Recipe ~ Healthy Pizza with a Cauliflower Crust
Pizza CAN BE healthy! If you cut this crust into 8 slices, each piece of crust (without toppings) has only 50 calories, 2 carbs and 5 grams of protein! There’s no need to feel guilty about eating a few slices, several times a week!!
- ½ head cauliflower (about 2 cups riced)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup part-skim shredded mozzarella cheese (or Vegan alternative)
- 1 egg, beaten (or Vegan egg-substitute — flaxseed, chia or powdered egg substitute)
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- Pre-heat oven to 400° F.
- Prep a cookie sheet or pizza stone by grease it with oil. You can grease the cookie sheet or use greased aluminum foil. It will stick if you don’t grease it properly!! (I used a Pampered Chef baking stone, and made sure to spray it before putting on the crust.
- Remove the stems and leaves from your cauliflower and chop the florets into chunks. Add to a food processor (I used my Vitamix) and pulse just until the texture is similar to rice. If you don’t have a food processor or Vitamix, you can grate the cauliflower with a cheese grater or chop it.
- Sauté cauliflower “rice” in a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook until translucent, approximately 6-8 minutes. (You can use the microwave for this as well. Just place cauliflower in an uncovered microwave-safe bowl and cook for 8 minutes.)
- In a bowl, combine the cooked cauliflower with all remaining ingredients.
- Spread dough out evenly over foil (or stone) – about ¼ to ⅓ of an inch thick. The pizza should be about 9-10 inches in diameter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden, crispy on the edges and cooked through the middle.
- Remove the crust from the oven.
- Top with pizza sauce and toppings. Be careful not to add too many heavy toppings as you don’t want to weigh down the crust.
- Broil the pizza for 5 minutes, or until the toppings are hot and the cheese is melted. Allow the pizza to cool for 2-3 minutes then cut and serve immediately.

Word Spells
// Post by Made Manifest.
We’re going to cover word spells. How post-Mesopotamian language has had us under the Ol’ Abra-Cadaver trick…. the oldest control trick.. “Thou hast fallen for the eldest trick in the scroll! xD
how do i even begin? is it by telling you about how we’ve unwittingly been CAST into the MOLD of ancient SPELLS of our modern SPELLING? CAST just like a MOLD, or perhaps like a NET? while caught, like fish, in the net of spells and spelling that have been cast, thus SENTENCING us to LIFE SENTENCES and the CURSES of CURSIVE which are just TERMS, just like serving a PRISON TERM.
So we’ve been SENTENCED to the WARDS of these WORDS which can be deadly as SWORDS if misunderstood or perhaps you missed the understanding of my TERMS or the SYBILS of my SYLLABLES, or even the ancient RITES of writing??
We Languish in our languid Language, in anguish ever since the ancient times of the Anglish angus and the PhonY Phonetic Phonics of the ancient Phoenician Pheonix. You think English is easy?
Sometimes I think English should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane. In what language do people recite at a play and play at a recital? Ship by truck and send cargo by ship? Have noses that run and feet that smell?
How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language in which your house can burn up as it burns down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out and in which, an alarm goes off by going on.
English was created from the ancient Phonic Phonetics of the Phony Phoenician Phoenixes, and it reflects the creativity and cunning genius of the human race, which, of course, is not a race at all, unless youre just another rat, caught in the daily maze of the rat race of this human race against one another.
We draw money from our banks which are the edges of a river, which FLOWS in CURRENTS to the SEA, which is why its called CURRENCY, because our CASH FLOWS like pyroclastic ASH FLOWS toward the SEA, which is why we can trace back the ROOTS of all modern TRADE to the ancient Phoenician TRADE ROUTES,
and why our mundane weekdays seem to keep us in a perpetually WEAK DAZE, until we are so WEAKENED, that we barely make it to the WEEKEND. so each day, we routinely AWAKE in the MORNING, or is the Monday morning ritual conversely conversing a MOURNING at A WAKE for the dead?
And thus, the Bible speaks that the dead shall walk the earth, so it appears that they already are, without even knowing it, just by the strange language of which they know not the TRUE origins and what their words mean in etymology.
And the SIGNIFICANCE of the SIGNS and sins in SIGNIFICATION of their SIGNATURES on dead legal fictions like IDs and bills.
because our citizenship begins when we board the citizen SHIP, which sails the high seas carrying SEAMEN and it all begins when the male SHIP docks in its female SLOT or SLIP, also known as its BERTH, and unloads its CARGO or SEMEN, which sail up the WATERS of the CANAL.
So she gets pregnant and now carries the precious CARGO and will now give BIRTH to the new citizen that must now register to board the citizen SHIP and repeat the cycle all over again, until the citizens catch on to the ancient spells of the PHONY PHONETIC PHOENICIANS’ tools of commerce and piracy of the high seas and the human commodity through the use of their made up languid language, which gives us our modern english.
and we all KNOW that the sacred owl is also the symbol for wisdom, because it sits on the wise old OAK TREE, or the TREE OF KNOWLEDGE, where the LOG comes from, which of course, is the very etymology of LOGic, and the LOGY suffix in our words, which means “the study of,” just like the very word etymoLOGY means the STUDY of ROOT (sacred TREE) meanings, which comes from greek LOGOS, meaning “to reason. words, speech, discourse.”
So we use our WOODEN pencil which comes from the LOG of LOGIC from the sacred TREE of KNOWLEDGE to LOG down our LOGIC on the paper, or the papyrus, which also comes from the sacred TREE of KNOWLEDGE.
So of course the fertility of nature and the SACRED PHALLIC TREE OF LIFE is where we get our meaning of “WOOD,” or “my LOG” as our phallic fertility symbol which comes from nature, as in “ive got WOOD” or i’m “ROCK HARD,” from the ancient ritual of anointing the PHALLIC FERTILITY STONE, which is why we must GET DOWN ON OUR KNEES to be anointed with the sacred fluid for the consecration, the secretion, the chrism, oil, CREAM or milk! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chrism
And of course we all KNOW that in biblical context, to KNOW someone, means to be intimate with them, as in sex, which is why we say “I want to get to KNOW you, girl!” meaning to get intimate with you….

Out of The Blue

~ From an unexpected or unforeseen source
~ At a completely unexpected time
How many times we noticed ourselves saying this famous expression when we are talking to each other and willing to make the subject sound more impact-full?
Why Out Of The Blue?
Why not green, yellow or any other spectrum of color (Co+LORE)?
Color Blue in Russellian science and Astrology is associated with a feminine energy of creation. A Magnetism. Venus. Eve… Earth.
Feminine energies are intuitive, natural, knowing, caring, loving, nurturing. They are creating. This is why we say “Out of The Blue” when we want to ex-press our amazement of something appearing suddenly in action without warning.
Out of the Mother, out of the Earth, out of the Magnetic ethereal spheres of attraction. Because you claim that you attracted certain events occuring in front of you being thyself a:

WEEKLY HOROSCOPE, July 7-13, 2014 ~ by Beverley Taylor
Another fairly quiet week, very similar to last weeks, but next week there are 3 planetary changes including Jupiter changing signs. This weeks horoscopes will in again in many respects seem very similar to last weeks, so it’s a much quieter week, although with some changes in aspects formed between planets.
The Sun remains in affectionate, affectionate, suspicious and responsive Cancer, with tendencies to withdraw when problems arise seek harmony.
The Moon starts the week in determined, jealous, strong-willed, Scorpio. On Thursday it moves in into broadminded, humorous, optimistic Sagittarius. On Saturday it moves into aloof, pessimistic, responsible Capricorn, with a Full Moon then, giving very strong reactions to people and situationsm finishing the week there.
Mercury remains in bright, quick-witted, chatty, flexible Gemini.
Venus remains in positive, playful Gemini, with good communication and mutual understanding with a partner. The rest of the planets remain much the same as for the last couple of months, so will read very similarly as previously. Some aspects formed by other planets to them, may change although some will remain the same for a while.
Mars remains in vigilant, just, harmonious Libra until Mid July, enabling good relations with others. The Generation planets,
Jupiter through to Pluto and the aspects formed between them remain more or less the same for this week. Jupiter remains in intuitive, principled, considerate Cancer, until next week, with care and help given to others.
Saturn remains in responsible, shrewd, strong-willed Scorpio, until the end of 2014. Saturn travels Retrograde for another week and half, giving a need for privacy, external influences may impact on us more than usual.
Uranus remains in assertive, blunt, energetic, self-willed Aries, for several years, and can make us individualistic and rebellious, unexpected events or disruptive emotional matters, may distract us, or help us see things differently.
Neptune remains in sensitive, intuitive Pisces for the foreseeable future, and helps us gradually develop more empathy, compassion, and build understanding, in a wide variety of ways, but also indicates a need to remain realistic. Neptune is now traveling Retrograde until Mid December, indicating boundaries between reality and illusion may blur at times, causing possible confusion, with a need to look at people and situations realistically.
Pluto remains in Capricorn for quite a few years, so is a very long term influence, showing knowledge gradually acquired on deeper levels, with balance, & realistic ways of recycling & developing our intuitive knowledge further, to use practically. Pluto travels Retrograde until late September, with a relentless search for inner truth, furthering our self knowledge approached the right way.

I Ching ~ The Week of July 7, 2014
#50 Ding The Sacred Vessel
Above: Li Radiance
Below : Sun The root, the base on which all things rest
The Wisdom:
The cauldron is on the fire
In the cauldron are all your ways and means
Tend this fire carefully
Lest you overcook the brew of transformation
The heat you are feeling is coming from deep in your consciousness. This heat is generated when true initiation is near. And as Ding is called, you are told in no uncertain terms that you have done well and you have a grand opportunity before you. You have the opportunity to make the alchemical mix of love, spirit, and fate into the elixir that, when used judiciously, will guide you to the gates of your solitude where, behind those gates, lies peace of mind, success and abundance in all things.
You have called for this sacred vessel to be placed at your feet. It is here for you to deposit your doubts, fears, and lack of surety to be transformed—cooked, if you will—and be seen for what they truly are, and what they mean in your life, and how their energy can be transformed and made useful.
This boiling brew of transformation is meant to purify your heart. From this place all is possible. You need only to take the risk you have chosen with the understanding that no matter what happens, it is the right action being delivered at precisely the right time. You, having chosen the initiatory path, will open your own vessel to receiving guidance from spirit. This spirit, that you wish to please, will open the crystal prism of your inner wisdom so you may match the frequencies and bring all into harmonious alignment with your authentic self.
All of the finite aspects of your being have been maturing and this maturation is the fuel feeding the fire that heats the Sacred Vessel that magically begets your transformation through initiation. This cycle is bringing an inner knowing and understanding of the vital place that this alchemical journey holds for us, our family, and our tribe.
The brainwashed Western mind gives no credence to the idea that being in harmony with the root and flow of cosmic energies and powers is necessary for advancement spiritually and emotionally. The concept of sacrifice and the acceptance of what is fated is difficult for the Western mind to wrap its head around. But nothing less than sacrifice is what is being called for at this time—you have called it forth from your very essence. Bring up to the front of the line your true warrior spirit and, with a peaceful mind and pure heart, you will be transformed and there will be the understanding of the human in advancement that will, though personal transformation, open the galactic door so all sentient beings can be transformed into the cosmic warriors that will open the doorway to the new golden age, the new earth. And fellow pilgrims in this game of cosmic tag… You’re it. In truth you always were it, but because of the mask you were cajoled by society into wearing, you didn’t know it. Now you do.
Ding, the sacred vessel, is bringing fate to the forefront of your consciousness. Societal programming caused its members to look at fate as a negative, as a limitation, as “less than.” Nothing could be further from the truth. Your fate—your path and purpose—is what is to be revealed to you through this act of ritual sacrifice. This initiation will lead to renewal, to a new way of being, and of being seen. Your life becomes your art, and you are appreciated in a new and very real way. It may well be through your creative, artistic expression that you are seen, or as a leader in your community, family or tribe.
Harmony with the cosmos, a big and important concept, is, in its essence, the simplest and least effortful way of all. Begin by making a change in your concept of the way you live and conceive each day. Go joyfully into harmony with nature, with Gaia, and be a blessed part in fulfilling the needs of the planet and society. Become aware of, and be fully present in, the flow of your tribe, family and personal relationships. Do not isolate at this time. You need to see and to be seen, to reflect and be a mirror for others in your tribe who are with you, knowingly or not, in this great transformative process on earth. You will surely have to sacrifice old patterns of limitation and control, patterns of insisting that you are right and others are wrong. You must dissolve your ties to relationships that have become burdens, which have kept you from your truth. Through these actions you will become inspired and become an inspiration to others. You will be a light of hope for others to see and to feel.
Ding is calling you to examine your thoughts, and the clever ways you unconsciously manipulate your own thinking process, and the thinking of those around you. To follow this call, explore where your ego has taken control. Investigate whether you have accepted certain harsh, dogmatic beliefs, or behavior as the norm, whether in your relationships, business, your craft, or in the world at large. Look carefully to see if you are harboring stale, hidebound ideas about how those in friendship or relationship with you should behave. You must then sacrifice to Ding, the cauldron of initiation, your critical, judgmental views, which you have defended in order to maintain the illusion of your superiority and control.
Than spoken words.
Diligently correct your thoughts;
The result is supreme success
And harmony with the cosmos.
Now is the time for you to prepare for personal transformation while the earth and our society is in evolution into a new Golden Age. The two must be in harmony if you are to survive these momentous times. The possibilities of a new cycle of growth and change are presenting themselves, and you have invited this change—WE have invited this change, collectively. Ding is the answer to our call. Your beautifully fated future and the joyous Now is in your hands, not in the voice of the critical ego that relishes in feeding off the status quo and keeping you in the narrow hallway where new thoughts, feelings, and ideas cannot find you.
As you travel your path of life, you will encounter real-life gatekeepers to keep you from your solace and inner truth—creatures like the mythological Cerberus, the three-headed hound of the underworld; or the sometimes rascally Pan, or the call of the siren of beauty or various and sundry ogres that can shape-shift in an instant to frighten you and stop you in your tracks. Be prepared, because when you make the commitment to clear the path to health, love, abundance, and a deepening of spirit, have no doubt these gatekeepers will show up and try every trick they know to scare you into submission. Don’t be fooled. Know that in your fate lie bravery and the heart of the heroine and of the hero… that is you. This is all part and parcel of the alchemy brewing in the caldron where you and Spirit are, in concert, cooking up the brew that will take you to the doorstep of your dreams and desires. These ogres and obstacles can come in the form of real, very real, people who have gained power over you and who do not, for their own survival or ego trip, want to let you go; or they may come in the form of a familiar old depression, or free-floating anxiety laced with doubt and fear. Ding tells you it is your job to recognize these things as gatekeepers; you must face them, and not run away from them. Use the tools of your inner truth that have been presented to you as you have walked your walk, to confront these obstacles to your serenity and inner truth. Look at your fears and hear your ego’s voice trying to fill you with doubts, then, by knowing your goal of peace and harmony, push on and leave those things in the dust.To move past the gatekeepers, you must find a balance within your body, mind, and spirit. Your power will come from moving with grace and integrity, compassion and kindness. Walk in nature, plant a garden, learn something new, and go deeper into your spiritual practice. Meditate, laugh, and play with the rainbow children who are all around us now as we make this Earth shift through our collective human will. Create fun and loving ceremony that honors the spirit, and come together with friends in celebration. These are the gifts that pave the way for initiation. You can, with courage and through your own personal process, move into new realms, where you release all personal limitations into the unlimited, vast oneness. Taking this journey with all the bravery you can muster will lead to true love, enhanced knowledge, abundance, and the sense that you can once again fall in love with your true, authentic self.
Your cosmic connection and initiation into a new way—a happier, more confident way of being—is at hand. Correcting your thought patterns is of utmost importance in making this transformation. Holding onto judgments, grudges, or anger will only give strength to the critic, the aspect of the ego that wants to take control and keep you on the stale, unsatisfying path of the past. By making your offerings and sacrifices, you will be directed, easily, to the road less traveled, where all is fresh and new. You will be lighter, stand taller, and feel the breath of life’s fresh air.
Be love, hold a light in your heart as you give, and most importantly, learn to receive the gifts that are around you every moment of every day…and…be love.
Many Blessings… In Lak’ech

Daily Words of the Buddha ~ July 07, 2014
Daily Affirmation …
On Judgment, Tolerance and Acceptance …
“When you go out into the woods and you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent, and some of them are straight, and some of them are evergreens, and some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree and you allow it. You appreciate it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didn’t get enough light, and so it turned that way. And you don’t get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree. The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying ‘You’re too this, or I’m too this.’ That judging mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.”

SEEDS FOR MEDITATION …
FULL (BLOOD) MOON OF THE GURU ~ JULY 12, 2014

A Blood Moon is when the Earth comes between the Sun and the Moon, and when the Sun shines through the Earth’s atmosphere, it projects a reddish glow on the Moon.
Ok, well that explains why it’s red, but you’re still wondering about the spiritual significance … okay, here goes:
there was a prophecy relating a series of Blood Moons to the manifesting of the Golden Age.
So, with that in mind, I dug a little deeper. It turns out, there are some pretty notable biblical references:
In the Book of Joel, it says “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great day of the Lord.”
And in the Book of Revelation it says that during the Great Tribulation “the moon will become like blood” (that explains the blood references).
It appears Blood Moons, though, aren’t that rare. HOWEVER, when they appear in a series back to back, like they are right now, well those have only occurred a handful of times in the last 500 years.
Historically, major events have followed:
Columbus reached America during one; Israel was born on one, too; and, for the first time in 2000 years, Jerusalem and the state of Israel were reunited into another after a 6 year war.
The next one in our current series just so happens to coincide with the Full Moon of the Guru on July 11. The Blood Moons are very important Moons where there will be a tremendous amount of power. Now the prediction is that The Golden Age is going to start during this time coinciding with The Blood Moons.”
The Full Moon of The Guru is the most important night of the year to accelerate your Spiritual Evolution, and Experience Miracles.
Prepare now … DON’T MISS THE MOST POWERFUL FULL MOON OF 2014!
A Candid Interview With Chef Robert Hesse
Two of The Halau’s students, Trish Lee and Amelia Rea, are excellent cooks and caterers. They are in Reno, Nevada, for the Fourth of July holiday weekend and happened to interview the talented Chef Robert Hesse … check them all out here.
If we had to pick four words to describe Chef Robert Hesse, they would be: open, honest, humble, and gracious. It was our great pleasure to see this two-time Hell’s Kitchen contestant and Assistant Executive Chef working at The Brews Brothers restaurant in the Eldorado Casino Hotel in Reno, Nevada. Chef Hesse is perfectly comfortable working a street party, which is where CPM met him, cutting brisket for an estimated 50,000 hungry festival-goers at the 19th Annual Great Eldorado BBQ, Brews & Blues Festival.

Chef Hesse is probably best known for his time spent on Seasons 5 and 6 of Hell’s Kitchen, but after the cameras are gone, each contestant continues with their lives. There has been no shortage of work for this Hell’s Kitchen Fan Favorite. He has cooked for many as an Executive Chef, judged competitions, cooked for celebrities and at the Playboy Mansion. He…

SEEDS FOR MEDITATION …

The fast pace of the rat race means we like to try and draw a sharp distinction between the dull drudgery of our everyday working lives and the alluring magic of holiday time. A necessary skill is learning to relax to avoid the after-holiday blues.

DAILY AFFIRMATION …
JUST FOR TODAY …
Do one thing today that you have been procrastinating for awhile.
People often say that they want options. When it comes to getting things done, however, options aren’t always a good thing. When everything is a possibility, it actually becomes harder to make the right choice (or any choice at all). This is the paradox of choice. But, when we place a constraint on ourselves, it can become much easier to get something done. This is especially true if it is a constraint that forces us to start small. Constraints can make it easier to stick to good habits by eliminating the number of decisions you need to make to move forward. We often think that we want an open road and the ability to choose any direction for ourselves. But sometimes, what we need is a tunnel that can reduce our choices and send us in a focused direction.

Daily Chabad ~ “A Year And A Day”
As the entirety of the sun is reflected in every glistening droplet of water, so is the entirety of life reflected in your individual lifetime.
And in each of your years, you pass through the entirety of your life.
And in every day of your life you are born, live your life through, and pass on from this world.
All of life is found in your hands, today.
Recipe ~ Quinoa Cakes with Eggplant-Tomato Ragu and Mozzarella
Ingredients
For quinoa cakes
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup quinoa
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 4 to 5 tablespoons olive oil, divided
For topping
- 1 1/2 pounds eggplant, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup grape or cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 cup drained bottled roasted red peppers, rinsed and chopped
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon chopped flat-leaf parsley
- 1/4 pound smoked mozzarella, diced (1 cup)
Preparation
Make quinoa cakes:
Bring water and 1/2 teaspoon salt to a boil in a heavy medium saucepan.
Meanwhile, wash quinoa in 3 changes of water in a bowl, then drain well in a fine-mesh sieve.
Stir quinoa into boiling water and return to a boil, then simmer, covered, until quinoa is dry and water is absorbed, 20 to 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 5 minutes. Transfer to a large bowl and cool, stirring occasionally, 10 minutes, then stir in egg.
Line a baking sheet with plastic wrap and lightly brush with oil. Lightly oil a 1-cup dry-ingredient measure. Pack enough quinoa into measure with a rubber spatula to fill it two-thirds full. (If spatula becomes sticky, dip in water.) Unmold onto baking sheet and gently pat quinoa into a 4-inch-wide patty with spatula. Make 3 more quinoa cakes, brushing measure with oil each time. Chill cakes, uncovered, at least 15 minutes.
Make topping while quinoa cooks and chills:
Toss eggplant with 1 teaspoon salt in a colander and drain 30 minutes. Squeeze handfuls of eggplant to extract liquid, then pat dry.
Cook eggplant, onion, garlic, oregano, and 1/4 teaspoon each of salt and pepper in oil in a 12-inch heavy skillet over medium heat, covered, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, roasted peppers, and water and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until eggplant is very tender and mixture is thick (if dry, thin with a little water), about 10 minutes.
Cook quinoa cakes:
Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until it shimmers. Carefully add quinoa cakes and cook, turning once carefully and adding remaining 2 to 3 tablespoons oil, until crisp and golden, 8 to 10 minutes total (pat cakes to reshape with cleaned rubber spatula while cooking if necessary). Transfer to plates.
To serve:
Return eggplant ragù to a simmer and stir in parsley and half of mozzarella, then simmer, stirring, until cheese just begins to soften, about 30 seconds. Spoon over quinoa cakes, then sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
Cooks’ notes:
·Quinoa cakes can be formed 1 day ahead and chilled, covered.
·Eggplant-tomato ragù, without parsley and mozzarella, can be made 1 day ahead and chilled, covered.
