Setting Daily Intentions
To bring about personal change, you need to first begin with an intention. Without one, you’re on a journey with no map, and no destination. You can start with this simple practice:
Before you get out of bed each morning, take five minutes to set your intention for the day. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and envision the day you want to have. If you have an important meeting, see yourself presenting with confidence. If you have a date, anticipate and welcome the romance of the evening. You may choose to see yourself sending out and receiving positive energy from all the people with whom you interact. Or simply see yourself moving through your day calmly, without worry or anxiety. Setting a clear intention in this way can have powerful effects on the outcome of your daily activity.

The Wisdom:
The spirit of the Joyous Dancer has arrived.
It has come to support you
As you enter a cycle
Of strength and correctness.
You are entering a cycle of seriousness that can serve to change you and your world for the better. Notice well that when you speak, you are heard, really heard. Your words flow as if from a fountain that has been still for eons and now flows freely, like the water in a mountain stream, bubbling forth with strength and lyricism. As you hear what you are saying, as if witnessing your own mind, your words have depth and meaning. Your clarity brings pride as you speak from experience.
Your humor is returning, too, and just in time, as you will need it as you enter at the base of the spiral of energy that will carry you upward to the next plateau in your and the planet’s evolution. This spiral of energy leads to that which is greater than great. There will be obstacles on the way up, but you have the energy to dismiss them, as never before, Humor and seeing the irony in the old ways will be the lubricant that smooths the ride. Laugh well and laugh loud, be the seed in the tribe that brings a joyous mood as you join in celebration and gratitude of what you have wrought.
Seek the inner sage as you momentarily pause to fully realize what is happening. With an energetic package, such as you are to receive, comes great responsibility. The ego would take the energy and run with it to take control and change things for its sole benefit, seeing itself as apart or separate and not considering the whole. The benefit will be to defend against the greed of the ego, as your influence over situations and others is more powerful than ever before. Misuse of power is an easy trap into which one can fall, and the veil between negative and positive is very thin. So, it is of utmost importance that you move in correctness, with compassion as your guiding principle. If you ignore the universal laws that uphold integrity, your misuse of power will lead to the destruction of what you have been working for and desiring and will place you outside the walls of the greatness that is meant for you.
In the recent past you have feared revealing the true nature of your relationships and friendships for fear of being disagreed with or dismissed. However, you now have a clear and open channel to your tribe and associates. It will certainly come as a surprise to many as you come out of self-imposed retirement with great clarity and charismatic strength. Your influence will be felt and honored as never before, and you may for a moment ask yourself, Is this really happening? It will be that dynamic and unexpected.
You have been holding back your emotions, creativity and passion because it has not felt safe to express your strength and clarity. You have, in your inner knowing, activated a law of physics that says when energy is contained, upon release it is more powerful, by many times over, than when originally placed in confinement.
Power is a double-edged sword—it can make one careless or even giddy. On the one hand you have the strength gained while in retreat; on the other is the danger of using that influence and strength to overpower people or situations. If you move in this way, misusing influence or power to achieve your own wishes and desires, on your own timetable, without keeping in mind the need for each person to exercise his or her own free will, this will surely lead to loss, isolation, and disappointment.
In this cycle ask for what you want and desire. In business, reach to abundance where you receive your fair share and reach to the heights; as an artist, request the place you wish to show or be heard; in love, move toward what or who you thought was unattainable; in your intimate life, open the door that you had closed to sensual connection that will no longer be fantasy. Free yourself and let your heart be open and correct.
The creative ideas that are coming to you now indicate that you are imbued with the power and strength to hone them into reality. Don’t fear to test drive the ideas and plans that are surfacing with the force of long-pent-up energy released. As you proceed, you will fine-tune these ideas and plans, moving a little here and a little there until you reach your goal, where you will find abundance, acceptance, and a joyous, peaceful heart.
Fear not the thunder.
The great force of nature is wise.
Pay attention to the thunder in your life;
It is your wake-up call.
Thunder in heaven—you are not afraid; you are awake! Now, as you become fully awake, the ego will tempt you to manipulate the situation to your personal advantage just because you can, and indeed you can… the benefit is not to do it, and not allow yourself to even think about it! Correctness and working with and toward the greater good is most prescient at this time—it is the tonality of the Earth’s vibration in these times of massive change and a return to Eden in concept and reality. All who realize this truth will be embraced by spirit. Be awake and conscious of this realization and this time as you have called for it and will be confused no more.
As a cycle ends you are presented with a clear and clean resolve of a glorious beginning. The results are to be your creation, your novel invention of the way you see and activate your part of the plan, the new way of thinking that, with correctness, leads to equanimity and peace of mind.
Nurture the spirit within and be empathetic of your fellow pilgrims who share the path; follow the path of service where love resides. Be of loving heart with kindness and generosity. You arrive now to be the person of medicine who will embrace the sun at midday. In this way you will benefit by making safe the way as all your fellows choose now to embark on the road less traveled. It will be lonely at times; use the all oneness and ruthlessly disembowel old patterns that have done nothing but eat away at your energy and leave you at the mercy of the ego that, once in the driver’s seat, would show no quarter and leave you without an answer to the oft asked: What is my purpose? The answer does not come from a revelatory voice from above; it is already answered and speaks to the solo warrior in concert with the heart and soul. Your heart… and your soul are a reflection of the whole of change at this very real and special moment in the timelessness of time…
I write this during the day without time…
In Love and the light of a new dawn…

DAILY AFFIRMATIONS …
Just For Today … Be Creative!

Creativity is not found just in the chosen few who exhibit artistic talent. It is a force that flows through every single one of us, allowing us to dream things up and make them happen. This week, look for an opportunity to use your hands and your creativity to make something you would normally buy.
Do you consider yourself creative? If you answer, “no,” you are in the majority; most people don’t think they are creative. It turns out, though, that you don’t have to be a great artist to be creative. Creativity is simply our ability to dream things up and make them happen. Cooking breakfast, planting a garden, even developing a business plan are all creative acts. Creative expression boosts serotonin levels, decreases anxiety, and opens the door to the inner world of our imaginations. It is here that we make meaning of our lives and that motivation takes root. The more creative we are, the more capacity we have to imagine what’s possible and make those visions real.
When did you stop singing? When did you stop dancing? When did you stop telling your story? When did you stop sitting in silence? Numerous studies show that activities like drawing and creative writing—even knitting—raise serotonin levels and decrease anxiety.
Creative expression opens the door to the inner world of our imaginations. It is here that we make meaning of our lives. It is here that motivation takes root. The more creative we are, the more capacity we have to imagine what’s possible and make those visions real.
DAILY CHABAD … Deny the Unreal

There are things you fix up by doing the right thing with them. Those carry your soul high.
There are things you fix up by not doing the wrong thing with them. Those carry your soul higher than high.
There are things you fix up because you did the wrong thing with them, and then you returned with all your heart. Those carry your soul high beyond imagination.
Yet even these have some reality of their own, some means by which they could be used for good purposes.
Then there are things whose entire being is but to oppose all that is good—to strike fear, to cause despair, to be darkness. To deny reality.
And so, in your your denial of their reality, in your refusal to show them fear, to provide them any ounce of credibility, they dissipate into the nothingness they truly are.
Those carry your soul to its very core and being. And yet higher.

Health & Wellness | Stay Hydrated This Summer With This Watermelon Green Juice
This watermelon juice has loads of fresh, hydrating greens like cucumber, romaine lettuce, and celery, not to mention our superfood friend, kale! Plus, it’s got lime and watermelon to sweeten it up and hydrate the body. Next time you need something refreshing, give this a go.
Watermelon Green Juice
Serves 2
Ingredients
- 1 small-medium head of organic romaine lettuce
- 3 cups cubed watermelon
- 1 cucumber (peeled if not organic)
- 2 small limes (peeled)
- 5 stalks of organic celery
- 5 stalks of organic kale
Directions
Wash and prepare all of your produce, cutting to fit your juicer’s shute if necessary.
Start by juicing your romaine lettuce. If your juicer has settings, use the lowest one for the lettuce.
Then, juice the remaining ingredients.
Fresh juice is best immediately after you make it; however, it will pack a good nutrient punch for up to 24 hours after it’s made if stored in an airtight container, filled to the very top, and sealed with a lid. (Sometimes I’ll add a little water if I don’t have enough juice to fill it to the top.) Mason jars with resealable lids work great for this.
Store in your refrigerator.

Seeds for Meditation ~ How Great Thou Art ~ A Capella
It is a great pity that most of the time, the narrow-mindedness inherent in the ‘take it or leave it’ versions of reality we subscribe to prevents us from appreciating truth and beauty, whatever clothes they wear. It doesn’t matter if you are a Christian or not, this is a beautiful hymn resounding with the spirit of the divine, however you understand it to manifest.

Health ~ Magnesium Deficiency Symptoms Explained: Do You Show Any of These?
(NaturalNews) Vitamins and minerals are essential to good health. They help build tissues and bones, transport and regulate our hormones, allow us to fight off infections and strengthen our immune systems. When we have a vitamin or mineral deficiency, it plays havoc with our bodies and our health. And the mineral magnesium is no exception.
Health ~ Strawberries Proven To Block Mercury In Fish: Health Ranger Shares Research With The Public

Health ~ Natural News Lab Tests Confirm Juicing To Be Safe and Remarkably Free of Heavy Metals
(NaturalNews) Late last year as I was conducting atomic spectroscopy tests on foods and nutritional supplements, I publicly asked whether juicing would turn out to be a safe practice due to the removal of all the fiber during the juicing process. Many heavy metals, it turns out, stick to plant fibers such as fruit pectin. Mercury is especially good at sticking to fibers, which is why I was able to show that strawberries and peanut butter are both excellent at binding with dietary mercury.

The Morality of Yoga
While in yoga the yamas deal with what we observe of ourselves in society, the niyamas deal with personal observances. The first of these is saucha, translated as ‘cleanliness’, although the western understanding of this word doesn’t give one the whole picture. When we think of being clean, we probably think of taking a shower and putting on fresh clothes. Although personal hygiene is important, saucha also refers to the cleanliness of our surroundings and the energy with which we interact with the world. As with everything in yoga, there is an inner and an outer dimension to our understanding.
Saucha can refer to the order in which you keep your house, how often you brush your teeth or go for a jog and the food you put into your body. If your immediate environment is a mess, it is very difficult to cultivate the clear, compassionate thinking that allows you to see the world as it is and appreciate the moment you are in. Likewise, if you don’t take care of yourself physically it is very difficult to feel comfortable in your body. Being unhygienic, not getting enough exercise and eating badly contribute to negative emotional states. Yoga teaches us that is it necessary to take care of the grosser, outer manifestations of our spirit before we can reasonably expect to deal with our more subtle inner world.
As we become aware of the grosser aspects of our existence and their effect on our psyche, and we begin to take care of them, we naturally start to become aware of the more subtle aspects of ourselves. We might become aware that our friend’s boisterous social behavior is simply a coping mechanism designed to offset her nervousness, or we might ask why we feel so drained and slimy after we talk to some people. Awareness of this sort is awareness of the energetic exchanges between ourselves and the world, and once we begin to understand how our energy interacts with the energies that surround us, we are able to remove a lot of negativity from our lives.
Our inability to live in the here and now is often due to a lot of clutter, both physical and mental (ever tried to just sit and breathe for a few minutes without thinking about what you have to do today, unpleasant past experiences or your fears for the future?). All this ‘spring cleaning’ naturally allows a lot of space for us to consider our lives and what is necessary for us to live well, but it also enables us to observe the inner workings of our minds. When we turn our attention to the cleanliness of our thoughts we truly start to understand how much of our behavior isn’t actually under our control. It’s not so much dirty thoughts about the guy next door that are the problem, but our patterned responses to the world, as most of the time we are not interacting with the world itself but rather our preconceptions and limited understanding of that world. We see the world through the haze of our fears, inadequacies and personal prejudices. The greatest step towards happiness is giving yourself the space to see things clearly. Only then can you understand yourself and your place in the world.
Just For Today …

Let your definition of play expand this week, as you find the fun side of everything you do.
Did you know that the rough-and-tumble play of children actually prevents violent behavior? Play is actually a science unto itself, because it can grow human talents and character across a lifetime. To any other parent that’s listening with a young child, you know, say a child over 3 but under 12, I ask you to think about this: if you just observe the children and don’t try and direct them, and watch what it is they like to do in play, you often will see a key to their innate talents. And if those talents are given fairly free reign, then you see that there is a union between self and talent … that this is nature’s way of sort of saying this is who you are and what you are. I’m sure if you go back and think about both of your children or yourself and go back to your earliest emotion-laden, visual, and visceral memories of what really gave you joy, you’ll have some sense of what was natural for you and where your talents lie. When crucial experiences are missed, the ability to regulate emotions and to establish empathy and to live with trust with one’s companions is definitely attenuated, or definitely constricted.
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children play is serious learning. Play is really the work of childhood.” ~ Fred Rogers

Daily Chabad ~ On Soul Repair
A soul doesn’t need fixing. It needs to be uncovered.
Blind yourself to its muddy crust. Dig deeply and deeper yet, sift through the darkened embers, search for a spark that still shines. Fan that spark until a flame appears, find the mitzvah that will serve as its oil and wick. Until all is consumed in the warmth of that flame.
For empathy is the redeemer of love, and love is the mother of all good deeds.

Daily Affirmation ….
Just For Today …
Pay attention to your breathing and the feeling of your body, and investigate the sensations of being alive.
The matter of being alive is something to be investigated. I think we take it for granted too much. That we’re going to wake up in the morning and just go on, do our stuff, run around, go to our jobs, have careers, and all that … In my work I’m trying to find the unmediated self. I think there are aspects of self that are unchanged, that echo the past, the present and the future. I’m interested in that part of reality, not the culturally created one, although that’s a layer.
Be an artist: make the invisible visible.
