Crystals ~ Chrysocolla
This natural Chrysocolla contains lovely blues and greens in gray matrix and is considered to be “extra” high quality because it is pure Chrysocolla of the same quality that goes into many jewelry pieces. Chrysocolla is found wherever copper is mined, and is often found mixed with malachite, turquoise and azurite.
Chrysocolla is a very peaceful stone. Unlike Quartz, which is high energy, or Malachite, which brings things to the surface, Chrysocolla is soothing and calming in times of stress, and brings about gentle release. Chrysocolla is used most often with the Throat Chakra, where it helps with wise communication, but can also be used to balance and strengthen the Heart Chakra, helping one to learn how to live from the truth of the Heart.
Crystal Grid ~ Wealth and Prosperity
This grid is intended to bring wealth and prosperity.
Powered by the Sun, Citrine warms, cleanses, and energizes. It heightens self-discipline and willpower, attracting professional success and wealth. It has been called “the merchant’s stone”, and can be placed in a cash box or drawer, or in the far-left corner, or “wealth corner”, of the home, to attract abundance.
Green Aventurine is known as the good luck stone and is often used in rituals with green candles, or kept in cash boxes or drawers to attract money.
With the head of an elephant, a portly belly, four arms and a broken tusk, Ganesha (sometimes called Ganesh) is one of the Hindu religion’s most popular gods Ganesha is closely associated with the first, or Root Chakra, the home of procreation, survival and material well-being. He is the Remover of Obstacles, the patron of science and learning, and the one to invoke when starting a new venture, business or writing project.
Clear Quartz is known as the “Master Healer”, with its very high vibration, and is the most versatile healing stone among all crystals. Quartz is said to be the most powerful healing stone of the mineral kingdom, able to work on any condition. Clear Quartz is known as the stone of power and amplifies any energy or intention.

The Essene Holy Communion For FRIDAY
Evening and morning and at noonday I will pray; and He shall hear my voice. ~ Psalms 55:15
Hear me, Sons of Light, for I will impart to you the gift of tongues, that by speaking to your Earthly Mother in the morning, and to your Heavenly Father in the evening, you may go closer and closer to oneness with the kingdoms of earth and heaven, that oneness for which the Son of Man is destined from the beginning of the times. ~ Essene Gospel of Peace—With the coming of day I embrace my Mother. With the coming of night I join my Father. With the outgoing of the evening and morning I will breathe their Law. And I will not interrupt these Communions until the end of time. ~ Manual of Discipline – Dead Sea Scrolls
In The Name Of Animal Equality
In The Name Of Animal Equality
We keep watching this Wheeler Center conference video featuring Phillip Wollen and we cry for our brother and sister animals with every viewing … please take the time to watch this short video that can only be viewed on FaceBook. Phillip Wollen is an Aussie who was formerly a CitiBank Vice President and Citicorp General Manager. Today, he is retired and now a most adamant animal rights activist.
And so, dear friends, it comes down to this: the battle ground for the Light is being waged right now on our palettes. Vegetarians are outnumbered 12 to 1 … better odds than the Spartans faced. Those of you who eat meat and have animals for pets … don’t you see and hear what they hear and see? Are you prepared to feed your dogs a vegetarian diet? Are you prepared to release your cats to allow them to hunt for their own food? The original Aramaic version of the Commandment is “Thou shall not kill any living being” … it doesn’t end with simply “thou shall not kill”. How can anyone spout about world peace, compassion and kindness over a roasted chicken, a holiday ham or a prime rib dinner?? What does that say about how we judge one another? The Dalai Lama says that to love is to be absent from judgment. Let’s end this hypocrisy here and now, in our lifetime, once and for all and be At-one-ment with each other and this planet, our Home.

Oil Pulling 101: 10 Tips To Making It Work
Oil pulling is an ancient Ayruveda holistic dental care method that involves nothing more than swishing cold-pressed oil in your mouth for a certain amount of time. Sounds simple, right? It also sounds a little, well, strange. Maybe even totally gross. I get it. I thought the same thing. But I’m always open for trying new home remedies so I’ve been giving it a try for the past few weeks. Here’s what I’ve learned!
The idea behind oil pulling, as well as the name itself, is that swishing with the oil helps “pull” toxins from your system as you pull the oil through your teeth and gums. The oils typically used are coconut, olive or sesame oil. That part seems to be a matter of personal preference. I’ve been using coconut oil since I already use it for everything, and my cupboard is already well stocked. It also shows anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties. Plus, I’m bit of a coconut fiend and love the way it tastes.
Oil pulling regimen
- Place 1-3 teaspoons oil in your mouth.
- Swish and “pull” the oil around the inside of your cheeks and in between your teeth.
- Continue for 5-20 minutes.
I’ve had issues with my teeth, gums and jaw since having children, so I knew I was a good candidate for trying this out. And the first time I tried it, it felt strange I’ll admit. And that 20 minutes felt like an eternity! It was also difficult not to swallow any. But swallowing the oil is a big no-no – the oil is full of toxins, bacteria and germs. But it gets easier! Here’s what I found to be helpful as I do this daily.
10 Tips for Making Oil Pulling Work
- Start first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
- If using coconut oil, melt it first, or let it melt in your mouth. I sort of “chew” it until it melts.
- Use less oil if it feels like it’s too much.
- Keep the oil in the front of your mouth – don’t gargle with it. You will have a mouthful of liquid by the end from the oil and the extra saliva.
- If your mouth and jaw get tired, take a break and let it sit without swishing in the front of your mouth.
- Try doing a small task that takes between 5-20 minutes – folding a load of laundry, taking a shower, checking emails, packing your kids’ lunches, vacuuming the living room, etc.
- Be sure to do it long enough so that the oil and the enzymes in your saliva interact.
- Spit the oil into the garbage can, not in the sink to prevent it from clogging pipes.
- Swish really well with salt water afterward.
- Brush your teeth and floss as normal. (I use a homemade toothpaste.)
Benefits I’ve noticed
- My gums feel healthier and they don’t get sore anymore.
- My teeth feel stronger. I noticed after just the first few days – really!
- Much better breath.
- Less plaque.
- My tongue feels cleaner.
- My lips are super soft!
- My jaw pain has lessened a lot. I’m pretty sure I have TMJ. The first few days my mouth and jaw felt super fatigued afterward, but now my entire face feel stronger. This may be more from the extra “exercise” than the oil itself. 🙂
In addition to the benefits I’ve already seen, oil pulling has tons of other reported benefits.
More oil pulling benefits
- reduced headaches, insomnia, PMS, sinus congestion
- general detoxification benefits
- overall increased oral health
- reduced inflammation in the body, including reduction of arthritis symptoms
- pain relief
- skin problems (eczema, acne, rashes) reduced
Bottom line for me
I love the benefits I’ve seen so far and plan to continue. What do you think? Is it too weird? Or are you wiling to give it a try? For those of you who have tried it, what benefits have you noticed?

On Time Progression …
What if there is a density of reality in which time is 3 dimensional? According to some types of String Theory, what you do right NOW can potentially cause what happened 5000 years ago in our interaction with linear time, because what we do to an electron effects both its past and its future according to string theory. We experience linearity, but what if time progression was nothing more than a series of universal cause-effect relationships randomly interconnected throughout time as a whole?
Some persons propagate that time is non-existent it only exists on this plane of reality as our human shells do age and eventually die, but our consciousness … our being … our essence lives on for all eternity transitioning from one stage to another. A never ending cycle so to speak. The past, present, and future are all happening simultaneously. With that said we should all live in the present, stop rushing about, be kind to others as well as animals, and start seeing how beautiful and precious life really is as we are all one and all connected. Stop and smell the roses people as this life here on earth is but a mere moment in the greater universe.
What do you perceive Time to be in your experience?
Zatorre and Salimpoor ~ “Why Music Makes Our Brains Sing”
By Robert J. Zatorre and Valorie N. Salimpoor
MUSIC is not tangible. You can’t eat it, drink it or mate with it. It doesn’t protect against the rain, wind or cold. It doesn’t vanquish predators or mend broken bones. And yet humans have always prized music — or well beyond prized, loved it.
In the modern age we spend great sums of money to attend concerts, download music files, play instruments and listen to our favorite artists whether we’re in a subway or salon. But even in Paleolithic times, people invested significant time and effort to create music, as the discovery of flutes carved from animal bones would suggest.
So why does this thingless “thing” — at its core, a mere sequence of sounds — hold such potentially enormous intrinsic value?
The quick and easy explanation is that music brings a unique pleasure to humans. Of course, that still leaves the question of why. But for that, neuroscience is starting to provide some answers.
More than a decade ago, our research team used brain imaging to show that music that people described as highly emotional engaged the reward system deep in their brains — activating subcortical nuclei known to be important in reward, motivation and emotion. Subsequently we found that listening to what might be called “peak emotional moments” in music — that moment when you feel a “chill” of pleasure to a musical passage — causes the release of the neurotransmitter dopamine, an essential signaling molecule in the brain.
When pleasurable music is heard, dopamine is released in the striatum — an ancient part of the brain found in other vertebrates as well — which is known to respond to naturally rewarding stimuli like food and sex and which is artificially targeted by drugs like cocaine and amphetamine.
But what may be most interesting here is when this neurotransmitter is released: not only when the music rises to a peak emotional moment, but also several seconds before, during what we might call the anticipation phase.
The idea that reward is partly related to anticipation (or the prediction of a desired outcome) has a long history in neuroscience. Making good predictions about the outcome of one’s actions would seem to be essential in the context of survival, after all. And dopamine neurons, both in humans and other animals, play a role in recording which of our predictions turn out to be correct.
To dig deeper into how music engages the brain’s reward system, we designed a study to mimic online music purchasing. Our goal was to determine what goes on in the brain when someone hears a new piece of music and decides he likes it enough to buy it.
We used music-recommendation programs to customize the selections to our listeners’ preferences, which turned out to be indie and electronic music, matching Montreal’s hip music scene. And we found that neural activity within the striatum — the reward-related structure — was directly proportional to the amount of money people were willing to spend.
But more interesting still was the cross talk between this structure and the auditory cortex, which also increased for songs that were ultimately purchased compared with those that were not.
Why the auditory cortex? Some 50 years ago, Wilder Penfield, the famed neurosurgeon and the founder of the Montreal Neurological Institute, reported that when neurosurgical patients received electrical stimulation to the auditory cortex while they were awake, they would sometimes report hearing music. Dr. Penfield’s observations, along with those of many others, suggest that musical information is likely to be represented in these brain regions.
The auditory cortex is also active when we imagine a tune: think of the first four notes of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony — your cortex is abuzz! This ability allows us not only to experience music even when it’s physically absent, but also to invent new compositions and to reimagine how a piece might sound with a different tempo or instrumentation.
We also know that these areas of the brain encode the abstract relationships between sounds — for instance, the particular sound pattern that makes a major chord major, regardless of the key or instrument. Other studies show distinctive neural responses from similar regions when there is an unexpected break in a repetitive pattern of sounds, or in a chord progression. This is akin to what happens if you hear someone play a wrong note — easily noticeable even in an unfamiliar piece of music.
These cortical circuits allow us to make predictions about coming events on the basis of past events. They are thought to accumulate musical information over our lifetime, creating templates of the statistical regularities that are present in the music of our culture and enabling us to understand the music we hear in relation to our stored mental representations of the music we’ve heard.
So each act of listening to music may be thought of as both recapitulating the past and predicting the future. When we listen to music, these brain networks actively create expectations based on our stored knowledge.
Composers and performers intuitively understand this: they manipulate these prediction mechanisms to give us what we want — or to surprise us, perhaps even with something better.
In the cross talk between our cortical systems, which analyze patterns and yield expectations, and our ancient reward and motivational systems, may lie the answer to the question: does a particular piece of music move us?
When that answer is yes, there is little — in those moments of listening, at least — that we value more.

There is no other message today but this: live in joy.
Find moments to create happiness, to draw from the deep well of the Divinity within you to literally create joy. You can find the places where joy is not, and put it there. You can find the hearts where joy is missing and share. Let joy be your net of love, and use it to catch the life you want and the love you deserve.

The Wisdom:
Fire adorns the mountain.
Like a necklace of light
The greater good is quietly revealed.
Success is achieved without litigation.

It is your symbol for this moment.
The mountain attempts to change nothing,
Yet its form and strength of presence
Changes all without effort.
The benefit now is to fully embrace the truth that we share every day on Earth with everybody and everything else here—no boundaries of states or countries, or species. We are at the tipping point. If we do not accept that we are all indeed of one great tribe that needs one another and feels one another, then we are destined to experience more war, fear, hunger, crime, greed, poverty, and annihilation of what we hold dear: Gaia, that is our mother.
This sacred cycle of adornment and grace is a psychedelic opportunity to experience the clarity to see through to the truth of the unity of all beings, and in so doing to act with grace, good manners, kindness, dignity and compassion.
This week take some moments of absolute stillness and you will see the beauty in this gift of grace you are offered. You have worked hard for it. It is a reward and a surprise—an unexpected gift, which is the best kind.
Adorn yourself not with fancy clothes, designer this or that and expensive accouterments. Not that these things are intrinsically bad—they’re not, but now is not the appropriate time. Now is the time to adorn oneself with the jewels of humility, grace, dignity, and compassion.
You can dance in the shadows no longer… now, reveal yourself and dance in the light of love.
Much love and many blessings

Maya Angelou ~ I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings

The free bird leaps
on the back of the wind
and floats downstream
till the current ends
and dips his wings
in the orange sun rays
and dares to claim the sky.
But a bird that stalks
down his narrow cage
can seldom see through
his bars of rage
his wings are clipped and
his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings
with fearful trill
of the things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.
The free bird thinks of another breeze
and the trade winds soft through the sighing trees
and the fat worms waiting on a dawn-bright lawn
and he names the sky his own.
But a caged bird stands on the grave of dreams
his shadow shouts on a nightmare scream
his wings are clipped and his feet are tied
so he opens his throat to sing.
The caged bird sings
with a fearful trill
of things unknown
but longed for still
and his tune is heard
on the distant hill
for the caged bird
sings of freedom.
