their supposed fanes is to the modern Symbologist, but not to the initiated Occultists. Their priests were the descendants of the last Atlanteans, and what is known of them is sufficient to allow the inference that they were eastern priests akin to the Chaldeans and Indians, though little more. It may be inferred that they symbolized their deity as the Hindus do their Vishnu, as the Egyptians did their Mystery God, and as the builders of the Ohio Great-Serpent mound worshipped theirs — namely under the form of the “mighty Serpent,” the emblem of the eternal deity TIME (the Hindu Kala). Pliny called them the “Magi of the Gauls and Britons.” But they were more than that. The author of “Indian Antiquities” finds much affinity between the Druids and the Brahmins of India. Dr. Borlase points to a close analogy between them and the Magi of Persia1; others will see an identity between them and the Orphic priesthood of Thrace: simply because they were connected, in their esoteric teachings, with the universal Wisdom Religion, and thus presented affinities with the exoteric worship of all.

Like the Hindus, the Greeks and Romans (we speak of the Initiates), the Chaldees and the Egyptians, the Druids believed in the doctrine of a succession of worlds, as also in that of seven “creations” (of new continents) and transformations of the face of the earth, and in a seven-fold night and day for each earth or globe (See “Esoteric Buddhism“). Wherever the Serpent with the egg is found, there this tenet was surely present. Their Dracontia are a proof of it. This belief was so universal that, if we seek for it in the esotericism of various religions, we shall discover it in all. We shall find it among the Aryan Hindus and Mazdeans, the Greeks, the Latins, and even among the old Jews and early Christians, whose modern stocks hardly comprehend now that which they read in their Scriptures. See what Seneca says in Epistle 9, and Quaest. Nat. III., c., ult.: “The world being melted and having re-entered the bosom of Jupiter, this god continues for some time to remain absorbed in himself and concealed, wholly immersed in contemplation. After which a new world springs from him. . . . An innocent race of men and animals are produced anew . . . etc.” Then again when speaking of periodical mundane dissolution involving universal death, he (Seneca) says that “when the laws of nature shall be buried in ruin, and the last day of the world shall come, the southern pole shall crush, as it falls, all the regions of Africa, and the North pole shall overwhelm all the countries beneath its axis. The affrighted sun shall be deprived of its light; the palace of heaven falling to decay shall produce at once both life and death, and some kind of dissolution shall equally seize upon all deities, who thus shall return into their original chaos” (Quoted in “Book of God,” p. 160.)

One might imagine oneself reading the Purânic account by Parasâra of the greatPralaya. It is nearly the same thing, idea for idea. Has Christianity nothing of the kind? It has, we say. Let the reader open any English Bible and read chapter iii. of the Second Epistle of Peter, from verse iii. till the xivth, and he will find there the same ideas. . . . “There shall come in the last days scoffers . . . saying, ‘where is the promise of his coming? . . . . Since the fathers fell asleep all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.’ For, they are ignorant . . . . that by the word of God the heavens were of old, andthe earth standing out of the water and in the water: whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. But the heavens and the earth that are now, are reserved unto the fire . . . . wherein the heavens . . . . shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat . . . . we nevertheless look for new heavens and new earth, etc., etc.” If the interpreters chose to see in this a reference to creation, the deluge, and the promised coming of Christ, when they will live in a new Jerusalem in heaven, this is no fault of “Peter.” What the writer of the Epistles meant was the destruction of this Fifth Race of ours by subterranean fires and inundations, and the appearance of new continents for the Sixth Root-Race. For the writers of these Epistles were all learned in symbology if not in the sciences.

1 But the Magi of Persia were never Persians — not even Chaldeans. They came from a far-off land, the Orientalists being of opinion that the said land was Media. This may be so, but from what part of Media? To this we receive no answer.

Lana’s Blessing For You

St. Francis

May God bless you with a restless discomfort about easy answers, half-truths, and superficial relationships, so that you may seek truth boldly and love deep within your heart.

May God bless you with holy anger at injustice, oppression, and exploitation of people, so that you may tirelessly work for justice, freedom, and peace among all people.

May God bless you with the gift of tears to shed for those who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation, or the loss of all that they cherish, so that you may reach out your hand to comfort them and transform their pain into joy.

May God bless you with enough foolishness to believe that you really can make a difference in this world, so that you are able, with God’s grace, to do what others claim cannot be done.

Pohaku La’au ~ Healing Crystals Color Guide

Understanding the Power of Color in Crystals

Crystal Vaults |  The realization that color has influence over the human mind is as old as recorded history. What is difficult is to separate out the fact from the fiction. Colors have many meanings to people mostly based on their culture and religion.

But the natural crystals and minerals have no culture and no religion. They are a part of the Earth. Their color influence rays stay the same.

We see “red” when angry, and red inspires us to action. We are “blue” when sad. Yellow warms us. Green slows us down both mentally and physically.

The fundamental meanings of colors have been present in the wisdom of all cultures, but somewhat confusing and occasionally misinterpreted. But with the research of today’s practitioners of biology, biochemistry, and physics, we can sort truth from fiction.

Based on extensive research in both the history and tradition of talismans and the more modern human psychological studies of the fundamental effects of color on human bodies and minds, we now know the real, natural effects of gemstone, crystal and mineral color influence rays. This wisdom is captured in the Great Talismanic Color Wheel of Influence.

The Color Wheel of Life and Crystals-

color wheel

This Great Wheel of Life shows the entire year and the entire color spectrum as they naturally flow – bringing you the knowledge of your place and time.

On the Great Wheel the colors flow from the dark indigos and blues of the winter sky through the promise of spring in the melting turquoise waters of the brooks and lakes as they are freed of ice. The colors change to the greens of spring, then to the bright yellows of the hot summer sun. The colors then start to darken, first to the oranges and reds of the autumn leaves then further as the Earth moves into winter, more into the amethysts, violets, and indigos of the now barren landscapes devoid of most plants, but still vibrant with the natural earth tones of the minerals and rocks.

Your True, Natural Birthstone

The natural color wheel shows the progression of life and color on the planet earth. In contrast to astrologicial signs and other birthstone lists, the color wheel shows us the color of our birth time on earth. The second ring of the wheel indicates the time associated with the colors. The wheel actually is read in counterclockwise order. Start from the winter solstice at the top and follow the color wheel and the year around to the left. The second inner ring shows the days of the year as the year and the color changes progress through the greens of spring, the yellows of summer, and the reds of autumn.

Not only is the Talismanic Color Wheel of Influence a depiction of the natural order of life through the year, it is also a depiction of the natural order of human life. The year starts as the days become longer at the Winter Equinox. Our lives start at birth. Our lives swing around the same wheel. We start as babies helpless and trusting to other for our care. Then, like other parts of nature, in our springtime of life we experience a period of rapid physical and intellectual growth as we find our way to adulthood and maturity. And, just like other life on Earth, a high summer period of young adulthood occurs when we have the enthusiasm, joy, and physical vigor of youth. We then have usually found our mates and paths and, as we mature into full adulthood, the time of passion arrives. We have found our loves, both physical and spiritual. As we mature and gather experience our lives turn inward with reflection and we see things for their real value. In the fall of our lives, our insights and understanding of our place in the cosmos grows.  And we, in the winter of our lives realize periods of high creativity, and growing wisdom.

The Talismanic Color Wheel of Influence shows us the dual nature of color and influence. It shows us that our cycles as people are aligned with the natural cycles of nature. Upon refection, how could this not be so?  We are products of this earth.

A Well-Traveled Path To Inner Peace, by Nick Polizzi

live_your_wayThe word below has been hailed in just about every major spiritual text, it is the centerpiece of hundreds of songs (rock, folk, and even opera), and if used properly, it can create almost immediate transformation in your life.

The word is forgiveness.

Over the past month I’ve had the honor of meeting with a few people who miraculously healed themselves of serious illness.  In these conversations, one word has come up repeatedly as being the secret to their recovery. You guessed it.

We learn about forgiving others when we’re young, but somehow when we get older and more set in our ways, this simple act can become elusive.  Life is funny that way, right?  Often when we find ourselves in a life “predicament”, we just need to revisit the basic travel tips that were laid out for us early on.

“To err is human, to forgive divine.” – Alexander Pope

What is actually happening during this godly act?  One thing is for sure, we are doing the unthinkable.  We are defying every impulse that has led us to associate an individual with pain and suffering.  Rather than continuing a tempting pattern, we are hitting the reverse switch and flooding unconditional love and compassion back into the equation.

Unconditional love and compassion.  These three power words feel so right, but sometimes it’s hard to find a cut and dried, no B.S. way to work them into our reality.  When we’ve made a decision about someone after they’ve broken our trust, it can be very difficult to overturn our initial ruling and do the opposite.

A backdoor approach that helps us get around the ego and be less rigid is a regular forgiveness practice. This is absolutely critical if you are trying to recover from an illness naturally.

Wisdom of the ages

Whether you’re talking to an Amazonian shaman, a bush medicine woman from the Caribbean or a granny healer from North Carolina, they’ll most likely tell you that herbs, prayers, and energy techniques are only part of the healing picture.

My friend Christine, a granny healer from North Carolina, pretty much summed it up last week when we were talking about a few cancer patients she was helping. She is too humble to tell most people this, but Christine has helped a number of folks heal their cancer naturally over the past few decades. Many of them would tell you they owe her their lives.

According to her, “The herbs and other interventions won’t do a lick of good if the patient doesn’t have their life right.  All the natural medicine in the world can’t undo a toxic relationship with another or one with yourself.”

Her first prescription for her patients is a daily forgiveness practice.

“Sometimes we must do the unthinkable if we are to experience the impossible.” ~ Unknown

It is a common shamanic understanding that spiritual and energetic blocks are what lie at the center of disease.  If this is the case, then consider your grudges and resentments to be the bricks and mortar of these walls of inner stagnation. The fastest way to dissolve them and begin recirculating life force is through forgiveness.

The biggest misconception around the term forgive is that this act is mainly benefitting the “offender”. “He insulted me and I was angry, but you know it’s been a long time and he’s learned his lesson, so I guess I’ll forgive him.”  In this context, forgiveness is considered a sacrifice we make to take the moral high road.

But what about the benefit to us, the “offended”, who have been wasting countless hours stewing, fearing, belaboring, plotting, regretting – all sour mental activities that do not lead to a harmonious existence?

Like a rising tide, forgiveness floats all ships, including our own. And we all know someone, whether friend or foe, who is ripe for a pardon.

Forgiving ain’t easy.  Sometimes it can feel darn near impossible. Our rational mind has a set of black and white rules accompanied by some absolute no-fly-zones. When these boundaries are violated, it can be hard for us to lower the drawbridge again.

This is the real work.  No smoke and mirrors or fancy candlelit ceremonies – just you and your truth.

If you are to truly thrive in this life, grudges and resentment have no place in your spiritual or physical organism. There is a reason this is spoken about in every major religion on earth – our health, happiness, and the well being of our cherished loved ones depend on it.

So where to start?

Below is a very simple forgiveness practice that you can try right now.  If it moves you, keep it in your back pocket for regular use.  But most importantly, find some way to integrate forgiveness for yourself and others into your spirit path.  For those of you that already do this actively, a gentle reminder never hurt anyone, now did it? ☺

A simple forgiveness practice:

1. Write out on a piece of paper any relationship that immediately comes to mind when you think of forgiveness.  If that doesn’t work, think of the one or two people in your life that you have an unresolved conflict with. I would advise you use a pen and paper for this – it helps to get yourself off the computer screen and really take some space for this.

2. For each person, write out exactly what it is that created the sense of uneasiness, offense, or negativity.  Be as specific as possible as these thoughts and beliefs are what hold the charge in us.

3. Feel into the memory: put yourself in that situation once again and remember the pain or discomfort that you experienced from what your “forgivee” did or said.  Sometimes looking at a picture of the person for this part is very powerful (Facebook can be a sacred helper here!).

4. Cultivate empathy: it is much easier to forgive someone when we can imagine what it’s like to be them.  Flip the script and try to imagine what they were feeling, what challenges they were facing, how they were suffering when they committed the act.

(I’ve gotten into this weird habit of over-sympathizing with the other driver when I get cut off in traffic.  I tell myself that I have no idea what kind of day they are having or where they are speeding off to.  Could be the hospital, could be a terrible job they hate…  Might be none of those, but this practice immediately brings in compassion – I’ll take it.)

5. Repeat this as many times as it takes until you feel the emotional intensity around the scenario begin to ease.  If you begin to feel compassion for the other person, it might be time to pick up the phone, or pull out the stationary and bring conscious closure to this issue.  Whether that means rekindling a friendship, or a peaceful pardon before moving on.

6. Be patient: real and lasting forgiveness doesn’t happen instantaneously.  It can take time.  This is why an ongoing forgiveness practice like this can be so beneficial.

Today’s Meditation

This moment is ineffably intimate; it cannot be any other way. This moment is always here; it never leaves you, it never abandons you or runs away from you or hides from you. Wherever you are, this moment is here with you, right up close, always giving itself to you. There are no pretenses, no defenses, no masks. This moment is always as it is … raw, naked, shameless, fully itself.

This moment gives everything to you. It’s the full depth and breadth of every experience, every permutation, every possibility, every phenomenal display. All this is given unconditionally – the horror, the terror, the agony, the beauty and the ecstasy – it is all here.

Take a moment to rest here, allow yourself to open to all that is … can you get a sense of the incredible tapestry of life? Can you sense the exquisiteness and richness of this? Can you see how every wave that appears in the field of your perception is unique, and that there are an infinite number of waves?

No two waves are ever the same; each moment is born afresh, anew … what endless creativity! All this is for you, totally and utterly for you and no-one else! The whole world is created just for you! This moment is truly in love with you, completely devoted to you.

And this love is limitless, unbounded; it does not deny you anything. This love is not conditional on whether you give something back or whether you give nothing back. It has nothing to do with whether you love this moment, whether you hate this moment, whether you are at peace with this moment, or at war with this moment. It is here, come what may … and whether you are here or not!

OCTOBER 2015 FORECASTS – by Theresa Reed

Monthly fun and easy to understand forecasts just for you!

Theresa Reed  |  This month will feel like a sweet wind down after last month’s busy cosmic action.  For one thing, Venus will leave dramatic Leo and head into reserved Virgo on the 8th.  Venus will also be finally out of the shadow period of the retrograde which means we can now begin to iron out the little details and issues that may have cropped up this summer. Venus in Virgo emphasizes practicality and service.  The best path in any relationship this month comes when we take a common sense approach to issues and are willing to put our partner first.  Venus is sometimes inhibited or critical in Virgo, so watch those tendencies to nitpick or hold back.  Instead, ask yourself: how can I help?  From that standpoint, you can find better ways to nurture the relationship.  If you feel a need to offer criticism, try to be constructive.

It may be easier to offer your opinions after Mercury goes retrograde on the 9th.  Last month brought out a lot of passive-aggressive action.  Mercury direct in Libra seeks justice and truth but he’s always tactful.  You’ll get further in every relationship (romance, business, family) if you exercise good judgment and practice clear but kind communication (this will be less of a problem once that retrograde is over).

With Saturn firmly rooted in blunt Sagittarius, we are discovering our truths but also learning to recognize that our truth may not be someone else’s.  The year ahead is good for learning tolerance, even if we do not share the same belief systems.  Feel free to espouse your beliefs but make sure you’re not being imposing.  Live and let live.  As the old saying goes, different strokes for different folks. Respect that.

Annnndddd here’s your personal scopes:

Aries:  October is going to be an important month for relationships, dear Aries. With the Sun gracing your 7th house, you have opportunities galore to learn more about yourself through your one-on-one relationships.  Mercury is retrograde in the same house, allowing you to see how you are communicating – or not.  Are you being considerate of your partner’s needs?  Or are you hell bent on getting your own way at all costs?  Examine your self and you may discover that your recent relationship issues are yours to own and yours to fix.  It may be easier to do that once Mercury goes direct on the 9th.  Aries is known for being aggressive – put that energy into your work this month instead of personal relationships. Your ruling planet, Mars is hanging out in your 6th house of work all month long, giving you ample opportunity to kick some ass.  A valiant effort leads to kudos and a trail of competitors in your dust, wondering how you managed to pull that off.

Taurus: Your biggest power will come through your ability to lead your coworkers through the fog, dear Taurus. With the Sun shining in your 6th house, this is not the time to wait for someone else to take the helm.  Look at where the problems lie and take charge.  Mercury is retrograde until the 9th, which means communication or technology issues on the job could bring strife but this will smooth out as the month progresses.  Don’t let any of that break you out into a cold sweat.  Keep your eyes on the prize and lead your herd like a boss (even if you’re not technically the head honcho). Your slow and steady leadership style is what’s needed now. By month’s end, your focus moves to love. Your romantic life is ready to heat up.  Sparks fly and passion rules.  Give in to your desires and fuel that fire. (PS if you are looking to add another member to your family, this may the right month to start that action happening.)

Gemini: You’re normally glib as can be but Mercury retrograde has been causing you to stammer more than usual, dear Gemini.  It’s looming in the 5th house along with the Sun, which gives you creative power but trouble expressing yourself fully.  By the 9th, that will be a distant memory when Mercury (thankfully) turns direct and you’re back to your witty best.  This is going to be especially evident if you are involved in a creative or teaching career.  Children will bring exasperation at the beginning of October but by month’s end, you’re ready to don a costume and go trick or treating with them.  Your star rises at work after the 23rd, when the Sun enters your 6th house.  You may be getting some unexpected praise or a promotion before the month ends.

Cancer:  Cancer loves taking care of their family and being at the center of all things home.  This month finds you in that rightful place, dear Cancer, and you’re going to make everything all right (you always do).  Mercury retrograde in your 4th house may have dredged up some family drama but that will be coming to an end when it turns direct on the 9th.  Play cautious diplomat until then.  With the Sun also here, that won’t be hard. You can be the hero in the family drama with courage and stamina. This month is also great for taking care of your home.  Clear out the clutter, straighten your closets, and do a deep fall clean if you can. You’ll feel better if you have divine order in your living space.  At work, extra responsibilities might feel like a drag but suck it up.  There are rewards in the distance.  Commit to your hustle and trust that it will pay off.

Leo: October starts off with a bit of the blues.  Blame it on Mercury retrograde sitting in your 3rd house, dear Leo.  No worries as that will be changing on the 9th when it goes direct.  In the meantime (and actually most of this month), take short jaunts.  Get out into your neighborhood.  Call your siblings and chew the fat.  Focus on getting out of your head as much as you can and soon that bummer vibe will lift and you’ll be your old sunny self again.  At the end of the month, you’ll be in better surroundings as well.  The Sun enters your 4th house on the 23rd, and this mark a period of domestic bliss.  Buy a home, decorate your current pad, or invite friends over for cocktails.  You’ll be less bored if you are channeling Martha Stewart (a fellow Leo). Your 2nd house of money is blessed all month long so feel free to invest in your home or a trip overseas.  You’ll be able to recoup that in no time.

Virgo: You, dear Virgo, are a productive genius all month long.  So much so that you’re moving right through that Mercury retrograde like a whirling dervish with hot blades in each hand.  No matter what life has thrown you lately, you’re cutting through that b.s. and showing the universe who the real boss is.  Jupiter and Mars in your sign are giving you fire power and oodles of luck.  It’s up to you to make the most of that now.  In October, you’re going to see that showing up in your bank account right after Mercury goes direct on the 9th in your 2nd house, which is also occupied by the Sun until the 23rd.  A raise, unexpected windfall or a boatload of new clients leaves you flush with cash.  Use it wisely even though you may be tempted to spend it on bits and bobs.  Instead, wait until you see where it’s best needed.  That will show up next month so hold tight and stay awesome until then.

Libra:  Happy birthday, dear Libra!  What are you wishing for this year?  Think carefully and put that energy out to the Universe.  It may not show up until your birthday next year when lucky Jupiter enters your sign but don’t let that stop you from setting that intention.  What you put out now will manifest so get to stepping on that wishing ‘n manifesting biz.  At the beginning of the month, you’re coming out of an awkward Mercury retrograde which didn’t allow for you to put your best foot forward.  Some setbacks may have derailed your trail of glitter but you’ll get back on track after the 9th when it turns direct.  Lovely Venus enters your 12th house right around the same time.  This could bring a secret admirer forward or an opportunity for a red hot affair.  Don’t be impulsive even though fiery Mars is saying “go for it”.  Wait until the smoke clears next month when your beer goggles might have an entirely different picture.

Scorpio: Your friends want to hang with you.  You just “vant to be alone.”  How to find that balance, dear Scorpio?  It won’t be easy but it can be done.  With Mars and Jupiter in your 11th house of friends, you’ll have invites galore and lots of exciting events to consider.  But the Sun in the 12th along with Mercury (retrograde at the beginning of the month) will find that your power is best conserved for quiet times and meditation.  The best solution: joining your pals for a silence retreat in the mountains.  Can’t manage that?  Then be discerning about what you say yes to. That same rule applies to work.  Do a stellar job like you always do but don’t take on more than you can reasonably handle.  When Mercury goes direct on the 9th, you’ll find it’s best to keep some things to yourself.  What you say may be held against you so keep your opinions or top secret projects under the radar until next month when you get the green light to shout it out loud.

Sagittarius:  With Saturn now fully in your sign, you may be feeling the rumblings of a you-revolution (a revo-you-tion?).  The summer was spent pondering your next incarnation and now is the time to begin actively working on it.  How do you want to define yourself?  How do you want to be seen?  Be clear on who you are becoming and start shearing away the old you.  Your 11th house is light up with the Sun and Mercury, which may find you getting nudges from your social circle to get out a bit more.  But is that what you really want?  Or are you outgrowing certain pals and pastimes that once felt right.  Take a close look at your companions and begin assessing which ones match the you that you are becoming.  After Mercury goes direct, you may want to start easing into new directions and communities.  Your career is smoking hot all month long.  Even if you’re bored with what you’re doing, you are still killing it.  Accolades and appreciation remind you how talented you are, superstar.

Capricorn: This month may start out with a few hiccups at work, dear Capricorn, but don’t you let it dampen your mood.  Troublemaker Mercury is retrograde in your 10th house of career until the 9th so a few problems may arise, especially with communication.  You’ve got oodles of Sun power helping you to hold down the fort and lead with confidence.  If issues pop up, step up to the challenge and show ‘em how it’s done.  You’ll be getting some just rewards once Mercury begins cooperating on the 9th.  October is fabulous for travel. If you can make time to sneak away this month, do it. Even a staycation holed up at home with the cell phone off will do you good.  With Venus in the 9th on the 8th, you might want to bring someone snuggly with you and make it all sexy ‘n stuff.

Aquarius: October may find you craving more travel, especially if September had you hitting the road.  With the Sun in your 9th house until the 23rd, it’s perfectly fine for you to set your sights on another destination.  Try to schedule your plans after the 9th, when Mercury will be direct.  If you can’t put it off until then, try to be patient should any snafus arise.  After the 8th, romantic Venus will head into your 8th house, where Mars and Jupiter are currently palling around.  This is very good for your finances but also for your sex life.  You’ll either be getting more loot or more booty.  Maybe both.  (A rich lover?)  As the ever-clever Charlie Sheen would say: winning!

Pisces:  Keep a close eye on your finances at the beginning of this month, dear Pisces.  Mercury is retrograde until the 9th, which could lead to a wee setback, especially if you are trying to get a loan or are waiting on some money due to you.  You’ll also want to be careful about signing contracts, especially if there is cash money involved.  Read the fine details carefully before putting your John Hancock on anything. Things will start to move forward once Mercury is direct.  Venus heads into your 7th house of relationships on the 8th, where it forms a stellium with feisty Mars and lucky Jupiter.  What does that mean?  Romantic opportunities magnify.  You’re hotter than normal.  Your aura screams: wine me and dine me.  Work that magic and enjoy the results!

September 30th and October 1st

Sepetmber 30th is a day to capture your ideas.  Sun conjoins Mercury (retrograde).  But, Sun/Mercury quincunx Neptune leads to confusion in areas of communication and transportation.  You may not be able to act on them, but do capture those creative ideas.  Review them after October 9th and see which ones are worth your efforts.  This problem with the quincunx affects October 1st as well.

On Wednesday when Mercury meets the Sun again, there’s a chance we may feel the need to express our thoughts fully, but retrograde motion of Mercury may cause us to speak before we think.

A fortunate grand trine among the TaurusMoon, Jupiter and Pluto also in earth signs generates a compulsive emotional need to grow beyond ones’ boundaries.

But with the Sun out of step with Neptune don’t allow frustration to take a toll.

Mercury making a minor yet unstable connection to Mars causes minds to be restless into evening hours.

MERCURY Retro in LI meets the SUN today Sept 30:
Ahhh, yes, we’re also half-way through the Mercury retro phase now – the Eclipse took center stage, but hey, it’s been also trickster time since Sept 17, until Oct 9.
So, what’s going on today, on that retro half-way point?
MERCURY will pass the SUN – at 7:38 am PDT – and from then on travel again behind the SUN (as a Morning Star, rising before the SUN soon).
This shift is the most significant purpose of the Mercury retro phase: There has been a tendency for Mind (Mercury) with its ‘old stories’ to run the show as Mercury has been ahead of the Sun in the Zodiac in the last 2 months. As in every Mercury retro phase (3 times a year), MERCURY is ‘lassoed in’ by the SUN, and Spirit, Consciousness, the Heart go on the ‘driver’s seat’…

Theosophy ~ from The Book of Dzyan, by H.P. Blavatsky

A moment’s thought shows that such a state can only be symbolized; to describe it, is impossible. Nor can it be symbolized except in negatives; for, since it is the state of Absoluteness per se, it can possess none of those specific attributes which serve us to describe objects in positive terms. Hence that state can only be suggested by the negatives of all those most abstract attributes which men feel rather than conceive, as the remotest limits attainable by their power of conception.
