Lāʻau Lāpaʻau | Chamomile Reduces Testosterone Levels in Women with PCOS

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarCrooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder found in women of childbearing age. The main underlying disordered metabolism issues in PCOS are insulin resistance and hyperandrogenism. Characteristic manifestations can include irregular or infrequent or no menses, infertility, hirsutism, hair loss, and weight gain. Underlying mechanisms can be addressed that can then dramatically alter the current issues as well as reduce the long term risks for cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and uterine cancer. Many symptoms can be managed with lifestyle changes that include weight loss for those patients who are overweight or obese, and regular aerobic and strength training exercise, as well as conventional pharmaceuticals such as oral contraceptives, metformin effects, and spironolactone. The literature is now quite robust with natural agents that lower androgens in women with PCOS and improve insulin resistance. Chamomile (Matricaria recutita syn. M. chamomilla, Asteraceae) flowers are used to treat anxiety, insomnia, digestive ailments, hay fever, and painful menstruation. Chamomile…

Lāʻau Lāpaʻau | Herbs for Your Windowsill

Crooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs's avatarCrooked Bear Creek Organic Herbs

Like the idea of growing your own medicinal plants? Look no further than your windowsill or patio garden for these four standbys of ours: lemon balm, sage thyme, and peppermint. These herbs are familiar to us from grandma’s recipes and as lyrics in songs, but they may be less familiar as medicine. Lemon balm, also known as “hearts delight” and the “gladdening” herb, has long been treasured for its ability to soothe the nerves and uplift the spirit. An old Arabian proverb says that “balm makes the heart merry and joyful.” From ancient times, though, sage was used for digestive troubles, heartburn, depression, and even dementia. Thyme is excellent for treating sore throats and bronchitis. Make thyme tea with honey to soothe those colds and coughs. And women listen up, for bloating and digestive issues associated with our monthly cycle thyme is an excellent soother and diuretic. Another great herb for digestion…

Mars in Cancer controlling women’s wombs

Tara Greene www.taratarot.com's avatarTara Greene,Tarot,Astrology,Psychic

MARS enters CANCER May 15- July 1st.

Mars is Masculine energy, action, raw testosterone, the warrior, desire, sex, competition, rape, anger, aggression, initiator, Ruler of Aries and Scorpio.

CANCER is the Mother, womb, Feminine, the Goddess, Mother Mary,, Demeter, Gaia, Ceres, all Mother Goddesses, water, wells, nurturing, nourishment, emotions, security, home, children receptivity, Ruled by the Moon.

MARS is considered weakened in such a feminine watery sign. Yet Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps has Mars in Cancer but it also makes sense.

The war on women’s wombs is on as Alabama passed the strictest abortion law ever May 15. Mars in Cancer is repressed rage against the power of the Great Mother. Trump’s anti-environmental laws are also part of this repressed PTSD.

Mars in Cancer symbolizes the Warrior returns Home to the Goddess.

But right now we are seeing the shadow side of this very clearly. The anti-abortion fundamentalist movement…

Health | Resentment Causes Knots In Your Energy Field

We all hold grudges big and small.

When you initially start out the practice of Forgiveness daily, at first you might think you will run out of people to forgive or to ask forgiveness from.

But it turns out that it is an ongoing process.

So here is the practice: close your eyes and visualize the person who wronged you or who you wronged. Ask for forgiveness and then forgive them.

Every time you do this you will experience heat and vibration right under your heart, near your stomach and it will feel like a Knot has been untied every time you forgive. These knots cause blockages of energy flow and of breath.

The more knots you untie the more freedom you will experience.

It takes psychic energy to hold a grudge.

Forgive everyone for everything.

These knots are not needed. Let the energy flow easily through you!

Life Lessons …

Take back what is yours. You have a choice to decide what you give your mental and emotional energy to. You decide to tune in and allow it to live within you when you can just be an observer of the situations that test your patience. You might be working on yourself and evolving past the dramas that once pulled you in. There’s certain situations that return to test your evolution, but it’s not about anyone else. It’s about how much you have

worked on yourself and how much it no longer affects you.

When we’re learning to master our inner self we can see clearly what triggers us and those situations are the ones that require us to grow. So be thankful when things come up because you now know how to work through it instead of overreacting and overthinking it. Mastering yourself is an everyday experience that helps you get better at being the best you. You’ll realize you no longer have the energy to play along or react so easily.

You find yourself investing your time in what adds value into your life. Your focus becomes about living a more enriched life because anything else is draining your precious life force. Ask yourself is it even worth giving my precious life force to something that happened in the past? To someone who doesn’t deserve it? To a situation you outgrew? Remember, your attention and your focus is your power. The scenarios you overthink and constantly replay aren’t evolving you. Stop the self-judgment and just forgive yourself. Decide now that you’re going to better manage your energy. You’re going to think, feel, and do what evolves you. You’re going to make peace with what has happened and what you can’t change. Starting today you’re going to take your power back by consciously deciding what you feed your energy. Don’t allow anyone to thrive off of you feeling low or down about yourself. You have the power to manage your mental and inner world which will reflect how you handle everyday life. Be very patient with yourself. You’re evolving and learning. Things will get more clear for you.

Card of the Day – The Devil – Wednesday, May 15, 2019

tarotbycecelia's avatarTarot by Cecelia

However many years may be involved likely varies from one individual to another, but this turning point, it has arrived, and it is time to set yourself free. Parts of the old life can not co-exist with the new life which awaits you by the Solstice, so being released from what has been holding you back has to be a welcome feeling, no matter how scary it may feel. Free will is at work here, and by choosing not to continue in any patterns, situations, or relationships, which may be construed as self-destructive, is a step toward freedom and higher ground.

The Devil card not only covers free will, but all of the addictions and temptations which confront us all on a daily basis. Sometimes, they are not that apparent, so it is easy to simply continue, but, now, at this time, comes the recognition that remaining chained to something…

The Power of Gratitude

If you only knew where your current situation is taking you, you would be celebrating and saying thank you. Every single thing is working in your favor. Even the things that might disturb your peace is teaching you to come back to your center. All and any changes you’re experiencing is expanding and refining your spirit to trust more, to believe, to let go, to surrender, and also to welcome. You can forget this when you’re in the moment. You can forget that you are living what you thought, felt, and spoke into existence. You might not even realize on a subtle level why things are happening the way they are till you look back and smile to realize you needed that for your evolution. You needed that for your clarity and peace. You needed that to reach new heights. That’s all every situation is. The point is to keep reminding yourself when you are caught up in the midst of things that everything is working out for you. Pay attention to the pattens of your life. Look back to learn and see how the universe brought everything together even if the pieces are still coming together right now. Pay attention to the divine guidance happening in your favor right now. Smile about it and breathe. It’s all okay. Release the need to overthink and overwhelm yourself with worries. It’s all okay. Let this bring you inner peace a clarity right now that creates a positive shift within you. It’s all okay.

Since 1874, the home had offered thousands of Chinese women refuge and the potential of a new life. In her book, “The White Devil’s Daughters,” Julia Flynn Siler chronicles the home and the people who passed through its halls. Siler joins Forum to discuss the often overlooked history of sex trafficking in San Francisco’s Chinatown.

Public Health | Lawfirm Announces $101 Million Measles Vaccine Settlement for Infant that Suffered Brain Injury

It’s now public record: $101M settlement for an infant that suffered permanent brain injury resulting from the measles vaccine. Sadly, all that money won’t begin to make up for this child’s cognitive loss. (That figure definitely exceeds MICRA limits for non-disclosure of the settlement … YES!)

Rest assured, Plaintiffs’ counsel thoroughly researched the damning evidence, so no need to continue saying “where’s your research”. The research is now a matter of public record. We The People have been defrauded by Merck, a/k/a Big Pharma … and Merck settled because it didn’t want all of its dirty laundry out for further public scrutiny.

It is truly an unfortunate commentary on American society that the present process for believing the truth behind the vaccine FRAUD had to go to this length to be heard, let alone accepted as fact, rather than political conjecture. Now, it remains to be seen whether the ridiculous stranglehold on a parent’s right to choose not to vax their child(ren), together with the overreaching demand that employees provide proof of vax for work purposes, will be lifted.

Happy Mothers Day … ‘AUWE!!

Energy Update | May 12, 2019, with Matt Kahn

In celebration of Mother’s Day, may we take the time to honor the Divine Mother in every heart.

Not just for the special woman who helped deliver you into this world, or even the person who helped give you the experience that your birth mother, perhaps, was unable to provide. When honoring the Divine Mother, it is a celebration of reverence for the life force energy that manifests as the flow of creativity, essence of love, and streams of intuitive inspiration flowing through all of us.

May each man, woman, and child be honored for those they will love, the light they shine, and all the creative ambitions they were created to bring to life.

Whether close with your birth mom, embracing the joy of a surrogate mother in the form of a close friend or relative, or honoring the inner wellspring of creativity that wants to express its art through you, I hereby honor the Divine Mother in all of us as a love that has no end.

To all mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, relatives, friends, neighbors, and even those we have yet to meet and love, I honor the Divine Mother in you, as the heart-centered consciousness transforming our beautiful planet.

To life. To light. To laughter. To love.
