Card of the Day – Queen of Swords – Sunday, February 25, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

And, here she is! Yes, we are approaching a Full Moon in only four days, but our Queen of Swords does feel as though she has an important reason for her appearance today. Remember, her positive attributes can serve you well. She is able to look at situations very clearly, setting emotion aside, and having the clarity of focus which is necessary to organize and prioritize an area of life which needs attention.

I would be remiss if I did not touch upon her wicked tongue, as the Full Moon approaches, but truly, to embrace her positive side today can serve you well with the tasks before you.

See you here tomorrow!

This Mint Chocolate Chip Ketogenic Snack Is The Secret To Balanced Blood Sugar & Healthy Mitochondria

Enter the Keto diet, a way of low-carb, high-fat (LCHF) eating. The fat bomb is a signature dessert or snack of the diet, filled with satiating healthy fats. My version uses coconut oil and coconut butter, which have medium-chain fatty acids that help feed your mitochondria (amazing for energy and longevity). They’re nutrient-dense and totally delicious. Better yet? With just seven ingredients total, they couldn’t be easier to make!  […]

Pohaku La’au: 12 Things You Always Wanted To Know About Crystals

Any way you slice it, crystals are having a moment. So when we asked the BuzzFeed Community what they wanted to know about these seemingly mystical rocks, they answered with questions that ranged from “How the heck do they work?” to “How can crystals help me from being stressed out?” Clearly we needed someone with some kind of authority on the topic, and that’s where Heather Askinosie, crystal expert, co-founder of Energy Muse, and co-author of Crystal Muse: Everyday Rituals to Tune into the Real You comes in. She took the time to go through the questions you sent in and was kind enough to share her ~sage~ advice for you below.  […]

Tourmaline or The Wisdom Stone

Anima Mundi's avatarAnima Mundi Crystals

Tourmaline or The Wisdom Stone is the most versatile of minerals for its uses in therapy are as  multiple as the colours it displays. Classified in function of its mineral elements we have seven distinct categories worth mentioning even thou the classification is for the one colour tourmaline, as follows: Dravite(brown, yellow, green, gray), Elbaite( all colours including colourless), Indicolite(Blue ), Rubelite( Red, Pink), Verdelite( Green), Schorl(Black) and Uvite(clear brown to dark brown).

rubelite Rubelite Tourmaline

Spiritualy, from this point of view the multicoloured Elbaite helps to concentrate the spirit, the soul, the logic and the body in a harmonic unity. Beginning from this “totality” wisdom and creativity will develop. The Indicolite powers the will for spiritual liberty. The Dravite stimulates social sense, the disposition to help and social compromise. The Verdelite provides vital happiness and incites us to be grateful for the miracles of life. The Rubelite makes us…

3 Herbs For Spellwork

kiki's avatarMinimal Witch

Herbs are one of the most crucial elements within spell work in my opinion. They possess a variety of useful properties and emit natural energies that are beneficial in whatever you’re trying to achieve.
As a minimalist, I try to keep things as simple as possible and not be overwhelmed by lots of different things. While this can be restrictive, I believe the following herbs can be used in all types of white magick to generate the desired effects.

Sage

Sage is probably the most basic yet important herb in any magickal artillery. Whilst outside of magick it has wonderful healing properties to aid coughs, colds and flu it also aids memory recall, detoxes the liver and acts as an antihistamine to name a few benefits.

Within magick its most common use is creating a smudge stick. This involves binding the herb into a bundle and burning the tip to…

Void Moon then a very busy day on the 25th

Eliza Bassett's avatarEyes of Heaven

We’re a week past the last eclipse. Please attend to your energetic space by doing a thorough cleansing, re-setting boundaries. Gently and kindly escort any non-human energy visitors back to their home domain. Sweep up any leftover energy, asking it to be taken to wherever in creation it is food. Be sure to close all entry/exit ways when they are gone. Peace to all.

Card of the Day – The World – Friday, February 23, 2018

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

img_3749Life is full of cycles…daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, even minute by minute. Therefore, even in the most mundane of circumstances, things are perpetually ending and beginning. It is doubtful right now that events around you are the least bit mundane, given the fact that we are still in eclipse season for another week.

As we proceed through the cylces of life, doors close, and doors open, giving birth to a new era. I always equate this card to crossing a Finish Line and encountering a Starting Line. With each phase of your journey that you have experienced has come some form of wisdom. As you enter through that doorway to see what comes next, be sure to take that acquired wisdom with you to guide you on your way.

See you here tomorrow!
