2015-12-02 Moon Square Saturn T-Squares (mutable and others)

Moon Square Saturn happens about once a month and, although it tends to be an unpleasant aspect, it is a fairly ordinary (very nearly boring) aspect.  This month, however, the Moon interacts with Saturn square Neptune (still in full force since the first perfection on November 26th), and a T-Square forms.  Other T-Squares are active (including Mars / Pluto / Uranus), and, so, this time the aspect is quite a bit more unpleasant than usual.  As is always true, the potential to harness this unpleasant energy to “get something done” exists if you are elevated enough / smart enough to use it that way.  Here is the chart, filtered for T-Squares:

La’au Lapa’au ~ Herbalogy ~ Using Agua Sacral vs. Florida Water

Agua Sacral is a Lemurian Formula containing Palo Santos and used to integrate lost parts of the personality – not soul fragments, but has more of an integrative nature. Although Palo Santos has a very strong clearing property both personal and environmental, the use of Agua Sacral has an integrative property for the retrieval of personality fragments.

Florida Water has been preserved in Santeria which can be traced back to Yoruban traditions to the Egyptian Mystery Schools, which go back to Atlantis. Florida Water is used to clear astral entities before attachment, negative thought forms and unwanted energy. Florida is also used for other ritual purposes, including fire magic.

WHAT IS A MYSTIC?

DOLPHIN-SMILE

A mystic is not a magician or a crystal-ball-gazer. A mystic is rather a person who has had an experience of God’s love so unmistakable that it changes him or her forever, imparting a confidence that cannot be shaken, a humility that cannot be doubted, a freedom that exudes love and gentleness and authenticity. A mystic knows from experience, not books, that we are each beautiful beyond our understanding, loved beyond our capacity to love, united beyond our perceptions of difference and division.

Just like many other geographical spaces that have been colonized, the Hawaiian Islands began as a sovereign and independent entity with their own societal structure and customs. After the initial invasion of western civilization beginning mainly in the late 18th century, native Hawaiian culture was destroyed through foreign societal and legislative systems, eventually leading to the illegal overthrow of the Hawaiian government on January 17, 1893. After two illicit attempts by the U.S. to acquire Hawaiian sovereignty by a treaty of annexation, theHawaiian government was forcibly overthrown …

In the beginning there was only endless darkness.Out of this darkness, two beings were born; the male Kumulipo, whose name means “The essence of darkness” and the female Po’ele whose name means “darkness itself”.
These two created all the creatures of the total darkness; the shellfish that live at the very bottom of the ocean floor, the plants that grow during the dark of night and the grubs that burrow in the earth. As these creatures were born the dark became slightly lighter. The first beings gave birth to the male Pouliuli whose name means “deep darkness” and the female Powehiwehi, whose name means “darkness with a little light”.
This couple created all the creatures of the almost-darkness; they created the fish that swim in the deep seas and land creatures that live in almost in darkness.
These dark creatures had offspring, and with every new life, the deep darkness of this world got a little brighter. The second couple gave birth to a third: the male Po’el’ele, whose name means “night” and the female Pohaha, whose name means “coming into dawn”.
These two created the creatures of the darkness-near-dawn; the insects that fly by night, the caterpillar, the grass-hopper and a large egg.
The egg hatched into thousands of birds. These were the birds that fly and sing in the hours just before dawn. The fish, the birds and the insects all had offspring- each new creature added some light to the darkness, until it was getting closer to the light we have in the hours before dawn.
Next to be born were Popanopano and Polalowwehi who gave birth to sea-turtles, lobsters and other shellfish that live in shallow waters in near-darkness. They gave birth to the male Po’hiolo and the female Po’ne’a’aku. Their names mean “night ending”. They produced the rat Pilo’I and Kamapua, the pig, both creatures of day and night.
By this time it was almost dawn and the earth was already buzzing with the life from so many creations. These twocreated the first dawn and light finally came into the world.
The first man, Ki’i and the first woman La’ila’a were born — they were both dark since they were born just at dawn. The first man and first woman had many children. With each generation, their skins became lighter and lighter until they became the color they are now.

Turkey And Mashed Potato Ravioli With Creamy Mushroom Sauce

trishlee75's avatarCook Plant Meditate

This recipe is a great way to repurpose your Thanksgiving leftovers into something new and delicious that will have your family wishing for more turkey well into the new year.  These raviolis are warm, satisfying and comforting all at the same time.  I use fresh pasta for my ravioli but feel free to use wonton wrappers if you don’t feel up to the fresh pasta task.

Last week, I had a “pre-Thanksgiving” turkey.  The turkey was great but what do you do with the rest of the 10 pounds of poultry?  I love turkey pot pie (stay tuned for that recipe in the near future) and turkey stew but I was searching for something a little different.

The Filling

1 ½ cups leftover turkey breast, diced

If you’re making this, I won’t apologize for the heartburn you’re about to receive. It will be similar to the heartburn you had on thanksgiving. This year, I only had small amounts of each item leftover (except for dessert, of course). I was talking to my sister and she said that she was making turkey pot pie for dinner. She inquired as to what we were having to which I replied, “I dunno, leftover surprise.” This is a common response at my house. My daughter sees me take out chicken for dinner and asks what I’m making. “I dunno, chicken surprise.” It means that you get chicken and whatever else I fish out of the cabinets and fridge.

This is another easy and tasty thanksgiving leftover dish.

The Leftover List (the leftover measurements don’t have to be exact):
2 pre-made pie crusts
2/3 to 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes

10 Rare But Useful Words Everyone Should Know

Is there a word for that? Here are ten of the best useful rare words in the English language

Ever caught yourself thinking, ‘There should be a word for that. Is there a word for that?’ We’re here to help. In this new post, we’ve gathered up ten useful words which should be better known, but aren’t. Many of them, of course, have literary origins or histories, which we’ll mention and discuss as we go.

UHTCEARE: This highly useful word means ‘lying awake before dawn worrying’. It appears in the Anglo-Saxon poem ‘The Wife’s Lament’, and has recently become more widely known thanks to Mark Forsyth, who includes it in his book The Horologicon.

QUAKE-BUTTOCK: This is another term for a coward, and appears in the plays of seventeenth-century playwrights Beaumont and Fletcher. We reckon it should be revived.

Reflection for November 18, 2015: pure Beatitude.

FRATER BIA's avatarPrayers and Reflections

The reason why peace of soul is the “most elementary trace”of this holy slumber, induced by prayer, is that “prayer places us in the presence of God, Who is pure Beatitude.” To pray is to give oneself to God; and since God is pure Beatitude, prayer itself is already something of this Beatitude, whether the person praying is conscious of it or not. The awareness of what prayer is, and of what God is, imparts to the very act of prayer the capacity to bestow peace on the soul. Once this peace is “tasted,”and the sense of the sacred is awoken, with the heart rendered receptive to the presence of God—then does metaphysical doctrine begin to take root in our being, conviction deepens into certitude, the “obscure merit of faith” begins to give way to the ineffable verities of gnosis.

When choosing a doctor, be sure to find one that not only listens to your concerns, but also seems to genuinely cares about your welfare.

Rain-elephant

The term ‘bedside manner’ has long been used to describe a doctor’s ability to connect and empathize with a patient. According to recent studies, the importance of good bedside manners is becoming more and more critical, as patients whose doctors listen and demonstrate an understanding of their concerns not only are more satisfied with their treatment, but also enjoy better health.

Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another and feeling with the heart of another.

Lakota Prayer

EVOKING

Great Mystery,
teach me how to trust
my heart,
my mind,
my intuition,
my inner knowing,
the senses of my body,
the blessings of my spirit.
Teach me to trust these things
so that I may enter my Sacred Space
and love beyond my fear,
and thus Walk in Balance
with the passing of each glorious Sun.

According to certain tribes, the Sacred Space is the space between exhalation and inhalation. To Walk in Balance is to have Heaven (spirituality) and Earth (physicality) in Harmony.

At the core of this timeless wisdom is the word “trust”. When did we stop trusting ourselves? When did we start giving that trust, that power, away?

In many ways the spirit path is a process of reestablishing that trust with the infinite that resides within us, just waiting to be activated.

You probably feel it deeply, and have been exposed to the Medicine that the SCO New Moon, in resonant connection (Water trine) with CHIRON retro in PI facilitates:

This is the time to dive deeper into the undercurrents of ‘what bothers us’, and lies like underwater dragons in our subconscious – often buried, suppressed material that we wouldn’t approach voluntarily (it’s usually our ego that is scared as hell).

What do we meet when we go into this ‘sticky underworld’? (Often old) feelings that hold us hostage and ‘in the dark’: jealousy, resentment, vengefulness – those feelings that turn against us and keep us separate, turn into shame and blame, and that we only covertly show to the world, while they fester and suck our energy. We beat ourselves up and go into self-sabotage.

You get the idea – we…

New Moon in Scorpio….. Diwali Festival of Lights

Julian Horack Jasomatinandan Das's avatarInsights

Wednesday 11 November marks the annual New Moon festival of Diwali, where Hindus around the world light lamps to show the way home for the returning King Rama and his entourage of Lady Sita, Prince Lakshmana and head of the troops Lieutenant Hanuman. With the dark moon night leaving the moon conspicuous by its absence, the lamps brightly allow us to invoke the light by dispelling the darkness in our lives.

Rama is of course our own Vishnu avatara, alternative incarnation of Krishna, appearing millions of years ago with a green comlexion and becoming known as the ieal king, ruler or leader or his people. From this dynasty we get the term “Rama Rajaya” – a time of perfected rulership and idyllic utopian society. We all pray that India’s BJP, Congress Party and others will introduce such an administarative rule once again, under Prime Minister Modi. More than that we…

111111:11 has been constantly ‘appearing’ to people, all over the world, since the 1990s and the onset of the new millennium – and there is great meaning to this symbol. Our senses are opening to the central role that numbers play in our lives, and the further we move into the 2000s, the more our attention is drawn to the power of numeric energy. This, after all, is the ‘digital age’. And yet, despite all our number-based technology, we are only just beginning to understand the deeper meaning of “1 plus 1 equals 2”.

The 11th month of the year always increases our potential for personal and collective growth. 11 not only helps us to evolve, but actually symbolizes the step-by-step nature of evolution. (1+1=2 = moving forward).

The Clothes of the Spiritual Ego

Frank M. Wanderer PhD's avatarWake-Up Consciousness

The spiritual Ego is unable to imagine the existence of a wisdom that is not manifested in thoughts, accumulated knowledge and experience. The spiritual Ego attempts to make an image of reality from the accumulated spiritual knowledge and experience, trying to create the mosaic image of Truth. The spiritual Ego, however, always picks the stones for the mosaic from external sources.

That is how the spiritual Ego puts one piece of the mosaic next to the other until it believes that the image is complete, and the spiritual Ego is familiar with the whole Truth. That moment, though, will never come, because the image created from the bits and pieces borrowed from others is not the real “truth;” it is only the truth as the spiritual Ego imagines it to be. As it is not possible to express the Truth with concepts, the image is false right from the beginning…

Healing and Magic. How do they mix?

I have been asked in what ways I integrate my work as a Reiki Grand Master and my pursuit of knowledge within the EOGD system and in what ways do I incorporate ritual work with healing.

Slowly, slowly, little by little, as more and more people awaken to their true reality, taking back the power that has been given away to various and random pursuits in the search for that true enlightenment that will herald success in the Great Work, we, as Golden Dawn Magicians, set forth in the perfection of our craft, keeping in mind that the betterment of others is truly a betterment for ourselves.

Functioning as a healer of energy distortions, as a Reiki Grand Master, enables one to look deep into the realm of the 4th dimension, to see past the veils and shields that surround and engulf most of awakening mankind. Most illness stems from such energy distortions caused by emotional and physical traumas the body has had to endure in the maintenance of that spark we know as self, me, the ‘I am’, sometimes confused with me and mine.

Very often a ‘healing’ can occur in the initial conversation with a client as penetration of the inner perception of the healer into the psyche of the client causes certain memories, thoughts of injustices, hurts etc. to come to the fore, and just acknowledging these traumas often instigates a trigger mechanism to the cause and the cure of a specific ailment. Often I will encompass my client in an ‘Astral banishing’ where I will perform an LBRP, BRH , in my mind whilst holding an image of the client, which will permit them to see clearer the insight required to commence their healing process. Paying strict attention to whatever is discussed immediately following this ritual allows me to diagnose the most likely area to send Reiki energy to assist in the process.

This is one way in which I integrate both schools.

Whilst performing Ruach healing, if the client is present, I might invoke a specific ‘God Form’ or I have been known to enter into an image of one of the kanji associated with the Usui Teate teaching treating that image as I would any Golden Dawn ‘God form’ and overlapping the two rituals.

Allowing is a big part of the Aloha concept that our Reiki School teaches and a part of that allowing is permitting of the fact that your intuition may well be privy to higher dimensional understanding and therefore when dealing with forces that are extra dimensional, in nature, it is wise to permit that intuition a free reign. It is for this reason we ask that our students experiment with all kinds of cross-over ideas within the healing community.

I am often called upon to aid animals in distress. Here, there is no way of establishing the same type of integration as one can with a fellow human. However, when dealing with imagery the language barrier falls away and allowing acceptance of the imagery that is being returned from the animal is the sensitive’s way of establishing a rapport. Animals are seldom plagued by demons or demonic protoplasm so there is seldom need to banish around an animal and very often the experience of being noticed, for the animal, is a great encourager.Self Aware Self Aware
